1. Game Face GFM4NFB Ripcord M4 Airsoft Rifle

Highlight: Durable and fully automatic, the Game Face GFM4NFB Ripcord M4 delivers rapid-fire action with realistic design.
Constructive Review: This was my first airsoft rifle and have used it for about 7 months continuously and put it through it’s paces. Overall, I think it’s a pretty solid starter rifle. The cost is low enough and the value for what you get is solid. The gun is reliable, maneuverable, fairly lightweight, and easy for anyone to handle (would even be good for younger players). The mag release and fire mode switches are easy to use and do not stick. It has rails and mount points for all your accessories.
It does have a couple drawbacks. First, i advise you to buy some mid-cap m4 mags and a crank speed loader. The hi-cap mags that come with it are meh… and not reliable enough for me. The first games I played i was having terrible feeding problems with the stock hi-cap mag and another hi-cap mag. After buying some Lancer mid-caps, the feed problem was solved. Also, when loading the mag always double check it’s fully seated in the mag slot. If not pull the mag and reseat it. Otherwise, rounds will jam or the mag will fall out.
Second, you’ll want to tighten the stock bolt (which holds the stock to the body). My stock started falling off almost immediately after unpacking it. I’m not sure why it wasn’t tightened enough when assembled, but it seems common from other reviews. To do this, open the battery compartment in the stock. You’ll need a long screw driver to tighten a bolt deep inside. DO NOT over-tighten the bolt or I suspect you’ll break your stock like other reviewers have done. After making that bolt snug, i have zero problems with the stock coming off.
Third, this is a shorter rifle so you aren’t going to get quite the same ranged accuracy as other rifles. Tweaking the hop up can help some with range and use .25 BBs or .28
I personally like the flexibility of a shorter lighter rifle, so this fits my playstyle fairly well. But, at more range, this rifle is not the best. Just be aware you won’t be sniping with it. You’ll likely average between 280-340 FPS with .25 BBs which is fine for most paintball fields and close quarters. If you are playing in big open areas you’ll probably be out-ranged by your opponents.
Overall, I really enjoy this rifle and don’t regret purchasing it. I later purchased the Sig Sauer 556 from my friend thinking it was an upgrade and really appreciated this rifle more after playing a few games with the other gun. -Jack
Trending Review: This is my first decent full auto airsoft gun, and so far I’ve been quite happy with it. I’ve got two of these so far both on sale. One for 130 and the other for 140. If it wasn’t for the price than I certainly wouldn’t have gotten this one, but you really can’t beat the price. Sure you can get a nicer Lancer Tactical for 220 but it’s not worth the extra 80 dollars. The accuracy is really great on this gun, although it certainly isn’t 450 FPS. I would say it’s more around 350, which is still pretty good. It’s super easy to get accessories for it, such as basically all Lancer Tactical magazines (I’ve got one myself). It’s really sturdy, and certainly has a realistic feel to it. I know 7 people in my immediate area who have it, and no ones complained. For a beginner gun, I would highly recommend.
A lot of people mentioned the stock coming off. The reason for this is that there is a coupling at the end of your stock. You can just hand tighten that, and it keeps your stock in place. It’s a really obvious coupling, and it’s super easy to tighten. That coupling tightens your stock, to your actual gun. If the coupling is loose, then the weight of the stock can cause it to break off. It doesn’t get loose very often, but it might be out of the box. Again, it’s a super easy thing to tighten, and it doesn’t come off very often. But I can see how that could cause the stock to break off, if you don’t notice it. -Jeff Glover
Reassuring Review: Bought this for my 12yo son a few months ago. He’s put about 8000 rounds through it and dry fired it more than that. He takes it with him everywhere and, while he takes care of his stuff for the most part, he’s not easy on it either. This thing just works. It’s a good weight, shoots more than 300FPS and shoots fast. Even has some metal frame parts which even more expensive rifles don’t have. To top it all off, it’s FDE. For the realism and durability, it’s a winner. -Bertmoog
2. Crosman CAK1 BB Air Rifle

Highlight: Authentic AK-style design with full-auto BB firing for realistic, rapid-fire action.
Constructive Review: I recently acquired the Crosman CAK1 Full or Semi-Auto 4.5mm BB Air Rifle, and I must say it has exceeded my expectations on multiple fronts. This air rifle strikes an excellent balance between durability, value, and accuracy, making it a standout choice in its category.
Durability (5/5):
The build quality of the Crosman CAK1 is robust and reliable. The materials used in its construction inspire confidence in its ability to withstand regular use. The rifle feels solid in hand, and the attention to detail in its design is evident. I’ve put it through various shooting scenarios, and it has held up exceptionally well, attesting to its durability.Value (5/5):
In terms of value for money, the Crosman CAK1 is a stellar investment. The rifle offers both full and semi-automatic firing modes, providing versatility for various shooting preferences. Considering its affordable price point, the features and performance packed into this air rifle make it an outstanding choice for both beginners and experienced shooters alike. The inclusion of multiple functionalities at such a reasonable price sets the CAK1 apart from its competitors.Accuracy (4.5/5):
The accuracy of the Crosman CAK1 is impressive, especially considering its semi-automatic capability. It consistently delivers tight groupings, and I found it to be remarkably precise at various distances. The adjustable rear sight is a nice touch, allowing for personalized accuracy adjustments. While the accuracy is excellent, a slight adjustment in the trigger sensitivity could potentially enhance the overall shooting experience even further.Additional Features:
The CAK1 comes equipped with a user-friendly CO2 cartridge system, making it easy to load and shoot. The overall ergonomics of the rifle are well-designed, providing a comfortable grip and easy handling. Conclusion:
In conclusion, the Crosman CAK1 Full or Semi-Auto 4.5mm BB Air Rifle is a standout performer in terms of durability, value, and accuracy. Whether you’re a beginner looking for a reliable entry-level option or an experienced shooter seeking an affordable yet high-quality air rifle, the CAK1 deserves serious consideration. It delivers on its promises, making each shooting session a satisfying and enjoyable experience. I wholeheartedly recommend the Crosman CAK1 to anyone in search of a versatile, durable, and accurate air rifle without breaking the bank. -Giuliano S
Trending Review: First off, just want to say this is the sickest CO2 air rifle out there. I grew up using Dad’s Crosman .45 BB gun, pump action that I created loads of memories with I always dreamed of one of the full auto BB guns in Soldier of Fortune Magazine… which was a no-go having a full auto BB gun in Canada. I owned a few 9mm replica CO2 pistols and rifles over the years and good times were had.
Now I live in Murica, where freedom means a responsible adult can live and when I saw this CAK1 full auto, I jumped on it. The box is attractive and when you unpack it will not believe your eyes how realistic this looks. Based on the AK-architecture, I have real AKs and this looks like one of them. That said, don’t be brandishing this around town or in front of people, the SWAT team will be called cause it looks totally real from a few feet away.
We have an invasive Iguana problem in south Florida and this helps. Before people cry that’s inhumane, they are invasive and destructive and it is totally legal open-season. What is inhumane is them burrowing and destroying $100,000 seawalls, attics, landscaping, garden, flowers or giving your beloved pet salmonella disease. No iguana is safe, and they now realize this is a no-go zone to flee and infest my older neighbor’s dock and pool.
This gun is easy to load, use, clean and gets the job done. the blowback is loud… louder than my friend’s AR15 with silencer anyway. The trigger it light and you can bang off all 28 rounds really quick.
I’m burning through CO2 and BBs but don’t care, this gun is so much fun. The full auto experience that you want but would get you 5 year minimum sentence to try. I can even put all my real AK accessories on it.
PROS: low cost, realistic looks with many metal parts, heavy weight, quality operation, 1400 BB/min fire rate with real impact power of 410ft/s, full auto fun and sounds, operation and handling just like real AK for practice, use real AK accessories on picatinny rail.
CONS: 28 rounds in mag is a bit of a joke, should be 50-100 with all that space, expensive mags $50 for 28 rounds & $70 for the 300 round auto fill mag, CO2 goes quick, CO2 most powerful early on but drops if sitting for a while. -Dave Pro
Reassuring Review: Nice style, sturdy and accurate once you set it to your specifications, easy to load , aim and shoot , good for beginners or lower experienced ones, works great for pesky destructive little creatures and one’s that easily contract rabies and other diseases such as Skunk , squirrels, possums, rats, mice, raccoons, wild dog’s, coyotes, wolves, badgers, Wolverines, gophers, ground squirrels, prairie dog’s, feral cats, bob cat’s and anything you need to scare away. Won’t kill the bigger pests obviously but still can do damage, I only got it to keep me and my pack safe as me and my dogs safe from such creatures that were infected with rabies and other diseases that could and would make us sick and the bandaid station was all there was in the middle of nowhere,to hopefully make it to the doctors if needed. -Rhiannon Cline
3. Game Face GF76 Airsoft Rifle

Highlight: Full-auto AK-style electric airsoft rifle with realistic design and high-capacity magazine.
Constructive Review: This was my first airsoft gun and I wanted to get something pretty budget but one that also still had good range and accuracy. I’ll go over each of these:
Range: Pretty good, you will want to add just a touch of hop up. Once you add enough hop up so that the bbs don’t fly up but you get a little more range they probably drop around 100 meters would be my guess. Maybe a bit more
Accuracy: Great! The sight is a little weird since you have to look through the scaffolding, but it hits right where you aim. I’m planning on getting a red dot soon.
Power: Seems pretty good. Definitely not less than 350 fps.Overall this is a great airsoft gun. In addition to all of this, it’s extremely durable. The shell is mostly metal and it is very strong. An example of this is I was playing airsoft with some of my friends on their wooded property and they ambushed my team. I was sprinting through the forest and tripped on a root and the gun slammed into a tree. Aside from a little dent, it was completely fine, whereas I was expecting something to be seriously broken. So that was definitely impressive.
Last but not least, it came with quite a few accessories. There was a nice sling which works great, the thing to clean out the barrel, battery and charger, and 500 nice crossman bbs as opposed to the small packs of cheap ones my friends got with their guns. Overall a great purchase. -Anders J.
Trending Review: I use this gun to scare woodpeckers off of my house. I mounted it to a step ladder and pull a string with a pulley system when I hear them pecking. Have actually hit three woodpeckers. The pattern is not bad and I use “auto” mode. I pull the trigger with a pulley system so I stay out of sight. I sighted it in in the back yard with a laser pointer fixed to the barrel. I want to add a RC model servo to make it easier to pull the trigger. The Grandkids also like to target practice on a target taped to a cardboard box in the backyard. I bought a spare battery to keep one charged. Be careful to get the right number of cells because a longer one won’t fit the battery chamber. -G. Quickstad
Reassuring Review: This is my favorite airsoft gun! This gun spits out so many BBs it is jaw-dropping! The battery holds a charge well. I use this to chase off the squirrels and it works perfectly. I run about a half of a magazine a day and I have charged it four times in two months. To charge the battery, you have to take it out of the gun, which is kind of a hassle but by no means hard. The gun’s full auto is insane. I usually select full auto but just do short trigger pulls and it is easy to pop off one round at a time once you get the hang of it. I have had this for a couple of months and use it just about everyday and have never had any trouble…except from my wife who wants me to kill the squirrel instead of persuade it.
BTW, I think this could kill small animals if shot at ranges of less than 10 feet (3 meters). Beyond 10 feet, it might still cause serious injury so be careful. -Greg
4. Crosman M4-177KT Air Rifle

Highlight: Lightweight and versatile, the Crosman M4-177KT offers multi-pump power with tactical styling and precision.
Constructive Review: Really fun a great to use, I bought 4.5mm pellets for it and they work really well, haven’t tried bbs yet. Can’t say anything on reliability because it’s only been a day but so far it seems like really good quality. I will say nothing on the outside is metal, it’s all plastic. I wish there were a few metal parts. But it’s also pretty heavy roughly 8-10 pounds. Feels solid! -Nabin Dhamala
Trending Review: I have had this for about 2 weeks now and I am very pleased with the operation of this gun. I do not shoot BB’s out of the gun since it is rifled and steel BB’s will ruin the rifling. I have shot 2 different styles of crossman pellets. Destroyers and the pointed hunting, both preform just fine, not much of a difference. Destroyers will not go threw a Del Monte green bean can, but the pointed will go through and out at 10 pumps at 20-25yds or so. 7 pumps is strong enough to kill squirrel ( havent done it yet, no need to ). When I first got the gun the pointed pellets would not pierce a paint can lid, but after 200+ rounds the gun is performing better and is now penetrating the lids. I’m using the included iron sights, the sights were pretty dead on out of the box, only very small adjustments were needed to fine tune the shot.
The front iron sight is very hard to see at night, if at all. With the weaver/picatiny rail the gun is highly customizable for longer range scopes, open sights, red dots, lasers, flashlights or whatever you wanna put on it. The bottom pump rail and bottom rail on barrel are almost useless, unless you find very low proflie items (laser sight is the only thing I found that woud work, but it is very very slim, made for hand gun). I have seen people put a bi-pod mount on the bottom pump rail and barrel rail without any clearance issues. Stock slides in/out for a more comfortable fit. Storage in clip is good.
I removed the wadding to allow for ammo and extra clips. I have had friends who have seen the gun sitting in my garage and have asked “why do you have an AR-15 just sitting in your garage?) The gun is very real looking from at a glance and long range (neighbor warning). The noise level of the gun is modest, my neighbor 4 houses down can hear it. Overall this gun is awesome and I love it. Youtube search this gun and watch the video review by switchingtomac and pyramyd air for a very in depth review. (Thanks guys for making my decision easier). I also have a pumpmaster 760 and it is not as powerfull as this one, even though the ratings are the same and the gun is supposed to modeled after the 760, the M4 performs better, power wise, accuracy is the same. Now click “add to cart”. -Colin
Reassuring Review: This was exactly what I was looking for in a survival gun. It weighs, believe it or not, around 3 pounds because the body is mostly a light plastic. I added a sling, tatical LED spot light (120 lumens recommended), and a good quality 4X30 scope. The accuracy at up to 50 feet is like my AR7 22 caliber cartridge survival gun. I can shoot a 2″ bulls eye all day long with the M4177. The pump action is easy, but I’m not crazy about the manual indexed clip. I like the mock clip storage compartment for extra pellets and tools, you could put a whole survival kit in here.
The butt end has a hole when the stock is extended that could carry even more survival equipment and with the sling it effortlessly molds to your body as you walk. 600 FPS (American model) is enough for small game and with a scope a head shot is very possible for larger prey, like rabbits. I’d guess it would work well for all size of birds. So this is exactly what I was looking for – light, accurate, a pump for a survival weapon, and a good price. You can carry about ten 177 Cal. pellets for the same space of one 22 cal. cartridge, so it’s a good option for a small game survival gun.
Crossman is coming out with a break barrel, high power-nitro piston version of this gun soon. I’ll buy one of these too for greater range. Didn’t try it with BBs, only pellets and it seems to do well. A 22 cal. pellet model with 1,000 – 1,200 FPS with a hollow point pellet would be great. My theory is that birds – especially ducks and geese are the preferred survival game because of their fat and availability near most all water sources. Rabbits are too lean to rely on exclusively for survival. I’ll probably add a light weight laser sight for the last of 3 usable picatiny rail mounts. Looks like a good idea is to use the pistol grip to hold the gun to cock so you don’t break the popout stock if extended. I’ve owned a dozen airguns and I love this one! -George
5. Crosman 1077 Air Gun

Highlight: Semi-automatic CO2-powered air rifle with rapid-fire capability and 12-shot rotary magazine.
Constructive Review: One of the best pellet guns I’ve owned. This is my third one. Had 2 others when I was a kid and wore them both out. Crosman has made very few changes to this 20+ year old design because it’s pretty much perfect. The only thing that’s still a little difficult is setting the CO2 cartridge. It’s just in an awkward spot and you have to turn it fast and hard to make sure it punctures and you don’t lose pressure. Other than that it’s a great gun. Also, my first 2 shot around 630 fps, but Crosman upped the speed to 780.
I used to get about 5 or 6 mags before changing co2. Now I only get 3. Some of the reviews say you get 4 mags, or 48 shots, but at that point you start getting noticeably weak shots and you’re just wasting pellets at that point, so I’ve been changing co2 every 36 shots. Also, a small drop of the Pellgun oil on the tip of every cartridge keeps all the parts running smoothly and every shot consistent. The front sight is a different as Crosman added a fiber optic to it. The rear sight is fully adjustable for windage and elevation.
And no, it’s not difficult to adjust if you know anything about zeroing open sights. The gun only comes with one mag and one clip. The clip inserts in the mag. Buy extras of both as I did if you don’t wanna spent most of you time reloading. As far as accuracy goes, the barrel is rifled pretty tight for a pellet gun, so that makes it more accurate than most in my opinion. The trigger isn’t on a pivot but more of a slide that activates the rotary mechanism and co2 impingement device. It’s not heavy at all. I can make tight double tap groups on my back yard target at 15 yards. I think I’ll probably put a red dot on the dovetail grooves since I’ll be able to line up on a target faster (birds). All in all it’s a great pellet gun. Never found one better for less than $100. -James
Trending Review: First session went great. Shot about 150 rds and had only a couple of jams which were easily fixed by popping mag in and out. Second session was as though someone sabotaged it while it was in the closet. Trigger became nearly impossible to pull, the clip would hang up, the magazine would get stuck (had to use barrel release to free it), and half the pellets wouldn’t punch out. Extremely frustrating. Began recalling all the negative reviews I read before buying.
Called Crosman – they set me up for warranty repair. As i was about to pack it, I suddenly discovered the problem: operator error. There’s a tiny slide/latch on the magazine to line up the clip. Had totally forgotten about it. I put in a new cylinder, loaded her up, set the guide latch, and every issue I mentioned was immediately solved. Worked great once again! I’m so embarrassed.
As for all the bad reviews here for this gun, I can only wonder if I’ve avoided these problems by being very gentle and cautious when handling (well, except for the magazine latch). After all, it’s priced well under $100 and made almost entirely of plastic – and it’s a semi-automatic. Or maybe the gun’s not old enough yet. We’ll see. I have 5 mos left on the warranty. Guess I better shoot 1000 more rounds before then.
In the meantime, I’m very pleased. Crosman 10.5 domes, Crosman 7.5 HPs and Gamo Hunter domes worked great, 1-to-1 1/2 inch groups at 30 ft and easily hitting 2- and 3-inch paddles at 50ft. Get a handful of clips – they’re too cheap not to and multiplies the fun. -StarvinMarvin
Reassuring Review: To much fun, purchased the extra rotary 12 round clips very accurate and fairly powerful at about 60ft. We purchased a can launcher has plenty of power for the first 30 rounds to launch the can after that you can still get another 10 shots or so good enough for paper targets. co2 cylinder is faster and easier to change out then our colt air pistol. I did put a drop of air gun lube on the tip of the new cylinder every time we changed one I had seen some reviews where they said cylinder leaked or was hard to get out I think the oil helped us to avoid any problems. It’s obviously not as powerful as our pump air rifle but it is a lot more fun not reloading after every shot. might to to powerful if your just want to scare off a critter it could easily brake the skin I recommend and air soft pistol for that or a single pump on an air rifle with a BB not a pellet unless it’s a big critter. 6. Crossman Game Face

Highlight: High-powered and lightweight, the Game Face airsoft rifle delivers fast, accurate performance for serious players.
Constructive Review: Disclaimer: I’m new to airsoft and these are some of the first airsoft guns I’ve owned, so take this for what it’s worth. However, I purchased these guns about 2 months ago, and I am super happy with them.
The Rifle:
The rifle is awesome! It shoots really far and fairly accurately for a spring loaded <$50 gun. When playing with friends, this gun has quickly become a favorite and has been used many times. Although the gun is made of plastic, it is really sturdy and doesn’t feel like it will fall apart. The only con that I can think of is the mag. It can hold 400ish bbs, but every 20 or so, you need to take it out and shake it around for them to load. This can be slightly inconvenient, but shouldn’t be too much of a problem for short amature games. The bbs it comes with are .12 grams and, though they work fine, are not as accurate as .2 gram bbs. Overall, amazing gun.Pistol:
As with the rifle, I was very happy with the pistol. Although it is also made of plastic, it is sturdy and feels like it will not break easily. I’ll be honest, it’s a little hard to cock as there isn’t much of a grip. After a while, though, I’ve gotten used to it and the weird grip. Although this gun is more accurate with .2 gram bbs, it shoots way farther with .12 gram bbs and I recommend you use it that way.Packaging:
This isn’t a huge factor, but its an important one none the less. I always hate it when companies use a lot of plastic and packaging for small items. It’s a waste of resources and is unnecessary. The packaging for this set of guns, however, is minimal and uses mostly Styrofoam and cardboard, which I’m happy about! If you’re looking for another basic spring airsoft gun, I recommend the BBTac Pistol Uzi. It shoots very far and is extremely accurate when using .2 gram bbs. I will post its link at the bottom of this review.
Very happy with my purchase! Mahalo e GameFace! -Joseph A.
Trending Review: I decided it was time to teach my children gun safety. These work perfectly for that task! They are true to size but extremely light (flimsy plastic) but it worked in their favor. I was able to use these to teach proper handling of firearms and the basics of firing the weapon safely. They’re weak enough to target practice inside but powerful enough to puncture printer paper targets (and leave welts on skin through jeans from twenty feet away). Both the pistol and the rifle worked perfectly and the single shot spring mechanisms are great because we don’t have to worry about batteries or CO2 cartridges. For the price, I’m very happy with this product. Once they’re trained and I feel as though they are ready, we will invest more into PPE and more advanced airsoft guns. Until then, these work great! -The T-Rav
Reassuring Review: This is what I’d call a hybrid toy in that it’s very nearly NOT a toy. At 400 ft/sec it is something to be handled carefully and I for one like that. It is allowing me to educate my grandson on the proper use and abuse of a weapon. No, it isn’t going to kill anyone but it could damage an eye or sting if hit. It also has site adjustments that permit me to discuss setting proper aim. Don’t know yet how accurate the toy or the adjustments are but again, it’s a good introductory learning tool. Rifle is predictably more accurate than the pistol. Kids were hitting old Coke cans at 7 yards with the rifle. Couldn’t do that a 5ft with the pistol. -IndyMike
7. Crosman CLGY1000KT Air Rifle

Highlight: Durable and powerful, the Crosman CLGY1000KT offers versatile shooting with its multi-pump design and included scope.
Constructive Review: I am very surprised by the accuracy and power, especially at this price. I bought it to control the squirrels in my yard, thinking a little sting from a bb would scare them away. Instead of a little sting, this thing puts them down! I’ve only shot two squirrels, but the others have disappeared too. I haven’t even tried a pellet yet, I couldn’t imagine the damage I could do with one. I am very happy with this purchase! -Shane P
Trending Review: I’m back for my second. So that tells you something about customer satisfaction. Here, I will briefly address longevity.
I bought my first, some years ago, towards the disposal of a certain noxious mammal which I have dubbed the “garden shark”, both for its shark’s eyes and its capacity for destruction of decorative vegetation. Anyone who is a gardener needs no further elaboration.
Suffice to say that this baby, with the proper ammo, has played its part in the eternal vigil splendidly. It lacks nothing but a more accurate shooter than I am.
One might wish for greater durability, but not at this price. My first lasted through one whole can of pellets and on into the second. So that’s about 540-550 shots, involving roughly 3500 pumps (lubricated once). Then the trigger cocking mechanism failed — and here I am, happy to buy another, and carry on the good fight against the furball enemy. -C Jolliffe
Reassuring Review: For a pump style air rifle in this price range I am really impressed with its power at only 3 pumps. When I got it I tried several shots in the garage just to make sure everything works and it was fine.
Decided to try it at 30 ft to see how accurate it is using only the built in iron sights, and with .177 pellets. I was astounded that I could place the shots within a 2 inch circle without doing any adjustments at all.
With 3 pumps it puts a nice dent in a plywood backstop, completely flattening the pellet. -John Dinger
8. Crosman 760P Air Rifle

Highlight: Lightweight and versatile, the Crosman 760P offers easy pumping and reliable accuracy for beginners.
Constructive Review: Hello, way back in the 1970s when I was a teenager like so many other teens that were not sports inclined I was having issues with my coordination, so mt Daddy bought me a Crossman 760 .177 bb/pellet rifle. This product probably did more for my Eye/Hand coordination than any exercise ever would. I’m right handed, so using my left hand to operate the pump action to pump up the rifle while at the same time with my left hand holding the rifle and loading a bb or pellet, then aiming/shooting. It was great. I used it so muck that I actually wore that first one out and went on to a Crossman 766 which was basically the same thing just a little fancier, and I got so good with this rifle that I could shoot squirrels. So fast forward to 2024 and everyone in my neighborhood is complaining about the groundhogs that had moved into our neighborhood, so I looked around and ended up buying this Crossman rifle and am now actively trying to get a shot at those same groundhogs. The Crossman 760/760P is by far the best hand pump air rifle. -Lightkeeper
Trending Review: Nice for the prices!
I just received this kit two days ago and so far I’m loving it.
To be clear, I ordered to kit with bbs, pellets, safety glasses, scope and targets. Everything showed up as promised. Pellets were of the flat nosed variety and copper bbs. Spent an afternoon blasting away till I ran out of both pellets and bbs. Both seemed of decent quality.
The scope is another matter. It Is plastic so any time in the sun/heat will cause it to warp slightly, which is where I believe a lot of people’s problems come from. Its not a lot,, but enough to cause problems.. Once the scoped warmed up in the sun, I couldn’t get the elevation to adjust enough to really zero in. The horizontal was easy enough.
The iron sights are pretty good. I can ping table spoons at 10 meters all day with them.As for the gun itself, it’s pretty good for a beginner’s gun. Simple, easy to use and light. It’s a little too small for my body size (6 ft), but still fun. The grip, stock and body are ABS plastic, but all important parts are metal. I did have trouble loading bbs. The version I got has the loading port in the bottom of the grip on the stock. You flip a slide door to reveal the port. I would have liked to see a built in funnel of some kind there, but that’s fairly minor.
If I were to change anything about this kit, I’d swap the scope for a storage bag or cleaning kit.
I also want to point out this is a smooth bore, not rifled so range is limited. I would see pellets curve off to the side often. Bbs were a little better.
Still, a great purchase and would recommend it as a first gun hands down. Just be ready for a workout pumping cause you won’t want to put it down. -M Thompson
Reassuring Review: This is a great little pellet rifle, and for the cost you absolutely cannot go wrong here. Single shot for .177 cal pellets, fired HPs no issue in my quick 3-pump test. This thing can take *10* pumps which i almost don’t believe but thats definitely no small amount of power so be advised this is no kids toy. It IS however a perfect intro tool to the basics of safe marksmanship, which was what my intent was for the rifle in purchasing. 10/10 will buy again! -Halcyon_Days
