1. AXIL XCOR PRO Wireless Earbuds Bluetooth

Highlight: Advanced noise cancellation with crystal-clear sound and all-day comfort, built for shooting and outdoor performance.
Supportive Review: I bought these for ear protection while shooting. I wore them on the Turkey hunt this spring and it’s crazy how good the hearing enhancement is. I had to try different sizes of the foams to get my size correct and these are the first ear buds that stay in my ears. Every other I’ve tried just fall out,so I’ve been using over the ear type for years at the gym. The Xcor Pro are so comfortable that I forget that I’m wearing them.
The bluetooth audio sound quality is the best I’ve heard and the protection while shooting works perfectly. It does take a bit to get used to the hearing enhancement. The outdoors make a lot of noise that you didn’t know was there. You can hear everything. Even small streams will seem loud. There is what some people call a hissing sound when you have the enhancement on. I have over 30 years of Audio experience and can tell you that is completely normal when you are increasing the volume of something that doesn’t have the energy to make it loud. You get used to it pretty quickly and your brain will learn to filter it out to the point that you will check to see if the enhancement is still on. I highly recommend these for Shooting, Hunting, or just wearing them for Music. -Dave
2. GLORYFIRE Shooting Ear Protection Earplugs

Highlight: GLORYFIRE Shooting Ear Protection Earplugs deliver powerful noise reduction with all-day comfort, making them ideal for both the range and the field.
Supportive Review: Wore my Gloryfire earbuds to the range for first time today. It’s an indoor range. I was pleasantly surprised to find the Gloryfire earbuds performed awesomely. I personally feel they outperformed the Peltor Sport Tactical 500 that I had been using. The Gloryfire buds were extremely comfortable, audio (speech) was clear. The size of the earbuds is just right for me. I used the small ear inserts. I like the fact that you can purchase additional ear inserts. Muting of the sharp loud noises was superb. The controls are straight forward and logical. The convenience of carrying and wearing the Gloryfire buds was well worth the cost paid. I am glad to have found the Gloryfire earbuds. The only question now is durability and only time and consistent use can determine how robust they are. So far I am extremely happy and satisfied with these safety earbuds. -James
3. ISOtunes Sport Caliber BT Shooting Ear Protection

Highlight: ISOtunes Sport Caliber BT delivers high-performance Bluetooth hearing protection with Tactical Sound Control™, giving shooters crystal-clear audio and advanced noise reduction in any environment.
Supportive Review: I’ve been using these for two weeks now and I’m glad to find ear pro that can keep up!
As a 3-gun shooter and match director I wanted ear pro that was secure, comfortable, wireless, could protect well enough with my competition rifle (with muzzle break), and play music/take phone calls while doing match setup and stage reset. These deliver!! I was also excited to discover they have two levels of impact noise suppression. Slower fire allows safe sound to still be heard, like shooting rifle steel at distance, while faster fire completely cuts out loud noise, like shooting a plate rack with my pistol. These react to the specific hearing needs of the situation and either limit noise in short bursts, or completely cut out all noise in continuous fire arrays. Recovery is fast in either case, so I can still hear what I need to, but avoid what I don’t.
Being in competition, I’m usually wearing ear pro for 6-12 hours at a time. Having a device that can protect when I’m the shooter, but also play music when I’m just resetting is a game changer. It’s only been a few weeks but I’ve never had the battery die, even when used for 11 hours straight.
Getting a good fit is not too bad, as long as I get these seated all the way into my ear. Inserting into my ear and then rotating down they seem to lock in place. I think some reviews about low volume and bad protection are probably not seating these as recommended. The max volume is almost too loud when inserted correctly, and 7 different sizes of ear tips made it easy to get a good sound seal.
The touch pad took a little getting used to but I’m pretty good at it now. I can use Siri to make phone calls without getting my phone out. I wish they worked better with gloves, but that’s another story. I also like that they automatically pair with my phone after the initial setup.
Synopsis: Ultra secure, great audio quality, unique sound suppression, great price, and super long battery life make these a solid choice for those that shoot a lot! -Topher
4. AXIL GS Extreme 2.0 Shooting Ear Buds

Highlight: AXIL GS Extreme 2.0 Shooting Ear Buds combine electronic hearing protection, Bluetooth audio, and crystal-clear sound enhancement in one all-day comfortable design.
Supportive Review: The first time I brought these to the range I was skeptical. I had them on when I got out of the car because I was at an outdoor range. I still remember thinking to myself “I really hope these work” when I opened my car door stood up and slammed it shut. At that moment I had to pause and do a double take. I had just shut my car door and it didn’t even make a sound. I immediately thought ” I must not have shut it all the way” and went to grab my car door and close it properly. Only to realize that my car door was working fine. This product was simply just doing its job, it canceled out the noise of my car door slamming shut. Which immediately put any suspicions I had of the product not working to rest. I proceeded to shoot multiple different firearms in the presence of people firing theirs all around me and my ears felt just fine. I was able to hold conversations with them on as well, the noise amplification and cancelation are perfect. Now I need to buy more of these as gifts for my relatives. -Joey
5. ISOtunes Free 2.0 Bluetooth Hearing Protection Earbuds

Highlight: ISOtunes Free 2.0 delivers wireless freedom with Bluetooth connectivity, professional-grade hearing protection, and all-day comfort for shooters.
Supportive Review: Very good sound and noise cancellation! I wear these while mowing with a large zero turn and it definately cuts the loud sound as well as disposable ear plugs and I can listen to my music! These buds have as good, possibly better sound than my Samsung buds! Makes hours of mowing enjoyable. You do have to follow the instructions and use the proper earpiece, squish them down like disposable ear plugs so they close off your ear canal. Batter life seems good, I have used them for 3-4 hours and still have plenty of battery. -David G
6. Raycon Fitness Bluetooth True Wireless Earbuds

Highlight: Raycon Fitness Bluetooth True Wireless Earbuds deliver sweat-resistant, high-quality sound with a secure, comfortable fit for active lifestyles.
Supportive Review: Ive have these a little over a year now, they are absolutely my favorite ear buds by far, the sound great with good bass, the battery life has not diminished at all the range is perfect at work. The noise cancelation is great even at lower volumes as ive taken these shooting at my ear pro many times. If I had 1 complaint its the case gets a little scuffed while in a pocket with other items but thats also to be expected, i would 100% buy these again i recommend them to friends looking for something good without breaking the bank. -Steven Bishop
7. Caldwell E-MAX Shadows 23 NRR

Highlight: Advanced electronic noise-cancelling earbuds with a high 23 NRR rating, delivering clear ambient awareness and ultimate hearing protection for shooters.
Supportive Review: I duck hunt, deer hunt and trap shoot and have tried a half dozen products to protect my ears from muffs to a few other under $100 in-ear buds. So far, these are the best ones I’ve found. The foam inserts are very comfortable, and I’ve worn them on 6-8 hour hunts with no soreness or ear fatigue. The ambient noise amplification works well and is bidirectional. It will amplify wind noise to some extent, all electronic protection do, but wearing a hood and putting it up will reduce wind noise by 90%. Duck calling is just fine once you practice and get the mechanics of it figured out. The biggest secondary benefit to these are the Bluetooth capability so you can also use them around the house while running power tools or mowing and enjoy a podcast or music. The battery is good for about 6 hours and it seems to take about an hour to recharge them fully, so plan on charging them while eating lunch or whenever you won’t be shooting and they last the whole day just fine.
The only con I’ve had so far was I briefly had trouble pairing them for a few minutes after having used them for awhile. Not sure what happened but a reset/re-pair to my iPhone took care of that and it hasn’t happened since.
Overall, these are a really great set of ear protection for their price. No, they will not be the same as not wearing ear pro, nothing is, but you also won’t blow out your hearing by age 50. Ear pro is worth it to me and these are the best $100ish option I’ve found so far. -Nick B
8. Walker’s Silencer Wireless

Highlight: Premium wireless earbuds with advanced noise-cancelling technology designed for clear, safe shooting experiences.
Supportive Review: Picked these up for a shooting school and they have performed very well. The NRR is as promised and the shots were cut off as described but I could still hear conversations and instructions from the range master. The tips are a bit awkward to insert but if you reach across the top of your head and lift your ear while also pulling rearward, the tip goes in and seats correctly just like regular foam plugs. Once the foam expands, the sounds outside are nicely deadened to where you can barely hear anyone talking. I flipped the switch on the left-ear piece first and adjusted the volume after hearing the chime tones. Then I turned the left-ear piece off and adjusted the right ear-piece the same way. Then I turned both ear pieces on and made minor adjustments to balance the sound. The case and included tool plus two batteries were a very nice touch. The local Walmart has these batteries on the rack, so they are pretty easy to obtain.
There have been complaints about the batteries dying after a few hours use, but this hasn’t been my experience. My batteries were still going strong after the four-day class. Each day was 7 to 8 hours in length (28 – 32 hours use total). These were the batteries that came with the ear piece set. I checked the ear piece about 10 days later. Although the switch was off, the batteries were dead, so the 80 hour lifetime is probably pretty good estimate. The key to good battery life is to activate the batteries correctly before installing them. Do one ear piece at a time. Remove the plastic sticker by peeling it off then let the battery sit of at least one minute to fully activate. Insert the activated battery into the battery holder and close the door. Then reinstall the silicone ear hook and the foam ear piece. Repeat on the other ear piece. If you do not do it this way, the battery will not work properly and will probably die after a few hours. -Erik
9. GOLREX Active Noise Cancelling Ear Buds

Highlight: Deliver crystal-clear sound with powerful noise cancellation, perfect for focused shooting sessions.
Supportive Review: I am truly satisfied with these. Since I bought them, I’ve been using them every day and they have really impressed me with their quality. The noise cancellation works wonderfully I can enjoy my music or podcasts without distractions, even in noisy places like the gym.
The battery life is outstanding, lasting much longer than I expected. With the 80 hours of playtime and the LED display charging case, I always know how much power I have left, and I never run out of music at important moments.
Another feature I loved is how comfortable they are to wear thanks to the over-ear hooks; they don’t move at all, even when I’m running or doing intense workouts. Plus, the wireless charging option is super convenient.
Overall, I feel this was an excellent purchase: great sound quality, long battery life, and perfect for sports or everyday use. Highly recommended! -Stevan Rivera
10. ISOtunes Xtra 2.0 Earplugs Earbuds

Highlight: Superior hearing protection with crystal-clear audio, designed for shooters and noisy environments.
Supportive Review: Bought these at same time as isotunes headphones, which I returned because they were too heavy and tight. These are the second set of earbuds ftom Isotunes I’ve purchased and they work great. These 2.0 I like a little better because the control buttons are bigger and easier to use especially when you’re in the middle of something in the shop and you have to access the controls. They are comfortable and the sound is fine for me. I am hoping the battery will last longer than the first pair but they did last several years. All in all I’m happy with the purchase. -Joey
11. Elgin Discord Gen 2 Bluetooth Earplugs

Highlight: Advanced noise cancellation with seamless Bluetooth connectivity for crystal-clear audio on the range.
Supportive Review: Great sound, a great product and amazing customer service! The Elgin Discord’s won’t leave you disappointed. They are similar to another brand (PF Fones) but their customer service is superb and the product feels like it will take all the abuse I will have for it. Thanks again Elgin, I recommend these to anyone working in a loud environment that likes to listen to Music and or Podcasts and still retain the ability to use their phone for the calls that we may have to answer for the job we are doing. I had a few issues but it was not because of anything wrong with the head phones and their customer service went above and beyond for me, which seems to be something many companies are willing to sacrifice in today’s e-commerce world. Thanks again. Buy the Discord’s, you won’t be disappointed. I did purchase the foam tips because I do not find the silicone tips in any earplugs to be quite as comfortable as foam. -Rich Peek
12. Decibullz – Custom Molded Earplugs

Highlight: Personalized, heat-molded fit for superior comfort and maximum noise protection.
Supportive Review: These work better than I expected, and for the price, you can’t find anything much better. I bought these or trap shooting because my ear muffs were keeping me from getting a good cheek weld on my gun stock. These were easy to mold to my ear after soaking in hot water and they work great. I use the foam inserts in order to get maximum hearing protection, and they really do the job and offer every bit as much hearing protection as high-priced ear muffs or other forms of hearing protection. (At some gun shows, there are vendors who will pour form into your ear to make custom ear protection that is somewhat similar to these, and those earplugs might be a bit more comfortable than these, but they also cost $50.) So far, I have shot 2000 rounds of 12 gauge shotgun with them and I have no complaints, other than that they can get a little bit uncomfortable in the ear canal after an hour or so because you have to push them into the canal pretty hard to get a good tight seal against sound.
But, it’s a small price to pay to have nearly invisible hearing protection at the highest level of protection. I do NOT find that the foam ear pieces pull off the stem that it sits on like one person has indicated. So far, everything is staying where it should and I have taken them in and out several times. I would note that although they come out of the box with an “R” and an “L” stamped on the outside of each one to indicate which one is for the Right and Left ear, that stamped letter will disappear completely once you put them in hot water and mold them to your ear. But, I simply took a black magic marker and drew a small “R” and “L” on each one and I have no trouble telling the right and left one apart. I plan to buy a second pair just to have as a backup in case I lose one. -Methew
