1. SIG SAUER Romeo5 1X20mm Gun Sight

SIG SAUER Romeo5 1X20mm Gun Sight

Headlight: Compact, rugged, and ultra-reliable—the SIG SAUER Romeo5 1x20mm delivers crystal-clear optics with motion-activated illumination for rapid target acquisition.

Constructive Review: So I actually bought this a few years ago. I put it on my duty AR. I really didn’t use it except once a year to qualify at the range. I keep the cover on to keep the glass from getting scratched. Recently I bought a new gun and it came with no sights. I took the riser off of this and placed it on that gun to try it out.

The battery even after being in my car all this time is fine. After adjusting for windage and elevation it worked great on my new 10/22 charger. Playing with the adjustments was not too difficult after getting the caps off. Put the dot where you want the bullet to go and it was dead on even if I looked at it through weird angles.

I normally use iron sights but this convinced me to re-think that. I am considering putting this in my 22/45 next. Sight acquisition is faster the more you use it.

Long battery life. Ease of use and it has both the riser and low mount so can work with pistol or rifle. The price is right and even on low settings works outside in the sun.
Better than night sights in the house for home defense and you can shoot with both eyes open.

It’s durable. I had this mounted and banged around in my patrol car a lot. It still looks like new. And it functions flawlessly.
I will say this. It is designed by Sig Sauer but says right on the body of it made in china. Still what works, works. -Miles Juelfs

Trending Review: There are so many “fake” red dots out there, so I checked it out thoroughly when it arrived and it’s the real deal. Its extremely accurate and easily holds zero with use on my AR. I even used on my AR10 a couple of mags, and I did just fine. Clarity is good and is much lighter than my Vortex Strikefire II. So far it has been just as good as the Holosun 403. BTW, if you didn’t already know, Holosun and Sig Sauer Romeo 5 are made in the same factory so 🙂 This is a good optic for the money and this is a good seller. -William J.

Reassuring Review: So first, I purchased this red dot because it was cheap. I have an AK that ive shot maybe twice for a total of 20-30 rounds. My plan was to put an optic on it so I could run for a while since I got a ton of 762×39. I have a number of holosuns and wanted something different and didn’t feel like breaking the bank on an Aimpoint so the Romeo 5 fit the bill.

I took it to the range and was having issues matching up the sights with the red dot and still hitting zero when I noticed the sights on my AK are slightly canted making my groups hit about 8 inches to the left of the point of aim at 100 yards. Of course Arsenal doesn’t want to own up to it without me paying to ship it and fix it.

I told them no thanks. Since then I’ve run maybe 1200 rounds through it and bypass the iron sights. No POI shift, flickering or anything. Last weekend I put it on a Stribog and once again it worked fine. I’ve hd it a few months now and have not turned it off. I keep it set around the mid brightness level. What I really like about this optic is that it comes with two mounts.

So far I’ve been running the low mount exclusively but it’s nice to know I have the tall one as well in case I run it on something else. As for the negatives… I don’t find it particularly attractive as the logo is a little on the large size. In addition the front lense is very reflective which gives the optic just a little bit of tint. It’s not a huge issue but at dusk it is a bit darker than a holosun or T1.

Otherwise I think think this optic is a great value for what it is. I don’t anticipate taking this thing into battle anywhere so I don’t need something crazy durable as it’s durable enough with me bumping it around when I run drills. If I need a battle ready optic I’ll run an Aimpoint or eotech but for range trips and drills and normal stuff it’s just fine. -W. Cruz

2. Feyachi 2MOA Red Dot Sight

Feyachi 2MOA Red Dot Sight

Highlight: Feyachi 2MOA Red Dot Sight: Ultra-precise, fast target acquisition with rugged reliability for all shooting conditions.

Constructive Review: I am happy with this sight. As a whole the weight especially with the skeletonized riser helps a lot.

My setup has a gas piston and that inherently adds weight and also forward so far needed to be trimmed elsewhere so to speak.

To the sight, I bought this as an aid for my home defense rifle for better lining up the sights. The sights are an absolute cowitness, some videos online might show lower third but, I have absolute cowitness with my Magpul mbus rear and a Midwest Industries fixed front sight on the rail.

The on/off button has great tactile and click when pressed, the brightness buttons are the same way.

The covers for the sight adjustment has an o-ring and helps keep the mechanism clean. The covers also has a raised portion to be used for dot adjustment in case you don’t have a flat head screwdriver.

Positive and clicks when adjusting makes corrections reliable.

I do not have any night vision what so ever; so I can’t speak on the night vision claim.

The auto on/off I haven’t engaged. From what I’ve read sometimes gets turned in by walking by, and with my heavy steps and the occasional 2 or 3 magnitude earthquake (yay California) I rather save battery life.

It did arrive with a hard case box and the honeycomb flash suppression was on, one of the combs was bent and it’s more noticeable from the front, but not through the sight. It’s honestly not an issue, I don’t see it so even better.

Great red dot for the price, just for its intended purpose. With the features I use, the price is appropriate, the night vision and auto on/off is just extra gravy. -K. Collamat

Trending Review: Nice light weight add-on to my AR platform. Feels solid and well made. Have not had a chance to use it in the field yet due to illness. I purchased this item March 5, 2021 and only within the last 2 weeks attempted to mount it and use it.

Although I liked everything about the scope, I could not adjust the red dot nor see it through the eye piece. The scope does illuminate when activated but the Red Dot was off out in the weeds. After writing a note to Luacs at the Customer Satisfaction Team I received an immediate response and submitted detail photos of the view through the scope. Bottom line I received a replacement, NEW Scope within 6 business days and an email expressing apologies.

I have to say that in this is the best response from a seller for any product I have purchased. Luacs at Feyachi kept me informed and was very responsive. I received a brand new replacement scope today in less than 3 business days. I could not be happier and am very satisfied with this seller and the product. Thanks Feyachi for your diligence and commitment to customer satisfaction. -Ray

Reassuring Review: I order a V30 for my AR-15 and received 2pcs from Amazon.
I approached Amazon to return the 2nd one and they said I could keep it.
I decided to use the 2nd one on my shotgun.

Upon installation I noticed that the thread on the small male part that tightens the Co-Witness Mount to the Picatinny rail that had stripped.

I did not want to send it back to Amazon for a replacement as I essentially received it for free, so I reached out to Feyachi to see if I could purchase the stripped part only.

Lisa at Feyachi did her due diligence by getting me to give her my Amazon Order # and send her photos of the damaged item.

To my surprise, Feyachi replaced the ENTIRE V30 Red Dot. Amazing After Sales Service.
As for the V30, I am impressed with how it held zero on the AR-15. Will provide feedback once I have the other on installed on the Shotgun. -Edward Oliver

3. Feyachi Reflex Sight

Feyachi Reflex Sight

Headlight: Fast target acquisition with 4 reticle options and unlimited eye relief—Feyachi Reflex Sight delivers precision at an unbeatable value.

Constructive Review: If you’re stuck on the quality of a $300 sight then this is obviously not for you. I bought this for the simple fact it was cheap and had decent reviews. Like people keep saying, you get what you pay for.

I have this mounted to a 9pcc. It’s a range toy and used for plinking. Gotta couple hundred rounds through it with no complaints really. I knew what I was getting myself into!

There is a knob that kinda “scrolls” thru the different optic styles. It makes me wonder if playing with this will throw off the accuracy. But so far it hasn’t. Which really surprises me to be honest.

One of the biggest things I like is how large of a view you get. I like this MUCH better than ALL my other rifle optics I spent WAY more on. The mass of the exterior is minimal too which to me helps with sight acquisition. I’m on target much faster and don’t feel like I have to “look around” the outside edges of the thicker style dots.

But again! This is only for plinking. I would not trust this for a piece I needed for defense or would I expect to hold up to thousands of rounds. It worked for what I intended it too. -Jim Stoops

Trending Review: First of all, I like this reflex sight. It’s size, weight, stout construction, functionality, and price is hard to beat. The field of view is more than adequate for fast target acquisition, plus various reticle brightness settings allow preferences in different light conditions. Combined with a variety of reticle choices and the fore mentioned features, it’s very hard to outclass this sight given its price range. And it looks cool on an AR-15 or variant rifle. Has to look cool.

As rifle owners and builders add components, functionality and gadgets to their builds, rifle weight increases. Personally, I’m concerned with weight. However, weight aside, besides the rifle itself, the sighting system is critical in the build.

The sight must function according to the shooters requirements and provide accurate placement at various ranges. The RS-30 in my opinion provides excellent sighting in a compact, lightweight, easy to use package that doesn’t add unnecessary functionality and weight, such as lasers. Sighting in the reticle is accomplished using the provided wrenches. Reticle lock down is provided. Regardless of eye position, the retical holds target adequately. Iron backup sights work exceptional well through the lens.

Construction is robust. The hood is stout providing a glare shield and should protect the lens area quite well. Rail attachment is good given the overall weight and profile of the sight. This is all accomplished by not creating a huge lump on top of a rifle keeping the overall profile of an AR-15 quite low and attractive. Looks cool. My opinion’ a good job Feyachi.

Electronics provide the on-off button location for a right-hand shooter’s support hand operation. Strong side left hand shooters should be able to adapt to this location with practice. The reticle selection lever is located in a protected position however easy to reach and adjust. Battery storage is good plus provides a coin operated cover for easy removal. Batteries are readily available at local stores I’ve not tested the one-hour auto-power shut-off feature. Battery removal may need to be revisited.

To my Feyachi friends, a couple of suggestions to improve on an already good sight. My suggestions would no-doubt add price to the optic however would significantly increase the reliability, desirability and overall functionality of the optic. This optic can compete with much more expensive optics.

First, a positive ‘click’ positioning lever on the reticle selection feature would insert the reticle precisely in the lens eliminating minor adjustments to center the reticle
Second, windage and elevation adjustments would be more convenient with coin operated adjustment screw; currently the operator must always have the adjustment wrench available. Watch out for painted directions on the optic as some builders paint their rifles.
Third, add a quick rail attach or detach feature protected from unintended release.

Lastly, and no-doubt the most costly improvement is providing some degree of waterproofing to the electronics and lens.
Given the existing sight and with these improvements, I would not have an issue paying more. Plus this sight could complete with optics costing hundreds of dollars more.

Thank you for the opportunity to provide you my personal feedback to your RS-30 Reflex sight. -Richard Harrold

Reassuring Review: I purchased 3 of these, the first went on a 22. It didn’t have features that I thought were critical – the first being an auto-off feature. Virtually everything I buy needs to have this feature, unless it’s supposed to have it. This worked well.

The next generation had that feature, and for $40 seemed perfect. And so far, it has been. I mounted and sighted it on a 223/556 bullpup. Multiple brightness settings worked perfectly. Horizontal and vertical setting worked the same.

The next rifle to get one is my Sig Sauer Cross in a 6.5 Creedmoor. Although this gun was slated to get a long distance scope, I wanted to see how it would perform with a red dot sight. After running approximately 95 rounds through it, I can say 1) through all shots, it held up and stayed true; 2; accuracy was excellent through 50 yards (50 yards is the length of the range, and 3) there was no loss of visibility through multiple shooters,

I know there probably are “better” red dots” out there. But if you are like me, and don’t hunt or shoot 3 times or more a week, and want a nicely competent scope, you could do worse than this Feyachi. If you don’t want a scope that makes you get a college degree in optics and physics, but one that is easy to use, set up and shoot with, consider this one. It worked for me, and that’s pretty much all I need. -Clark

4. CVLIFE 1X22X33 Gun Sight

CVLIFE 1X22X33 Gun Sight

Highlight: Quick-aiming precision meets durability with the CVLIFE 1X22X33 Reflex Sight—perfect for fast target acquisition in any shooting scenario.

Constructive Review: I bought this sight in 2022 and never looked back. An EXCELLENT CHOICE with versatility that’s second to none, and better than many with it’s Dot, Circle/Dot, Crosshair/Dot and Crosshair/Circle/Dot combination of sighting pictures/reflections! As well, you get your choice of 5 different brightness settings in either red or green. Settings low enough to see any of them at dusk/night clearly, to super bright so you can see them in the sun light! Runs on a CR2032 battery sold everywhere… and my original btty that came with it 3 years ago is still powering it as bright as the day I got it! It’s sat for several months at different times in the off position and has never failed once.

I see a LOT of bad reviews claiming folks have zeroed it in with a laser bore/chamber sight and then claimed they couldn’t hit the broad side of barn. I think MOST of the complainers have no clue how to check their laser bore/chamber zeroing equipment for true zero and that is the reason they can’t hit the broad side of a barn with their firearm!!! Just because it says “Bore Sight” for sighting in your scopes and red dot or iron sights etc DOESN’T MEAN *it* is properly zeroed in to begin with. Why do you think you must zero in your scopes or red dot sights? Because many aren’t truly zeroed in at the factory after how many thousands pass down the line! Think about that for a minute relative to laser bore-sighting equipment.

Do your home work guys and gals! Learn how to check your test/alignment/zeroing equipment to be sure it’s at it’s optimal best before you go blaming another piece of equipment that relies on *that* piece of equipment you’re ASSUMING is perfect in the first place! This red dot sight is very accurate once setup and zeroed in with properly tested sighting-in equipment that’s truly zeroed before hand. Almost *every* reviewer that’s complained admits the sighting/zeroing process is repeatable. Doesn’t that tell you something!?!?

This sight is no different than the $200-400 sights in quality and craftsmanship, except those manufacturers have taken the time to be sure it’s zeroed in at the factory level so you’ll PAY their asking price as they constantly/consistently check their factory testing/zeroing equipment over and over. That costs time and money that your paying extra for with VERY few exceptions on the market. Those exceptions are generally red dot *scopes* with coated optics that magnify etc. This red dot sight as others have corrected reviewers about, *IS NOT A SCOPE*! It’s a clear piece of ground glass that the internal light producing the red dot you see is reflected on! Therefore it’s a sight that serves the same purpose as iron sights.

I own three different CVLIFE brand sighting pieces of equipment, 2 rifle scopes and this red dot sight. Every one of them are high quality sights for the money that do what they’re designed to do if/when properly set up. No they’re not $5k Zeiss scopes etc, but as others have said, you get what you pay for as a rule of thumb. But I’m here to say their ARE exceptions, and CVLIFE is one of those exceptions IMHO.

One CVLIFE scope I own is mounted on a 5.56 AR-15, one on a .458 SOCOM AR-15, and this red dot currently on a 12GA bullpup shotgun with a 20″ smooth bore barrel that puts slugs inside a 3” circle at 50 yards all day long! For what they cost, I can’t say enough good about CVLIFE products at this point. I’m a private individual that was not promised, given, or-coerced in any way for my 2¢ worth of opinion stated here.

I payed retail price for these out of my own pocket just as most of you have and I’m *NOT* affiliated with CVLIFE, or any other company for that matter. This is MY own 2¢ worth of opinion. Take it for what it’s worth. I’m just tired of people bad mouthing things because they don’t know what they’re talking about, doing, or even how to do things correctly. I see this mentality *everywhere* and just got tired of it, so I stated my opinion! You don’t have to like or even agree with it! ..but if you’ve read this far, then I thank you for your time and interest.

So there you have it! Ignore those that don’t do as noted above and have nothing good to say because of their own lack of knowledge about what they’re doing, their own shortcomings, or how to do things properly. This is a good red dot sight when properly adjusted and set up with properly tested and known good setup equipment. Get someone that knows what they’re doing to set it up if you don’t. Not everything’s perfect in life and their are flawed units out there, but far *more* than 16k people bought this red dot sight and folks are still buying it. They can’t all be wrong! …and only 16k of ’em left a review! Go figure!!!

Get yourself one or two of these sights and get it/them set up properly! I promise, you won’t regret it. …Enjoy! -Andy

Trending Review: I’ve had a couple of red dots that were nearly identical to this for many years that was sold under a different brand name. They were about $20 each back when I bought them. They were a good value, but I needed a smaller dot with less of a parallax issue. (I was having an issue with accuracy shooting at a target that was about the size of the dot… at a longer distance).

This CVLife appears to be identical except it seems to be a much more robust build and has a nice small dot (and less of a parallax issue).

One little problem… when I got the dot adjusted where I liked it, and I used the small hex key to lock down the adjustment, it would change the windage about an inch (to the right, I believe). No big problem though. Knowing that, I just had to loosen it and adjust it the OPPOSITE way enough until it was hitting about an inch too far to the left. THEN… when I tightened it down it was hitting exactly where I wanted it to!

Time will tell whether I will have an issue with battery life (I didn’t have any problem at all with the old ones like this, but I always choose the simple small dot instead of the larger reticles… and that may help to decrease the rate of battery drain) I can hit the target with better precision now, the cost was NICE &LOW… and thus far I am very pleased! -T. Riffic

Reassuring Review: So either you’re stinking that it was just going to be a scope, and nothing more nothing less. But why was I wrong and I’m glad I was the craftsmanship of this thing is amazing. The durability is amazing and the scope itself is of high-quality I was not expecting, much of anything really so when I opened the world packaged product My expectations were blown away.

They even included batteries, 2 of them! I will definitely buy in the near future more of these or of similar ones from this company. Glad to find a product on Amazon that actually is beyond my expectations for the price definitely restored a little bit of my faith in Amazon and its sellers. Thanks a bunch! -Alexander White

5. Feyachi RDS-22 2 MOA Red Dot Gun Sight

Feyachi RDS 22 2 MOA Red Dot Gun Sight

Headlight: Crisp 2 MOA accuracy, rock-solid build, and unbeatable value—meet the Feyachi RDS-22 Red Dot Sight.

Constructive Review: Obviously, with the price point there was a certain stereotype that came with this red dot. It came in a plain black box but was neatly packaged in styrofoam. There was a small pamphlet with directions, a lens wipe, and two allen wrenches (one hex and one torx). Everything had a tight cutout in the styrofoam and came undamaged.

The weight of the Red Dot was typical to the others in its class and felt more robust than anticipated. Considering the optic was only $50, we had little faith in its capability, but they sent it to us and by golly we were going to review it.

As you can see in our video review we put it through a few rounds, zeroed the little guy and then commenced with playing with it. Attaching it was simple, but our first issue reared it’s ugly head and we thought it was the first failure of many. The hex screw stripped when tightened and it just made the entire process just a little annoying.

However, it went on the weapon and functioned just fine. Zeroing was super easy, just take the covers off and get a flat head and turn in the desired direction. Took about 9 rounds to zero and we were in business. From our video you can see that we threw it around, dropped it on itself, and literally beat it and to our surprise, the optic not only continued to function, but it also held its zero!!!

We were pleasantly surprised at this little guy’s performance. We put about 1,000 rounds through it and there were no issues. We will continue to review this little guy with more rounds and update this review as we progress. However, if you’re on the fence about getting this red dot, go ahead and get it. It’s affordable, but by no means is it cheap. This is and actual red dot and can hold a zero for a 5.56. It’s absolutely well worth the money and it won’t disappoint. -Richard

Trending Review: Received this red dot on time and opened the package. I was pleasantly surprised at the apparent quality and immediately put it on my Ruger MKIV Target pistol and headed to the range. It was easy to zero in but after maybe 25 shots the red dot disappeared. Turned it off then back on and there was the red dot. After 2 shots no red dot. Repeated turning off then back on several more times with same result.

Bottom line , I was very disappointed and considered sending it back for another. But, I didn’t want to take another chance and bought a slightly more expensive but tried and true red dot.
Update: Originally gave this 3 stars because it stopped working and I returned it.

The manufacturer contacted me and sent me another unit to evaluate. I really did think the first unit’s failure was not the norm. I initially installed this new unit on my Ruger .22 target pistol and used it at my weekly bullseye league. This red dot worked perfectly. Next I installed it on my 1911 .45ACP and fired 100 rounds of hard ball at the range. I had no problem .

The 2 moa red dot is about as round as I have seen and does not “flare” significantly at highest intensity. Adjustments are accurate, making zeroing in easy. I really like how low this sight sits on the mount. I would not hesitate to recommend this red dot to anyone. -Mitchell

Reassuring Review: Started a few years ago with one of these on my .22cal air rifle. Pumping 10x and firing hundreds of pellets, stupid accurate! Squirrels are no match!! So I bought this one for my AK, holds sub MOA groups at 100yds all day long. Multiple 30 rnd mag dumps, in/out of a vehicle, and drug thru briar thickets all deer season long! Still spot on, ready for deer season #2. And haven’t had to replace a battery in either unit yet! Love it!!! -Nic Avery

Trending Review: I decided to go with this Feyachi RDS-25 Red Dot sight on my first AR-15 build. Lots of good reviews here on Amazon and also some good youtube videos demonstrating this Red Dot sight’s quality were enough for me to plunk down the $40 to try it out. After getting it installed (with no iron sights yet), it functioned well and was easy to operate. Two CR2032 batteries are included. Yes, I said “two.” That was a nice touch. The 11 brightness settings are all useful, with the brightest “it goes to 11” working nice for sunlight. A bikini cover is also included, which is also a nice bonus. You also get a cleaning cloth, allen wrench and an adjustment screwdriver. It mounted directly and securely to my Picatinny rail.

Then I received an email from Feyachi asking if I was happy, and if not, to please let them know. Right about that time, I had a moment where the sight would not turn on, even though I had not used it for more than an hour on the battery. I decided to tighten the battery cap and that seemed to correct the problem. I did decide to reply to the email from Feyachi and asked what the expected battery life is. The response was quick and helpful – “5 days at the highest brightness setting.” OK, great, nice to know. I since haven’t had any problem with the sight not turning on, so I’m convinced it was the battery cap not being tight enough. However, it was great to see a company with good customer service.

Fast forward a few days and I have also purchased and installed the flip up sights from Feyachi to use as backup to the red dot. After installing the flip up sights and trying with and without the 1″ riser that was included with the red dot, I discovered that there was no co-witness at all. I could not see the iron sights through the red dot. So I emailed Feyachi to explain. Technically there was no defect, just not the compatibility I was hoping for from two items from the same company. Nevertheless, Feyachi made it right with great customer service.

For those that want to use this red dot with iron sights, be sure to get a .83″ riser. This provides absolute co-witness. I got the “UTG Med-pro Compact Riser Mount, 0.83″ High, 3 Slots” here on Amazon for $9. Once I installed the red dot with that, I had absolute co-witness. Normally, I would deduct a star for something like this, but their customer service made up for that.

You can’t go wrong with this sight. It is well made, waterproof, has good battery life and Feyachi stands behind their product. Not to mentioned the price! Well done, Feyachi. -Jeremy

Reassuring Review: I’m changing from 4 stars to 5. While the sight I recieved the first time was pretty dim. The customer service rep Pan was quick to send out a replacement. The new unit unfortunately was dimmer than the first. Jumping in to save the day, Pan’s communication was prompt, appologetic and curtious. I’ve dealt with so many companies, and Feyachi is honestly one of the best customer service experiences I’ve ever had.

Some sellers get a little bit irritated, or accusatory. Feyachi is a role model in customer service, and for that alone I am giving this 5 stars. They reached out to me from my review. They took the initiative, which is outstanding. The product didnt work out for me, but I had to express how good they were to work with. I also purchased a set of flip up sights from feyachi which were really good. Check for my review on that one. As far as the product goes, I’m not sure if I got 2 duds or what happened. I’d rate the product at 3 stars.

Enough for airsoft maybe, but I couldnt trust it on a real firearm. I whole heartedly cannot rate this 3 stars after the customer service I recieved. I will be trying out some of their other offerings to see if there is a better option for me, and I will come back to update. Give it a try, if it works out, great, if not, contact feyachi and they will take care of you. I’m very appreciate of this company standing behind what they sell, and treating the customer well. Thank you guys.

Update: since I wrote my review, a rep from Feyachi reached out to me, pretty quickly might I add. They are sending a replacement to solve the brightness issue. I bumped up to 3 stars, although that kind of customer service genuinely deserves 5 stars. I will update again after I recieve a replacement. Well done Feyachi, above and beyond, and a lot of companies could learn from this proactive approach. Thank you again. And I look forward to trying out the replacement. 5 star customer service.

I was pretty excited about this when I ordered it with all the positive reviews, and build up I’ve heard about these. I have to say, I was a bit disappointed with the actual product. The build quality seems pretty good, it’s got a nice weight and feel to it. The glass was very crisp and clear. The riser and hardware seem to be on the lower end of the spectrum, but as long as you take your time and dont overtighten they seem like they will be alright.

Where I’m dissapointed is the brightness. All the way to 11 it says, assuming the meaning of that, 11 should be like a laser beam brightness. To my dismay it’s not super bright as all. On an overcast rainy day, it was there, but just. Keep in mind it’s on setting 11. Theres no way I’ll be able to find that dot on a sunny day. I tried both included batteries with the same brightness results. Just not enough. Not worth the trouble of sending back, I’ll keep it for a plinker, but I guess ill need to keep looking for my weapon this one was intended for. I love everything about it, but the brightness just isnt enough.

The lens has a greenish tint, which was also nice. I’ve had multiple cheaper option red dots, and was super excited and had pretty high expectations, but the truth is the NC star ones I’ve got are so much brighter, while this actual unit seems to be of higher build quality. Catch 22. It’s a shame because I wanted to love this one so much. It looks the part, and feels great, just doesnt have the brightness to back it up. The search continues. -Alex Rowan

7. Feyachi Reflex Sight – 4 Reticle Red & Green Dot Sight

Feyachi Reflex Sight 4 Reticle Red Green Dot Sight

Highlight: Quick-aim precision with 4 reticle options and dual red/green dot illumination for versatile targeting.

Constructive Review: I have an over/under rifle/shotgun, chambered in .22lr/.410. It’s a nice little “garden” gun, break action, single shot for each caliber.
Since the gun was inexpensive, the stock sights are mediocre. The gun is more accurate than the sights, so it needed something more.

This product is the perfect solution! I can sight in the .22 with the red dot, and the .410 with the independently adjustable laser sight, (or vice versa, whatever your want).

The sight came with batteries installed in addition to brand new batteries for the red dot and the laser sights. It mounted easily with the included allen wrench, and out the box, the red dot and laser were damn near, but not quite, centered on the same spot. (I keep saying red dot, but this is also a green dot, very easy to switch)

Very easy to mount, figure how to use, and I had none of the problems other reviews mentioned. I’m either lucky or this company had made a righteous effort to correct any problems.
I haven’t sighted the gun in yet, and don’t know how this sight holds up over time, but first impressions are favorable! -John C

Trending Review: I bought this sight after a revelation at the range with a new pistol and factory sights. Somewhere in my forties my eyes became not so young. Focusing on the front sight was all but impossible even with my progressives on. Forget the target and rear sight, they would just sneak out of the room every time.

So, is an electronic sight for me? I was not going to spend a fist full of Benjamins to find out.

Feyachi was not quite the cheapest, but the reticule options and reasonable reviews convinced me to try. So much of everything is made in China, big brands you would never believe, like the jeans you’re wearing. At least this company wasn’t trying to pretend it was something else. Chinese product, Chinese branding, zero expectations.

My guns are treated like delicate snowflakes. Never thrown in a tackle box or rough handled. They ride in a case to the range and are put back the same place except for cleaning. I made a test that would exceed the abuse it would normally experience in my care. 200 rounds of ammo. Removal, dropped from a height of 12” three times, remounted and checked to see if it kept zero. That’s my test.

Conclusion:
I found the laser and red dot to be redundant and distracting. So for my regular use, the laser was (easily) removed. This is my fault, I ordered it that way. The choices of reticule is really nice, especially for punching paper at the range. It was easy to sight in and most of my 200 rounds over a few trips to the range were spent actually practicing my stance, grip, sight picture, etc.

The drop test and remount had no effect on the zero.

My experience with this sight was surprising. Vision issues were overcome and silhouettes stand no chance against me and this sight.

Since bragging on this humble little sight, far more expensive sights have been loaned for demo, trying to prove me wrong. While inspection under a magnifying glass may prove there are better, for my money and for accurately punching holes in paper, I don’t see a need to part with 10X as much coin. At no price point did any sight serve the purpose better.

I’ll use that money for more ammo. Binkle

Reassuring Review: Very impressed with the quality and design of this laser/sight combo. Does not feel cheaply made, seems like it will last for awhile. Laser is very bright especially at night and the different reticle styles and colors suit almost any need. I did see where they said let it warm up the first time you turn the reticle on as it does show double vision at first. Once it warms up, maybe 10 mins, then it is clean. Had to zero it in slightly but it shipped almost zeroed already. I also bought some flip up iron sights from this same company and they are amazing and well made. Just became a big fan of Feyachi! -Donnie

8. MidTen 2MOA Red Dot Sight

MidTen 2MOA Red Dot Sight

Highlight: Crisp 2MOA accuracy with rapid target acquisition—MidTen Red Dot delivers performance without breaking the bank.

Constructive Review: High quality red dot sight for a great price! I needed a sight for my airsoft gun, and this did the job perfectly. A lot of times when you purchase a set of sights it is usually too close to the rail to peer through it, but luckily this product comes with a riser that lifts it to the perfect height!

I’ve run with this scope a few times on the field and its durability is incredible too. It’s been hit quite a few times by opposing fire and not a scratch or crack in the lenses.

I also like how efficient the battery life is. It takes a coin battery, but it lasts for hours, and the best part is that the power of the red dot is adjustable so it’s perfect for whatever your conditions are.

Overall a 10/10 recommend! -Nathan Hobban

Trending Review: I wasn’t expecting much from this red dot. I just thought it would be a placeholder until I got an Sig. I can cancel the Sig, this has been a great surprise (so far). I went to sight it in on a 7” 5.56 at 25 yds. First 3 rounds, 1” group just low and left. Couple clicks and next group was perfect. Farthest out I went was 50 yards but same results. I put one mag through so far and it has held zero. Great product so far. -Matt Miller

Reassuring Review: I have 4-5 of these mostly on .22 rifles & pistols and they work very well overall.

Obviously there not high end units but work well for what I use them for. I did have 1 come not working & needed to have replaced , but was replaced with no issue. So if your looking for an entry level red dot for range use or just shooting tin cans in the back yard with your .22, They Rock .

Some I’ve had for quite some time and there still working just fine.

Highly recommended for the price . -Mingo

9. CVLIFE 1X22X33 Red Green Dot Gun Sight

CVLIFE 1X22X33 Red Green Dot Gun Sight

Highlight: CVLIFE 1X22X33 Red Green Dot Sight: Versatile reflex optic with dual-color reticles for rapid target acquisition and all-light shooting conditions.

Constructive Review: I noted the one and two star reviews and in spite of the negativity decided to give the CVLife red dot a try. If it was junk, I was only out a little more than $20. When it came in, right out of the box the red dot looked slightly elongated. I decided for the money paid out, I would put up with the defect and use it anyway.

Then I decided to try using it with my reading glasses on. It was even worse in this instance, showing double and sometimes triple images, and a wildly misshapen red dot. I am 78 years old and have glaucoma, which was corrected by surgery. After surgery, my right eye was 20/20 and my left eye was 20/25, so I ordered glasses the had clear glass for the right eye and a slight correction for the left eye lens. I don’t normally wear my glasses because the correction is so slight it doesn’t matter much for distance vision.

However, when I put them on to try with the CVLife, the red dot shrunk to a perfect circle and all double/triple images disappeared. What was left was a perfect reticle that I could superimpose over the target with no issues whatsoever. This leads me to suspect that many of the one star reviews describing misshapen red dots and double images are the result of eye issues requiring the services of an optician rather than a problem with the red dot sight itself.

I was able to mount the sight easily, zero it, and it performed admirably. I don’t know how long it will last over time or how long the battery will last, but for now (in the short run) I am very well satisfied with my purchase. If it lasts a year or two I will have certainly got my money’s worth out of the sight. At this point, I would recommend it, at least for air rifles. Others will have to report on how it stands up to standard firearm use. -George Boone

Trending Review: I had a minor malfunction with the product and after contacting customer service, they sent me a replacement free of charge, no questions asked and no need to return the product with the minor malfunction. The replacement is working perfectly well now.
I’m extremely satisfied with this product and the vendor. I will highly recommend it -Guillermo Marquez

Reassuring Review: I use this for a fine air rifle whose iron sights were worthless. It needs a separate rail, so you must buy a rail to mount this sight. The sight is lightweight, mounts securely, and has an easy-to-use dial for color and brightness and another switch for reticle selection. There is an off setting on the lighting dial to conserve battery. It was easy to adjust in about 20 rounds, and now I am dialed in with an air rifle I was ready to sell because of its awful iron sights. I would buy this again. -Jeff Sheehan

10. Feyachi Reflex Sight – Adjustable Reticle

Feyachi Reflex Sight Adjustable Reticle

Highlight: Feyachi Reflex Sight offers quick target acquisition with a customizable reticle and reliable zero retention.

Constructive Review: I’ve been beating this sight on the top of my airsoft replica for hours every weekend over the last two and a half months, which around here, means everything from +90*f down to about 26*f, and blinding sun and dust to damp-sleet-rain-snow (most recently).

It has held up to being dropped (with my entire replica), bumped and jostled, and has been pinged at LEAST 3 times that I know of with airsoft bbs, and it has held tight, kept zero, and performed exactly as needed.

The battery lasts a good long time in there as well.

If I had a small quip it would be that, when lit brightly (setting 4 and 5), two of the RED dot patterns (none the greens though) look a wee bit blurry, but not bad enough to affect the use of the sight. Honestly that is a crazy minor flaw in an otherwise steal of a deal on a rock solid optic.

As I said in the headline. I’m buying a second one for my G36.

Edit-Additional: I just wanted to add that the second one works just as well as the first one. Even in the cold and snow. -Badbatch

Trending Review: The Feyachi Reflex Sight has truly impressed me with its outstanding value and solid performance. For its price, this reflex sight delivers an accurate aiming experience that surpasses my expectations.

The sight is surprisingly easy to install and set up, making it a hassle-free addition to my firearm. The compact and lightweight design adds minimal weight to the firearm, which is a definite plus during extended shooting sessions.

The accuracy of the Feyachi Reflex Sight is commendable. The red dot is sharp and precise, allowing for quick and confident target acquisition. I found that the sight holds zero remarkably well, even after multiple rounds of shooting.

Despite its affordability, the build quality is surprisingly robust. The sight feels durable and capable of withstanding the rigors of regular use. The controls are intuitive and responsive, enhancing the overall shooting experience.

One of the standout features of this reflex sight is its versatility. It works well across various lighting conditions, which is crucial for both indoor and outdoor shooting activities. Whether I’m at the range or participating in a competitive event, the Feyachi Reflex Sight consistently performs admirably.

In conclusion, the Feyachi Reflex Sight is a hidden gem that offers exceptional value for its price. It’s accurate, easy to use, and boasts a quality build that is sure to impress any shooter. If you’re looking for an affordable yet reliable reflex sight that doesn’t compromise on performance, look no further. This product earns a well-deserved five stars in my book! -Adam Nelson

Reassuring Review: The sight shipped faster than expected. It comes packaged securely in a nice box that is filled with a good dense foam with cutouts that hold the product very securely. In the box were both keys needed to fit and secure the sight to my gun as well as not only one but two batteries so that is a major plus. It also came with a little rag for cleaning the optic which again is a major plus.

As soon as it came out of the box it was very easy to tell that it was very well constructed. To be honest I was actually surprised by how nice this little thing was for the price. I did not expect to receive such a quality item for amount they are charging. It also only got better from there. installation was extremely easy and straightforward. As soon as you put in the battery and turn it on its a pleasure to look through and see one of the 4 optics you decide to use. The red dot is my favorite and the others are just as good to be honest.

They give you the option of a crosshair, a circle dot, a dot and another style which I am not fond of but I am sure some will find to be to there liking. It gives you the ability to not only change between those 4 sights but also between red and green color which is really pretty dang cool. On top of that you can change the brightness of the optic and color all on the same dial simply by spinning it. As you spin it it stays firmly where you put it.

There is no loose parts or questioning what you have set. It feels very firm and well put together. Zeroing took all of five minutes at most. It is incredibly simple, fire a shot and adjust the zero with the provided wrench until your shots are hitting the center of the optic. It really couldn’t be any easier. All in all this product exceeded my expectations and both my sons are very jealous. I will be ordering two more of these sights as soon as they get their guns. -Jeff Circle
