1. MURASAME Katana Sword Handmade

MURASAME Katana Sword Handmade

Highlight: Experience the elegance of the MURASAME Katana — a fully handmade sword crafted with precision and tradition.

Constructive Review: Alright, fellow enthusiasts of sharp objects and questionable home decor choices, let’s talk about the MURASAME Katana Sword. I saw this while browsing (as one does) and thought, “You know what’s missing from my life? A full-sized, handmade, clay-tempered, razor-sharp Japanese sword.” My rational brain took a tea break, and suddenly, this magnificent piece of T10 steel was on its way.

When this arrived, the box was long and felt important. Opening it felt like a scene from a movie where the hero finally receives their legendary weapon. And let me tell you, this sword does not disappoint. It’s stunning. The real hamon line is beautiful, the brass wave tsuba (handguard) is intricate, and the ray skin and silk-wrapped handle feels incredibly secure in your hand. It looks less like something you bought online and more like a museum piece that occasionally whispers ancient secrets (or maybe that’s just the wind).

Holding it for the first time is an experience. It has a weight and balance that feels… purposeful. Like it knows what it’s for. My immediate urge was to dramatically swing it (in a safe, open area, obviously!) and maybe challenge a particularly stubborn dust bunny to a duel.

Now, my daily life doesn’t involve fighting off ninjas or samurai (thankfully). But I have found some creative uses. Opening Amazon packages? This knife laughs at box tape. Slicing through junk mail? Effortless. Demonstrating the concept of “sharp” to a disbelieving friend? Highly effective (from a safe distance!). It’s also a fantastic conversation starter. Guests tend to pause when they see a genuine, very sharp katana displayed in the living room.

The craftsmanship is evident. It’s handmade, clay tempered, and genuinely razor-sharp right out of the box. It comes with a handsome hardwood saya (scabbard) that fits snugly. It feels like a tool built with respect for tradition and functionality.

If you have an appreciation for Japanese swords, want a truly impressive and well-made piece (for display, practice, or very enthusiastic package opening), and are prepared for your home to feel significantly more epic, this katana is a fantastic acquisition. It’s a beautiful, powerful object that brings a unique energy to the room. I’m thoroughly impressed. -Jack

Trending Review: I bought this sword mostly for self defense, quality, and to pass it on to my son. Hopefully it never will see action. I was looking for a quality sword that didn’t hurt my pocket too much. At $165.00, this sword did not disappoint at all, and I highly recommend this sword. This sword looks and feels like a much more expensive sword, because the quality is truly of a more expensive sword.

It is a full tang sword with a genuine hamon across the blade, and all the traditional wrappings on the handle. The handles are held together by wooden dowels, which is correct. The blade has been hardened, and it is very clear that the blade was given 100% attention. I would not dare to use this sword for practice, as I do not want to damage it. But, I did a simple paper cut test, and the blade is razor sharp! It cut paper effortlessly. It is not on the level of cutting silk as it flies in the air, but this is definitely sharp enough, and it impressed me. Handling this sword kept me very aware that I was holding a true weapon.

My grade for the blade: A+ (Blade was flawless, made very well, great balance, sharp, and has a genuine hamon. The Yakiba, the hard part of the blade is just wide enough to have an efficient cutting edge, and has great coverage throughout the entire length of the blade. The blade is not polished to a mirror, but that was expected. For this reason, this genuine full tang blade gets a perfect score.)

My grade for the handle itself: A+ (Genuine high quality ray skin, and is so high quality that I initially mistook it to be a high quality faux ray skin. I thought “this is too good to be real”. To ensure the accuracy of my review, I decided to take a chance and I did the red-hot needle test to poke the ray scales, and the ray skin did not at all react. It was firm and hard, as genuine ray skin should be.) The lacing on the handle is tight & well done. Nice Menuki ornament that was tightly held in place by the wrapping as it should be.)

My grade for the Tsuba/Guard: A- (Has nice details, good quality, but the edge all around the guard has some light sign of machining and is not as finished as it could be. If you took super fine sand paper to it, you can smooth off the grind marks, and it’ll be amazing. Expect to spend a couple of minutes doing this if you are fussy.)

My grade for the Habaki/Ferrule: B+ (Solid, but could tell it was somewhat hastily sanded, as all sides are not 100% equal. Quick shaping work from a mass production scenario. If the workers slowed down a little bit and took more care, it would be A+ Honestly, this is not a big mark against the sword. Just nitpicking here.) I suppose you could take the Habaki off and sand it off so it’s equal then polish it and put it back on if you’re bent on absolute perfection.

My grade for the Kashira/Pommel: A+ (I was pleased to see the nice detail of the handle cap. It is tied very tightly against the butt of the handle, as it should be. In a situation of an emergency, I would be confident to use the Kashira as a head butting weapon.)

My grade for the Saya/scabbard: B- (Solid, wooden, nice laces. But, the mouth of the saya was not 100% finished. No brass protection. If you looked down the hole, you could see glue and imperfections. On the surface, there was one small area where the veneer was somewhat rough from a knot in the veneer sticking out somewhat. I was a little bit disappointed that they overlooked this. This is the biggest mark against this set. But, personally, I bought the set mostly for the sword itself.

My grade for the weight, feel and handling: B+ (I am a big man and am stronger than most men. This sword feels just perfect for me, but might be slightly on the heavy side for a small person. The balance is there, and very close to a $1,000 Samurai sword. I am honestly impressed.)

It is my observation of the particular sword that I received– All the parts were made of good quality material. The blade itself really is what is the most impressive thing about this entire sword/scabbard combo. It is my gut instinct that the person that makes the blade is a skilled metallurgist, but the person that shaped the ferrule was unskilled labor, and probably shaped as many as 10 ferrules per minute or something like that, on an assembly line. And that’s why the ferrule isn’t as perfect as it could be. The sword was assembled by somebody that has good skill. The ferrule is my only true complaint about the whole sword.

Overall grade for the sword for the price: A+ (If it was priced at $300, I still would give it A+. It will drop to A- once the price reaches $500.)

Based on Amazon Shipping Quote, the shipping was quoted to take 4-5 weeks, a quote which disappointed me initially. But, they surprised me and I got it within 3 weeks! Fast shipping direct from China! Thank you!!! -George

Reassuring Review: While I eventually plan to buy a authentic antique Japanese sword I realize that is going to cost in the thousands.
This sword is incredible, the polish, workmanship and detail and overall feel is well worth the money and while doing lots of research, reading and comparisons I felt this brand was worth trying. I would gladly pay twice or more than what this cost and still feel it’s worth every bit. I am completely impressed and while I have nothing to compare it to and I don’t know what a true authentic handmade Japanese blade would be like I can say this blade is fully what I expect a high quality, razor sharp, beautifully polished and further more it feels great. It is balanced and agile and everything fits tight and does not feel or look like an assembly line mass produced imitation…I feel 100% this is as close as you can get to a modern high quality rendition of what anyone would want from a Japanese style sword.
If this review helps anybody worried about quality then let this help you make the decision that there is no way to go wrong with this brand and there will be no way to regret this because I’m going to say this is almost perfect is the best way I can describe it. I’m glad I bought it, I’d definitely buy again without a 2nd thought and there’s warnings and negative advise about buying these type of swords in the sub $700 range but let me say if this sword had a 700+ price tag then it would be totally worth it! -Jay

2. Wuder Handmade Katana, Japanese Samurai Sword

Wuder Handmade Katana Japanese Samurai Sword

Highlight: Wuder Handmade Katana – Authentic Japanese Samurai Sword crafted with precision and timeless artistry.

Constructive Review: I was in the market for a Katana in the range of $400-700. But I saw this sword in a Youtube video of ancients weapons going up against modern armor and was impressed by this blade. Even though it was below my budget and thought it wouldn’t be what I truly wanted (a moderate end blade), I got it anyway. And….wow. This was way more than expected. I truly FELT the weight, balance, and sharpness. This is not a “cheap blade”. It’s for real. Not a toy or a katana to be disrespected. I firmly believe that if you want to start a katana collection, start here. -Adam C. Cloud

Trending Review: This is incredible! My husband is absolutely in love with it. It came beautifully packaged and very fast delivery. The blade is sharpened and oiled and the craftsmanship is on point. My husband loves his birthday present! He wants me to buy another! 10/10 -Crystal Mcintyre

Reassuring Review: Nice quality metal, came with a bit of an edge on it and was super easy to perfect to a razor sharp paper thin edge to where now the thought of making a mistake with it is terrifying! Good attention to detail. Overall impressive, especially considering the modest price for good handmade craftsmanship. Looks very nice! Functions very nice! My neighbors eyes about popped out of his head when he felt the sharpness of the blade after I perfected it. Hahaha! He was very grateful to have received it as a gift. -Kirky Turkey

3. Top Swords Art Online Kirito Dark Repulsor v2

Top Swords Art Online Kirito Dark Repulsor v2

Highlight: Top Sword Art Online Kirito Dark Repulsor v2 – iconic design, premium build, and perfect for collectors or cosplay.

Constructive Review: I was slightly worried about scratches after all the comments noting them but when my swords arrived they were perfect without any scratches or smudges, I was blown away at the accuracy and durability of the blade, it comes with a slight edge but not enough to cut. The blades are durable and straight and the swords have a nice heavy weight. The paint on the hilts were obviously machine painted and not extremely neat but they aren’t noticeable from a distance. Over all I was blown away and highly recommend this product. -Shotpun

Trending Review: I absolutely love these swords. I just got them and all I’ve done is stare at them for like 30 min. My only complaint is that the Dark Repulsor blade seems to sometimes get stuck in the scabbard and I saw other reviews saying the same. It’s not that big a deal I found out how to work around that. Also I wish I had a double back harness to wear them like Kirito does. I got the Storm Double Sword Harness whatever it was that people got with the swords but it doesn’t fit sadly. And the got a tiny bit scratched and in a couple spots the paint is chipped but it’s super small so it’s okay. Otherwise amazing purchase from me. -Jason Franceschini

Reassuring Review: I love them soo much but i due have a major issue, the sheath for the Repulsor has carcked and broken at the bottom. well im not happy as they cost a lot in shipping to be broken in shipment. i understand its not your fault and i only need the sheath is there any way of getting a new one or a bit of money back for the broken sheath. I will send pics and whate ever you need but apart from that i do really love them 🙂 -Jessy

4. Top Swords FULL TANG Carbon Steel Master Sword

Top Swords FULL TANG Carbon Steel Master Sword

Highlight: Top FULL TANG carbon steel Master Swords built for unmatched strength, durability, and collector appeal.

Constructive Review: First off, I think this is a great sword! I think the sword itself is beautiful, albeit slightly lighter then I was expecting. So here’s the ruff…

While it’s incredibly long I was hoping the blade itself would be slightly thicker. I think it’s probably the steel it’s made out of. Obviously it’s not sharp, except for the tip which is very sharp! It’s well done. The exterior of the sheath is very nice looking! Whatever materials used for the inside of the sheath however could be better. Whatever it is it’s always leaving particles on the blade. It’s not the best material to use. To only other issue I have is the strap. I’m 5’6” 185 lbs and the strap is very tight. With the sword as long as it is, it would have been nice if the strap was longer to adjust better for wearing it. Because it’s so tight it’s not great to wear because it doesn’t sit right. It makes the sword act more like wings on both sides.

I realize there was a lot of negative but if this is something you plan to hang, or pose with photos, it’s an amazing addition to any sword collection. Plus for the money, it truly is a great value. -James

Trending Review: This is obviously a wall peice and you’re not going to actually fight with it so the people that say it isn’t this or it isn’t that… Chill out. If you love the game then you will love this sword if you get a good one. Mine is put together super tight, the acid etching is very clean and prevalent and its polished and sharpened nicely. The sheath is also very awesome. This isn’t a 4000 dollar katana like I have but it isn’t supposed to be. Its not for battle and you’re not actually going to go running around the neighborhood with it looking for Gannon. I hope. Maybe the 30 year olds living in their moms basement screaming for meatloaf will. I’m sure of that. But it is very beautiful and very much worth the money for something cool from the game. Glenn P

Reassuring Review: My husband absolutely LOVES the Zelda games, and I got this as a wedding present for him. The sword looks fantastic except for a few minor things that you would have to be inspecting the sword to see. The tip is extremely sharp, but the rest of the blade is fairly dull. It’s wonderful for display, but I don’t know how good it would be to actually use. He loves it, and whenever anyone comes over, he loves to show it off. He uses it as part of his backdrop for his gaming streams. Overall, fantastic purchase for what I wanted. Couldn’t have been better. -Katie

5. Eroton Real Katana Swords

Erotn Real Katana Swords

Highlight: Eroton Real Katana Swords – Authentic, razor-sharp craftsmanship built for collectors and martial artists.

Constructive Review: Durability— It is good for the price. You can cut water bottle and fruit, but I wouldn’t go to hard on it. I would say its more for decorative but water and fruit wont hurt it. is a little heavier then I expected. But for this price it is really good.

Craftsmanship— it is beautiful. The blue is a very nice color, it doesn’t pop out as expected in the advertised picture but still looks really really good. The skulls around the guard looks cool. So intruders will fear my nine strike deadly skull crusher combo.

And to answer your question no. In a world of guns, tanks, and nukes. I would say this does very bad in battle. But if for whatever reason the Chinese army attacks my apartment, i will be certain this can take a balloon or two. -Collin Uken

Trending Review: It’s great quality, has an amazing look and finish, and it’s perfect for anyone looking for value.
I’ve already bought a katana from Eroton for the third time, and each time has been super satisfying. Especially this blue sword, the engravings on the blade are so detailed. They seem to have upgraded their gift packaging, which made me look extra classy when giving it as a gift to a friend who’s about to move. If you need to give a gift to a friend or loved one, I highly recommend this Eroton katana company. -Anne maylett

Reassuring Review: I have used this Katana to cut through metal cans, water bottles and even some wood. It is definitely a legitimate katana. Decorative swords or cheap katanas in this price range usually bend or break all together, not this one! For the price is why I give it five stars. Sure it is not a Cold Steel Katana, or a Hanwei Raptor. But for it’s price I am impressed with it’s durability and legitimacy. Overall very satisfied with the purchase, have owned it for over one year and still very sharp, granted I have sharpened it a few timesm You can tell whoever made it definitely put some kind of tempering on it too keep it strong. Sure it’s not the best sword around, but it’s a great Beater and fun to mess around with! -Michael Castle

6. Super Knife Legendary Link Master Sword of Time

Super Knife Legendary Link Master Sword of Time

Highlight: Unlock the Super Knife Legendary Link Master Sword of Time – the ultimate fusion of power, legend, and timeless mastery.

Constructive Review: Ordered in January was at supposed to arrive till March, came a few days after order so very happy about that. As for sturdiness it is very nice can comfortably swing it around without feeling it might break, just wouldn’t hit it with another sword( which it’s not supposed to do anyway). As for the design it looks amazing, it doesn’t feel or look cheap, and when holding it the sword feels like it is excellent quality. Definitely worth more than the 40 I payed, so yes I am amazed with it. -Dylan

Trending Review: Can i tell everyone that this makes an ahmazzzzzing gift for anyone who loooves Link from Legend of Zelda? We bought this for my fiancé’s best friend and he had never been so happy! He was amazed by both the design and how well it was made. The blade itself was very durable with the point of the sword being sharp, if you had sharpened it anymore though, it would’ve been a weapon. In fact, we loved it so much, we are looking to buy one of the same swords ourselves for display in our own home. -Mewomeow

Reassuring Review: I was very surprised by the quality of the blade and handle. I think I was expecting it to be flimsy and cheaply made and it is far from it. My son originally saw one a knife dealer had at the fair, it was cheap metal, and the guy wanted 80 dollars for it. I convinced him to look around and we settled on this one. The design on the sheath is stickers with a clear coat on the but they look painted. The only reason I know any different is that the heat here in AZ caused a small bubble under one of the designs. Overall, this is an excellent product I would recommend for Zelda enthusiasts both young and old. -Lynda Tuck

7. damdos Halloween Prop PU Foam Dark Repulser Kirito Kirigaya Sword

damdos Halloween Prop PU Foam Dark Repulser Kirito Kirigaya Sword

Highlight: Lightweight PU foam Damdos Halloween Dark Repulser sword, perfect for Kirito cosplay and safe for action-packed play.

Constructive Review: I bought these for my son for his birthday in April and he adores them. He takes care of them but he still plays with them, just not full out strength trying to slay The Gleam Eyes or anything. The points have lost some of the paint but it’s not noticeable unless you’re looking at the tips dead on. He has shared them with cousins and friends who are not as gentle as he is with their play and they haven’t broken yet. These swords look so cool and true to the anime plus they make my son feel amazing, I am so happy with this purchase and the quality. -Samantha

Trending Review: I’m a cosplayer, and i bought these expecting a cheap low quality pair of swords that i could fix in time for con, but instead I got a high quality pair of swords i could wear to a con tomorrow. Flexible enough not to break but sturdy enough to bounce back to being straight. The only thing at all wrong is the edges show a bit of foam, under 1mm. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!! -Clark

Reassuring Review: So I ordered these Sept 30 and they arrived Oct 15. They are still projecting an oct 22 to Nov 3 delivery, so they came in way ahead of the delivery dates! Second on my list was that they are absolutely amazing! They are smaller then the real sword replicas I have but they look identical in every other way! They are so beautiful and stunning you would never believe they are foam! Great details, amazing price too for two swords this is an absolute steal! If you love Kirito and want to have his swords for a cosplayer I would totally recommend this item!!! It is a must have!!

These came fast, cost is so low and I cannot tell you just how awesome they are! They compliment the cosplay so well. And with the sheath I already have they fit so perfectly. These are just amazing.!!! Elisa
