1. GX-E-CS4-I PCP Air Compressor

Highlight: GX-E-CS4-I PCP Air Compressor — reliable, quiet, and easy to use, consistently delivering steady pressure so you can fill your PCP smoothly and without hassle.
Helpful Review: I am using this compressor to fill the small PCP tanks on my 10 meter air pistol. I eventually will also use it to fill a small air tank, as well, but right now I don’t have a separate tank, just the two cylinders for my pistol. I did also buy the GX filter as an additional preventative measure against moisture getting into the cylinders.
The compressor was easy to fill with distilled water for cooling. I keep mine inside so there is no risk of freezing. I did have to move the compressor around, bumping it slightly as the instructions recommend to get the water to flow properly through all the tubes. I definitely recommend taking the cover off when you are filling so you can actually see the water fill the tubes to make sure there are no air pockets.
This was very easy to do. Once the water was filled and the filter hooked up it was ready to go. I’ve used it to fill the cylinders a few times and it does so up to the 200 BAR max of these cylinders in just a couple of minutes. This time includes filling the filterup to pressure as well. It is pretty darn fast in my opinion.
The auto shut-off worked exactly like it was supposed to, shutting off at my set pressure of 200 BAR every time. I am using it with house current but it also comes with a power cable to connect directly to a battery, so this is a nice feature if you want to take it on the road with you. It is not that heavy and the handles on the top make it easy to carry. SO far, I am very impressed with this compressor. I don’t think you can go wrong with this purchase.
Trending Review: I purchased this as a backup for a model just below this one. I have about 50 hrs run time on the old one when I blew out a pressure disk. I changed out the disk but had poor performance so I decided to try this new unit.
Wow, it is quieter and seems to pump just as well or better. I use this at home, so no need to hook up the transformer like the old unit. Later went back to trouble shooting the old unit and found some seals on my service line and connectors had blown. Replaced seals and now have 2 excellent compressors. So when performance starts to decline, check your service line seals. They will probably be the first thing that fails on this well made compressor.
2. GX-E-CS3 Portable PCP Air Compressor

Highlight: GX-E-CS3 Portable PCP Air Compressor — lightweight, quiet, and dependable, it fills steadily wherever you go, with simple controls that make every use straightforward.
Helpful Review: I use this product solely to fill my PCP airguns it’s a great little compressor the only issue I have is it supposed to come with grease so you can service it after 50 hours of use and I just open the second one and there’s no grease other than that satisfied…..Update… I e-mailed the seller about the grease issue.
I received a prompt response informing me that the compressors have been updated and no longer require you to service them with grease after 50hrs of use or anytime after that. It seems the oroblem was that the updated compressors wete being shipped with the old owners manuals. They were very apologetic and assured me that I shouldn’t have any problems with my compressor and instructed me not to try to service it with any sort of grease because it would be detrimental to the workings of the compressor.
I must say they set my mind at ease. I mean this is a 4500psi compressor so you can understand i was a little worried about keeping it in proper working order. After receiving their e-mail and corresponding with them I must reevaluate and give this little compressor a full 5 stars. It exceeds my expectations and performs better than described.
I use it with my Benjamin Bulldog and it fills from 1500 up to 3000psi in about 8min. Not only that its relatively quiet and highly portable. I’ve run it off both my car battery and the wall outlet converter and it works great off of both. The other great thing is it came with a quick disconect already attached and it fit right on my gun. Oh and it has an automatic shut-off you can set so you don’t have to babysit it while it fills. If you’re looking for a good, self contained, portable high pressure compressor at a great price this is it.
Trending Review: The CS3 is very similar to the Omega Trail Charger compressor. The main difference is cooling. The Omega is water-cooled vs air-cooled. There is a video from Airguns of Arizona about the Trail Charger. Unboxing, setup and operation including the user manual is almost identical to the CS3. The Trail Charger sells for around $850.
So far I’ve filled two air guns – a 200cc and a 480cc. Both events went perfectly. The auto-shut off is nice and works well. Noise level is not too bad. The internal cooling fans are actually louder than the compressor. The 12 volt switching power supply is setup with large terminals that are perfect for the 12 volt clamp cord of the compressor, Voltage is well regulated under load and powers the compressor with no problem.
I plan to fill an 18 cubic feet carbon fiber tank when it arrives. With the 30 minute ON / 20 minute OFF duty cycle, it will take at least 4 runs to fill the tank. This not a problem for me. I’m not a high volume shooter, so filling the 18 cu ft tank over a 3 to 4 hour period is not an inconvenience. The Omega Trail charger has the same duty cycle.
Durability remains an unknown – we’ll see how it holds up. It’s a nice, compact package weighing less than 20 pounds along with a relatively small size. Unlike some of the other inexpensive compressors that require a bucket and water, the CS3 can be put in closet for storage and pulled out and set up anywhere for use. It’s a nice combination of features for the price.
3. VEVOR PCP Air Compressor

Highlight: VEVOR PCP Air Compressor — dependable, no-fuss power that fills reliably, runs steady, and gives you great performance without the fancy price tag.
Helpful Review: I am very satisfied the services given by Vevor company. I contacted for technical support and given me instructions but nothing has done to fix the problem of my pcp compressor. But instead they have sent me a brand new Vevor. Thank you so much and enjoy again my pcp rifle refilling air. Very professional and importantly they provided excellent communications. I will for sure recommend this product to everyone.
Trending Review: Compressor works great, easy to setup and get started. It tops off my 250cc reservoir in 5 minutes or less. The noise is about the same as my pcp without moderator on. Builds pressure quickly. I’ve only used it with AC power so far. The auto shut-off is worth the extra few bucks. I returned first compressor because I was an idiot and thought the temp display was supposed to show pressure also. That one also ran perfectly, just user confusion. Price and quality cannot be beat.
4. TOAUTO A2X Upgraded PCP Air Compressor

Highlight: TOAUTO A2X Upgraded PCP Air Compressor — smoother, quieter, and built to last, with steady reliable pressure that fills your gear perfectly every time.
Helpful Review: This thing is a beast. I have used it to fill larger tanks than recommended, and I’ve filled a huben gk1 over 300 times to 5000psi with it. Originally I had purchased another brand of compressor and it had failed before reaching 4200psi on the first fill-up. Very impressed, might go with a water cooled one in the future.
Small external tanks you need to turn the pump off and cool about 3 times for a full fill and takes over 10 minutes. Fills a gk1 up to 5000psi in 1 go, about 4 minutes. I have not had the pressure saftey plug fail yet so I’m not sure how many psi I could actually get out of it. Have gotten 5200psi out of it once or twice.
Trending Review: I ordered this PCP air compressor back in July and it has worked great for me up to about a month ago when the compressor function stopped working. I emailed support who replied within a day.
To make a long story short, based on the information I provided, support determined that the control board had failed and they mailed me a new one. Within two weeks I received the new board which I installed and my now my compressor is back up and running. I was impressed with product support (Melina Lau) for quickly working with me to determine the issue and sending out the new part.
5. GX-E-CS2 Portable PCP Air Compressor

Highlight: GX-E-CS2 Portable PCP Air Compressor — compact, easy to carry, and works smoothly, so you can fill your PCP reliably wherever you are.
Helpful Review: So I am writing this review after 4 full years of ownership. I have had no issues at all, and she still works great. Now, this could be because I have a protocol I use and also, I am not a really heavy user (I’m of the opinion that if you’re going to be using something A LOT, you should get a bigger better unit).
So I use the unit to fill a 100 cu in. bottle to 4500 psi, and I use that bottle to refill an Air Force talon pistol, a Benjamin Akela, and a Diana bandit and stormrider. So I’ve probably filled the bottle from 180 bar to 310 bar maybe two dozen times since I’ve owned it. My protocol, knowing heat is what destroys these things, is to run it for 5 minutes, then let it cool to touch with fans running (roughly 3 minutes) then run 5 minutes.
I’m literally doing this right now as I’m writing this review. It takes about 20-25 minutes to fill (so 4-5 cycles). Do I think I can run it longer? Absolutely, because after 5 minutes of running I can put my hand on top of the cylinder head and it’s not too hot that I even have to remove my hand. I’d bet it can run 10 minutes no prob and would be just fine, but I am going for longevity here. I think 4 years without any maintenance is pretty damn good.
Trending Review: I lived on a Shoebox compressor for ten years and it finally gave up the ghost. I don’t fill SCBA tanks, just straight to the gun cylinder. If you are filling directly to the gun, the product is perfect. So far the quality control and engineering seems very good.
This unit has delivered as advertised and has worked perfectly. I have read the quality of grease in the gear drive is not good but that was 3 year old reviews. I only hope they have gone to something better by now? The GX folks need to re-write the manual because you can basically throw it away, but other than that nitpick I can recommend this product.
6. TOAUTO A3 PCP Air Compressor

Highlight: TOAUTO A3 PCP Air Compressor — steady, reliable, and simple to operate, consistently delivering the pressure you need without hassle or unnecessary noise.
Helpful Review: Ordered this compressor for my pcp air rifle it came in on time and seemed to work great until it would get to a higher pressure and would not fill any longer, contacted toauto about the issue and with no hassles at all they sent me a new one to replace it. The new one arrived in 2 days and works great this is the second one of toautos compressors that I have purchased and have loved both of them so if you are looking to get one I highly recommend toauto the product is great and the customer service is exceptional John was great to deal with from toauto.
Trending Review: A good operating check at first is to connect and then plug the hose, set the pressure limit on the gauge to 3000 psi, and operate the pump. It should stop automatically when it reaches the set point in just a couple minutes and then the pump but not the fan should turn off. If there are no leaks on the high-pressure side the gauge pressure should not fall.
This pump did that very well. It also pumped up the 500 cc tank on my air-gun from 200 to 235 atmospheres in just about 3 minutes. This is a great choice for filling the guns directly because the pump works most efficiently at pressures up to 3500 psi, and most PCP guns don’t need more than that for maximum fill. The pump is light weight and has some good features others don’t, like an extra in-line filter in the fill line.
Pushing the compressor button once turns it on, and a second time turns it off. There is a rupture disk for adequate safety but no pressure-relief valve, so less to fail. I like that the 115 volt converter is built-in, so you can leave the battery cable coiled up at home. It’s light weight but powerful enough to fill your PCP guns faster than you can reload the magazines with pellets. Comes with plenty of spare filter cartridges, o-rings, and rupture disks, and the filter cartridge can be replaced without tools.
7. GOYOJO PCP Air Compressor

Highlight: GOYOJO PCP Air Compressor — dependable, easy to run, and gets the job done without fuss, making reliable high-pressure fills straightforward every time.
Helpful Review: Please remember that this is my opinion and that you should be certified diver to fully understand the use of such equipment. Your results may vary and you should fully understand its limitations.
The GOYOJO PCP Air Compressor has been extremely helpful for filling my 0.5L portable mini scuba tank that I use with my sub-mask. It is easy to use, fills the tank quickly, and the auto shut-off feature gives me extra peace of mind so I do not have to constantly watch the pressure.
I also really like that it comes with all the cables for plug in or car automotive connections and it can run from either a 12V car outlet or a regular 120V home outlet. However I personally use a backup battery that I bring with me to be much more portable! That makes it convenient both at home and when I need to use it out and about. The built-in cooling fan is a nice feature as well.
Overall, this is a compact, powerful, and convenient air compressor. It has made keeping my mini scuba tank filled much easier than using any hand pump. Highly recommended!
Trending Review: Very heavy duty compressor was built in converter so it will run on 12 V or 120 V. Has an adjustable pressure gauge and gives you a temperature reading so you know if you’ve been using it too long and are overheating the compressor. Comes with a whole bunch of adapters and fittings for your particular application.
Also comes with a bunch of filters. The house is quick connect on both sides, so it’s easier to remove for storage. With that said it only will hook up two tanks that are quick connect. It will not do the cheaper threaded paintball tanks. I’m sure there’s an adapter that you can find for it though. I am very happy with this machine. for an air compressor that goes up to 5000 psi. It’s not annoyingly loud and pumped up very fast. It has some decent weight to it.
8. VEVOR PCP Airgun Compressor

Highlight: VEVOR PCP Airgun Compressor — steady, reliable, and built to last, with simple operation and consistent pressure that makes filling your PCP straightforward and stress-free.
Helpful Review: I use this to fill by PCP pellet rifles, it’s such a treat! I hated the time and effort it took to use the hand pump to fill them up, enough to where I wanted to consider not using them anymore. This compressor is amazing. Fills my tanks in less than 10 minutes. Doesn’t overheat on me, feels safe to use. Of course it’s a little loud but not bad at all. Love this thing!
Trending Review: I’ve been through two other compressors for Air Guns. Both broke within a year. This one is such a huge improvement. Dual fans on this one. No oil to worry about. Coolant compartment is easy to access. Runs extremely cool. Fills a Benjamin Air Bottle with ease. Works great from a car battery. I highly recommend this compressor above all others because it has two cooling fans and the rest only have one.
9. NUOGE PCP Air Compressor

Highlight: NUOGE PCP Air Compressor — solid, steady, and simple to use; reliably fills your gear without fuss or overheating, built to give you dependable performance every time.
Helpful Review: Compared to a manual pump, this electric pump is like comparing a horse to a Porsche. There really is no comparison.
It fills PCP tanks in a few minutes and seems well built. If you are tired of using a manual pump (I was sick of that option within ten minutes of owning one) this a solid choice in entry level electric high pressure pumps. Longevity? I am still uncertain, but it doesn’t feel or look like junk. It seems sturdy and even the packing and securing of the pump in the delivery box is first rate. Negatives?
Yes it’s loud. Yes, the temperature gauge reads only in Celsius. Yes, the directions are written in comical Chinglish. But you can easily figure everything out from the full color pictures in the manual, and best if all, the pump just plain works. I used it to charge my Notos PCP from 0bar and it was very fast. I consider this a solid buy.
Trending Review: I read the reviews, did lots of research, and had a few doubts about this purchase. I am happy with this compressor so far, as it was easy to learn how to use, filled my air tank for my pellet rifle at 3800lbs, from 0 to 3800 in less than three minutes. It got a little warm, but that is expected and the fan easily cooled it once the pump was stopped.
It appears very well made, looks cool, and has done the job so far. The noise level is not nearly as bad as some of the reviews noted, so I am happy with that as well. I will give it an updated review once I have used it several more times to confirm its durability. As of now I recommend it and would purchase it again, especially since the price was 1/3 of what I was originally looking at.
10. TUXING 4500Psi Pcp Air Compressor

Highlight: TUXING 4500Psi Pcp Air Compressor — reliably powerful, solidly built, and fills your PCP steadily and safely, exactly when you need it.
Helpful Review: This compressor worked great once I figured out what I was doing wrong. I have a new umarex air saber, and this compressor would not put air in the tank no matter how long it ran, not the compressors fault though. It seems that with a brand new PCP rifle you must first “seat” the seals before it will take air. This is accomplished by using your shop compressor.
Only take about 100 psi of air to seat them and then the pcp compressor can then fill it. The PCP compressor adds air in small amounts, and not at a sufficient pressure at first to seat the seals. While your shop compressor can’t fill your rifle, it can give a blast of air that the pcp compressor does not. This is true of all pcp compressors.
I do like that you no longer have to wire up the transformer to use this, as they have provide a transformer with lugs just like a battery has. you use the battery clamps, neg on neg, pos on pos, done. That is a nice improvement. Mine came with extra parts pressure test fitting, extra filters an extra pressure relief valve and extra o rings. .
The filters are not that great I will probably get a better filter system. I have only had the compressor a couple months, so i can’t speak to it’s life span, but it aired my air saber up to 3600 psi from 0 psi in very short order. perhaps 10 min.
You do have to stay with it as there is no auto shut off, and you need to watch the temp, that it doesn’t get to hot. Heat will kill it. If it is a hot day, much better to air your rifle in 2 or 3 goes then it is to fry your compressor by being impatient. I leave the fan running after a fill for 10 min or so to cool it down quicker.
Overall a great compact unit that you don’t have to mess with water cooling mumbo jumbo and very straight forward operation. In my opinion worth the money! If you want it to last a long time, do not overheat it. That is true of any compressor. It is awesome that it will run off of your car battery too, just make sure the vehicle is idling so you don’t drain the battery.
They seem to have improved this product since some of the other reviews were left on here. No wiring now, better quality control ( mine worked great right out of the box), I will say instructions are lacking. Common sense will get you far though!
Trending Review: This little thing does EXACTLY what it claims to and works so well you won’t believe it. Literally has everything you need in the box to be up and filling in 5 minutes flat. The nearest competition from a well known company is identical, IDENTICAL! but without the inverter and $100 more, pick up an inverter for it and your now $150-175 over the cost of this unit. Again, it’s the EXACT same unit without the logo decals. Shipping was crazy fast, received well ahead of schedule and again, was EXACTLY as described and functions exactly as expected of not better.
