1. SPEED BEEZ® Magazine Loader

SPEED BEEZ® Magazine Loader

Highlight: Experience fast, frustration-free loading with the precision-built SPEED BEEZ® magazine loader.

Constructive Review: I have spent an embarrassing amount of money on supposed “Speed Loaders” for 9mm pistol magazines. FINALLY, I got one that actually works first time, every time for my Glock 17, 19, and 26 double stack magazines, for both name brand and aftermarket products.
This loader provides for easy operation with exact and issue free loading. I’m ditching ALL of my other supposed “speed loaders” and have just ordered TWO more of these. That way I can have one in my range bag, one in my locked pistol case, and one in my ammo can, so no matter where/when I may need one, I will have one on hand.
Forget all other loaders that state they work for Glock double stack mags. THIS is the one you want. Worth every penny!! -Clark

Trending Review: Works great and is nice for range days when you’re reloading mag after mag.
I have one for my P365 and G17 and they solid quality, fit in your hand comfortably and save your fingers some hassle lol
They’re also great for people with smaller hands or someone that doesn’t have a lot of hand strength.
Worth the money in my opinion and would recommend them to family and friends. -Randy W

Reassuring Review: So I heard how great the Uplula Magical Universal Mag Loader was so I shelled out the $35ish for it. Imagine my surprise when the metal tab that forces the rounds down BENT UP!! Apparently this doesn’t always happen so maybe I got one from a bad batch but there’s shouldn’t be bad batches. For that price. So I’ve been grudgingly using it and just rebend the dumb metal thing every 10rds or so. It’s not me being some dumb ogre and smashing my stuff. I’m capable of finesse, it’s just cheap.

Anyway, thought I’d preface my review with that because this loader is everything the MagLula promised to be but wasn’t. It’s essentially a disembodied pistol grip with a loading mechanism on top. Said mechanism basically functions as scissors that compress. It’s entirely plastic from what I can tell. Had some anxiety with larger capacities but it’s holding up fine, be it the 22-33rd sticks or MOAB extenders it handles them all (again, Uplula and all other loaders I’ve used only reliable up to about a dozen). There’s no little switch to keep it closed but I never really saw the point of that anyway. However it does have a functional Glock OEM-type mag release. This keeps the mag in the loader and appears to be where most of the loading force is absorbed, rather than an unsupported tab on top.

The actual function wasn’t totally apparent to be when I purchased this: “closing the scissors” presses the rounds down into the mag and simultaneously opens the port where new rounds are inserted. Put the round in then “opening” the scissors loads the round into the mag. This might seem counter-intuitive but the initial closing motion is the harder part so it actually feels two pretty natural. Yes it gets more challenging with more rounds/stronger springs but it actually works, stays together and isn’t overpriced.

And hey, if you don’t like it or it breaks or something you can still pull the mag release and recoup a few dollars that way. The first aftermarket mag loader that didn’t irritate me. Recommended

Unsolicited review btw. I guess some are; I’m just opinionated 🙂 -Peliparius

2. SPRINGFIELD ARMORY XD(M) Mag Loader

SPRINGFIELD ARMORY XDM Mag Loader

Highlight: Effortlessly load your XD(M) magazines with the Springfield Armory XD(M) Mag Loader—durable, ergonomic, and built for fast, jam-free reloading every time.

Trending Review: For anyone requiring assistance with loading magazines, specific to Springfield, this product is a must. I suffered a debilitating injury. (multiple). And now live with nerve damage to both hands. While trying to load of magazines, I found that I could only get approximately seven rounds manually, inserted into each magazine, and that typically took approximately five minutes to accomplish. With the speed loader, I can fill the magazines to capacity in a fraction of the time. Bri R.

Reassuring Review: Do not buy any clip loaders except actual Springfield Armory stuff as I have six after market loaders and they do not work on the Springfield XD Mod two double stack and on the XD-X single stack sub compact. This one is same as came with the gun and will work great. By the way they do not make a designated loader for the Single stack XD-S, but this one will work. RogerD

3. Ludex Universal Pistol Speed Loader

Ludex Universal Pistol Speed Loader

Highlight: Ludex Universal Pistol Speed Loader – Effortless, fast, and compatible with nearly all 9mm magazines for stress-free reloading.

Constructive Review: Gotta say I was dubious about this. I’ve tried out a number of different styles of mag loaders in an effort to save my thumbs. While there are a few that will do that much, they don’t really speed things up. This one works great. You feed it with one hand and work the mag with the other. Bang, zoom you’re done. One mag after another. It loaded double and single stack mags in .45 APC, 9mm, 7.62 Tokarev, .380 APC and 9mm Makarov with equal ease. The key is that you adjust the tray to the length of the cartridge that you want to load.
Last Sunday I took it out to the range. It saved so much time and effort, not to mention my thumbs. -Clark P Haberman

Trending Review: Works well. I have used it with 9mm, .45, and .308. I have also used it with Sig, Glock, Springfield, and Colt magazines and it worked great with all of them. I like it better than the standard speed loaders you get since it fully seats the round into the magazine. Rounds can jump out of the loader if you don’t have the magazine in the right position but for the most when you get it lined up its pretty easy and quick. It is defiantly worth getting if you use multiple calibers and firearms form different manufacturers. -Jvmarsh

Reassuring Review: This is a thumb saver! Super easy to use and works with many magazines and multiple types of rounds. S couple of friends have this kind and speed loaders. I decided to go with this because sometime speed loaders are a pain and jam up. Sometimes ammo is just loose in a box and it isn’t convenient to use a speed loader. This isn’t quite as fast, but it’s fast and your thumbs will thank you. I just loaded up some Glock magazines with Winchester hollow points and it was quick and easy. This loader is solid and small. I got the bright color so it is easy to find in my bag and doesn’t get mixed up with other’s black loaders. Plus, it was a few bucks less.

Save your thumbs and save time at the range with this. -M&M

4. Ludex Magazine Speed Loader for Glock 9mm

Ludex Magazine Speed Loader for Glock 9mm

Highlight: Effortlessly load your Glock 9mm magazines in seconds with the Ludex Speed Loader—built for speed, comfort, and durability.

Constructive Review: This is a 10/10 product. It loads ammo much quicker & much more painless than loading manually. I recommend it to everyone of my friends & people I come across. I’ve put over 1000 rounds of .40 ammo through this & it still preforms with no hiccups. It works as easy as putting your mag in (it only goes in one way), sliding a bullet in the side, then push your mag down & its loaded. I believe it only works for glock mags as i’ve tried a friends taurus mag & it didn’t fit but Im a glock guy so that doesn’t affect me. It’s also pretty small; not small enough to fit in a glock box but small enough to carry in a range bag. Taking this out of your bag & using it to load a 15rd is still faster trying to load a 15rd manually. -Aaron

Trending Review: Let me start by saying I in no way blame the delivery driver, my wife’s geese were blocking the porch. But being they were blocking the porch the driver left the package as close to the porch as they could. Well my wife ran the package over with her Q5 when she came home. To my amazement the loader shows no signs of being ran over. I bout it to load Glock mags as that’s what it’s advertised to load. For flatulence and funnies I tried some other brands. To my surprise I was also able to load the mags for ruger sr40c, SAR B6C 9mm and s&w m&p shield 9mm. Sometimes you’ll have to double press to get a round to load but it still the most convenient loader I have used. I am so pleased with it I ordered one for my father in law. -Frankie Zietkiewicz

Reassuring Review: Already had a speed loader but decided to try this one out. Yeah, baby! Works great with my Walther P99 Mags.
Not sure which I like the best but this one works very well. Pretty sure my other one works on all 9mm Mags, and pretty sure this one will as well. But I cannot know that for sure. Walther was not mentioned and it does feed like it was made for it. -David

5. MakerShot Magazine Speed Loaders

MakerShot Magazine Speed Loaders

Highlight: Effortless one-handed loading with a perfect fit for 9mm magazines—built for speed, comfort, and durability.

Constructive Review: This is a great tool, and I definitely recommend it, but there are some caveats:

I purchased this for a Sig Sauer P365XL. I had several brand new magazines and this would not work! After several youtube searches to find a video that really explained how the device works I determined that the new magazines were to blame. The springs were simply to stiff so I found a thin blunt device I could use to press down on the middle of a cartridge (the handle of a letter opener) that complimented the enormous amount of pressure the speed loader allows to be exerted on the back of the cartridges. Once I figured out the process I was able to load 4 out of 5 new magazines with relative ease. The fifth magazine would not allow more than three rounds despite all the mechanical leverage the speed loader helps with so I ended up disassembling the magazine, resolved whatever manufacturing issue was related to the spring being incorrectly installed, and then was able to successfully load the 5th magazine to capacity.

Then I figured “Welp I have another gun, Springfield Armory XDS9, and by their very nature 9mm magazine must be reasonably similar so why not try the speed loader on them?” I grabbed several magazines that are well used (and double stack to boot) and the speed loader worked as well as it does in the most complimentary manufacturer videos which means I expect that after the new P365 magazines get a bit more worn I won’t need a special process to load them anymore. 🙂 No, the fit on the XDS9 mags wasn’t as perfect but it didn’t matter.

In the end this is a great tool that makes loading magazines a much simpler process and eliminates thumb pain. -JD

Reassuring Review: Getting the 15th and 16th 9mm round in a 16 round magazine was impossible for me as it took darn near 20 minutes just get 14 loaded in the magazine for the S&W SD9 VE. I seriously considered trading the gun UNTIL I discovered this company and read that they have invented a speed loader specific to different semi-automatic handguns. Luckily, they had one for the S&W SD9 VE. It works like a charm!! I was able to effortless load all 16 rounds in less than a few minutes. Now, it is a breeze and so easy that “even a Caveman can do it! ” It is worth every $1 of its $18 price! Highly Recommend!! A++ -Noojin

6. RAEIND Universal Magazine Speedloaders

RAEIND Universal Magazine Speedloaders

Highlight: RAEIND Universal Magazine Speedloaders: Effortless, fast, and compatible with nearly all 9mm magazines for stress-free reloading.

Constructive Review: I’m not sure why the negative reviews, it’s cheap and works decently for the price. I used this to reload mags from an Sig SP2022, Springfield XD, and Rock Island 1911 (which is a single stack mag)

This isn’t really a “speed” loader but more to protect your fingers as you load hundreds of rounds throughout the day at the range. I would DEFNITELY recommend especially to new shooters who aren’t used to loading over and over again.

If you have the right expectations its 100% worth purchasing. Came super quick and did the job I intended it for, which was protecting my thumbs during a range day. -Feisty_Vee

Trending Review: This 3D printed mag loader is a great loader for my springfield single and double stack mags. It takes a few tries to figure out how to use it, but does work great once you understand it. What I’ve found that works is to use this loader to depress the back side of the already inserted bullet, and then a finger from your free hand to depress the side closest to you. Then insert next bullet. -Chad

Reassuring Review: I go to the range often usually fire 300 rounds or so and I can’t believe I’m just getting one of these.. I have a hellcat and used the loader a couple times now and it’s a game changer.. bad part is it feels like it’s going to have a short life span but worth the money and now I know I can spend the money on a good one. -Donnie Cosby

8. 2 Pack Glock Perfection OEM Magazine Speed Loader

2 Pack Glock Perfection OEM Magazine Speed Loader

Highlight: Double the convenience with this 2-Pack Glock OEM Magazine Speed Loader—fast, reliable, and designed for perfect compatibility with your Glock 9mm mags.

Constructive Review: I recently acquired 2 handguns for me and my wife. In preparation for our first range day, I hand packed 2 magazines. Of course, the first couple rounds were no problem, but as the magazine started to fill up, it became increasingly hard. My hands hurt and I knew it wouldn’t be feasible for me to do this every time we wanted to go to the range, or even if we wanted to reload our magazines at the range.

The speed loaders arrived today and I packed the magazines with an ease that made me just want to laugh out loud. It was so easy, it took nearly no effort at all compared to hand packing them. I packed OEM Glock magazines as well as Magpul and ETS branded ones. No problems on any of them, really straight forward. These are worth their weight in gold!! -Dominic

Trending Review: Thank God above for this speed loader, I have a 9mm STK100 from Rock Island Amory, holds 17rds. I have tried a few times to load it old fashion way, by hand. The best I could would be to get 15 rounds loaded, but not with soar finger and hand.
I have arthritis n couple of my knuckles have been broken in the past so I was very difficult to load , I went I search for a speed loader and discovered finding one for my magazine style was not so easy, but during my research I discovered the the Glock 17 and 17 gen 3 shared some common ground.
The magazine from G17would fit a RIA STK 100
So i changed my search to a speed loader for G17, and I came across yours, I looked it up on you tube just to see how, and after that I bought it, and it is a life changer. -Lloyd Janney

Reassuring Review: The title isn’t meant to dissuade anyone. These little things are cheap but extremely helpful. I have a 15 round mag and after manually filling it to about 11, my fingers start to get sore after a while. This tool makes the job super easy. I know that there are others out there that are even easier, but if you’re like me and like to save a buck, then this is for you. I use this specifically for my PSA Dagger (if you know, parts for that gun aren’t necessarily easy to find off a search). -Matthew Silverio

9. ETS Speed Loader for Glock Magazines

ETS Speed Loader for Glock Magazines

Highlight: Load your 9mm Glock magazines in seconds with the ETS Speed Loader—fast, reliable, and effortless every time.

Constructive Review: By far the fastest loader on the range. I spray mine with dry-lube to reduce wearing of the plastic rails, and it’s still working well after 5 years and thousands of rounds. I have other loaders, but this one is my go-to. I find that it works best when loading several rounds at once, as opposed to just one or two rounds. It was a little stiff at first, but once I got the hang of it, it blazes. I have one for 9mm, and one for .380. -Mark M

Trending Review: There are a lot of bad reviews on this and the same product from different brands. First and foremost it does in fact work like it is advertised. I can load 10 G26 Mags in about 60 seconds. That said it takes a lot of force to make it work but that is what I was expecting so I dont have a problem with it. The instructions say to oil it before use which I did not do the first couple mags and I was having trouble so I used some slide lube on it and it was a great help. Very easy to get familiar with using it and it seems to be a cast plastic hard enough where I dont suspect it will break even with the force required to use it anytime soon. -E Mattingly

Reassuring Review: I used this a few time as a friend of mine had it at a match. I run a CZ shadow 2 and so does he. It is by far the faster loader I have seen or used. I can load about 2-3 mags compared to other people loading one. A little oil on the rails goes a long way and I have also found that tapping it (remember to add mag first and make sure it’s fully seated before adding rounds) rounds up helps with ease of use. It can take some muscle here and there but those tips will help a bit. Durable, good to grip, and simple design. -Joye
