1. Coast® XPH34R 2075 Lumen USB-C Rechargeable

Coast® XPH34R 2075 Lumen USB C Rechargeable

Highlight: Blazing 2075 lumens of power with USB-C fast charging—built tough for hunters who need maximum brightness all night long.

Constructive Review: Charging first thing when it gets delivered takes awhile, but that’s fully dependent on the charger you use. Typical phone charger takes some time. But when it’s charged, it lasts aong time. I use it for about 4 straight hours a day, lasts a few days. Gonna see if I get a week per charge.

It’s bright. Flood is awesome. Beam is a little unfocused, but I’m not bothered. Being able to twist and adjust is convenient.

Magnet is strong. That’s a bonus.

Hardhat strap does is solid, although the clips provided do NOT fit the new goofy hardhat with chin strap.

Weight isn’t a problem for me.

Haven’t had it long enough to speak on overall durability, but having it for a month I’m pleased. -Ken

Trending Review: After searching for a reliable headlamp, I came across this COAST XPH34R model from this seller, and I’m thoroughly impressed with both the purchasing experience and the product. The seller’s communication was prompt and professional from the moment I placed my order. My package arrived well ahead of the estimated delivery date, securely packaged to prevent any damage during transit. The headlamp came exactly as described in the listing, with all accessories included and clear instructions for use. What truly set this seller apart was their attentiveness to customer satisfaction. They followed up shortly after delivery to ensure everything met my expectations and provided detailed information about how to get the most from my new headlamp.

When I had a question about the charging process, they responded within hours with helpful guidance. The COAST XPH34R itself is a quality product featuring 2075 lumens, impressive battery life, and the useful Twist Focus system, but the seller’s commitment to customer service elevated the entire purchasing experience. They clearly stand behind the products they sell, offering support that matches COAST’s lifetime warranty promise.

The seller thoughtfully included a guide on maximizing the headlamp’s features, which helped me quickly become comfortable with switching between the wide-angle flood beam and the focused spot beam depending on my needs. As someone who has purchased similar products from other vendors, I can confidently say this seller goes above and beyond to ensure customer satisfaction. Their attention to detail, responsive communication, and evident product knowledge make them my new go-to source for outdoor gear. For anyone considering this purchase, you can buy with confidence knowing you’ll receive both a quality headlamp and exceptional customer service throughout the process. -Alex

Reassuring Review: I have been through plenty of different brands and price points with headlamps. This one, by far, is in the #1 spot for me. Super bright if you need it to be, easy to use, and the magnet is very useful in more ways than I thought it would be (and very strong).

I was concerned with all the weight being on the front and nothing to balance in the back, but once you get it fitted to your head right, it is very comfortable and light. Sometimes I forget its there.

And the best part, in my opinion, is how long the battery lasts. I use a headlamp on a daily basis and would have to change batteries every 10 days or so. This goes strong for me on a single charge for a couple weeks or more! -Brian W

2. BLACK DIAMOND Spot 400 LED Headlamp

BLACK DIAMOND Spot 400 LED Headlamp

Highlight: BLACK DIAMOND Spot 400 LED Headlamp – Ultra-bright 400 lumens with waterproof durability, perfect for all-night hunting adventures.

Constructive Review: I bought this to check on my chickens, dogs and my garden at night. I’ve never worn a headlamp but it is very helpful. It frees my hands up from having to hold a flashlight. The size is great and not too heavy on my head. The build quality is very good and the lights have different strengths of brightness. The light even tilts so you can look ahead when you walk but also see the ground. I love it so much that I bought my husband one too! -Jill Rose

Trending Review: I love this headlamp. It is really powerful on its highest brightness setting. Just be cautioned that if you leave it on the brightest setting, the battery will drain quicker. That is compounded when the temps are cold. But I think this is something you’ll encounter with many of the headlamps on the market.
I have taken this camping in Yellowstone, in my neighborhood, and have also used it to search for bugs or for hunting. It is multi-purposed and has great longevity. Just pack some extra batteries. –

Reassuring Review: I have a smaller version of this that takes 3 AAA batteries, but I wanted to get something a little brighter so I picked up this 4 AAA battery version. It is very light weight and the headband is adjustable easily and very comfortable. I wear it directly on my head or in the winter I can wear it over a cap. The beam pattern is useful with a decent combination of spill and flood to see ahead of me. I use the red mode quite a bit for just enough light to find my way around in the dark without blindingly bright output. I like the feature to tap the side for max brightness and the fact that it has memory and when powered on returns to the last used setting. You can angle the head up and down to adjust how far ahead of you it illuminates so you can match your lighting to your activity. A great little light for anything from night time dog walking to hiking in the wilderness. Mark L

3. Coast XPH30R 1200 Lumen USB-C Rechargeable

Coast XPH30R 1200 Lumen USB C Rechargeable

Highlight: A powerful 1200-lumen USB-C rechargeable headlamp built tough for hunters who need maximum brightness and reliability.

Constructive Review: This light changed my night hiking experience!

This unit is extremely durable. As a Marine, this reminds me of milspec gear that I would use in the Corps. It has a very solid metal chassis and a great hand feel when unscrewing the caps or dialing in the light. It’s also water proof or extremely water resistant, as I’ve used it in the rain several times without issue.

Being able to adjust both the angle and the light coverage (narrow beam, area flood light, or something in between) is an absolute game changer. Couple that with a very positive feel as you adjust and dial in your preference and this thing simply rocks! It requires very little attention and becomes second nature. This thing lights up the are like it’s daytime. The power button is extremely easy to find and use as well. It is a smidge heavier then some of my lightweight or ultralight headlamps (ie. Nitecore) but the battery life is phenomenal and the ease of use combined with the amount of light is top-notch.

Finally, the rechargeable battery that is built in is awesome. Not only is there a USB-C recharge port on the unit that allows the battery to be recharged without taking it out but the battery itself can be removed and recharged also via USB-C. That also means you can have backup batteries, pre-charged that can be taken on a hike or camping trip.

This thing’s built to last and even though I was hesitant because the price point I’m extremely happy with the purchase! -Heath Thompson

Trending Review: If I could give this over 5 stars, I would. I absolutely LOVE this headlamp. It lasts for over a week with periodic use, and lasts most of the day with heavy use. This is the brightest headlamp I have seen so far in my career, even brighter than the very overpriced Milwaukee headlamps, and the charge lasts longer too. My only gripe is that it does take about 5/6 hours to charge from fully dead to fully charged. But, with the convenience that the light comes off the band easily, you can set the light part aside to charge without having to take the band off your hard hat. Finally, I like the focusing beam because it adds a bit more light to precise operations. I love this headlamp so much that when I lost it, I was heartbroken for days until my new one showed up in the mail. If I ever lose this one, I’ll buy the same one again and again. I will not buy another headlamp, this is the one for me. -Sarah St. G

Reassuring Review: Got this as a warehouse deal, $39. Could tell it was opened previously, but everything was there and there is no issues. It’s a solid little headlamp altogether, not just for the price. It’s all aluminum, both endcaps have O-ring seals, it has a magnet on one endcap, the strap works good, although no center/over the head strap. It is adjustable up/down once you have it on the carrier/headband, and seems to hold in place very well with as much as I’ve used it so far.

It can be charged battery in, OR battery out, both via USB-C and, both the lamp and the battery themselves have charge indicator lights. It has an adjustable lens that goes from flood to spot, and, spot mode still provides some peripheral lighting. It switches on at medium brightness, then cycles thru high then low after each press of the power button, if you hold it, you get “turbo” mode. I can’t yet speak for the runtime on this battery, but others have claimed it’s very good for a 2600mah battery. It is an 18650 button top battery, for those that are interested in getting higher capacity batteries like myself. I would recommend that you only use quality batteries with protection circuits in them.

I do have several other lights advertised @ 1000 lumens (Streamlight Stinger DS HPL) that seem a fair amount brighter and have much better spot light range on the 1000 lumen modes. But, those lights are 3-4x this much $. That is not knocking this light, just saying if you want something VERY bright, there may be better options, but most likely will be 2-3x this much $. If you are looking for something to keep in a backpack as a “just incase” like myself, I think this is a great option for around $40. It would probably also be good for mechanics, hvac techs, home repairs, running, and really any other general chores you need 2 hands for. Overall, I think it will be a great little light to add to my inventory. -C.KOELLE

4. DanForce Camouflaged Headlamp Ultra Bright Headlamp

DanForce Camouflaged Headlamp Ultra Bright Headlamp

Highlight: DanForce Camouflaged Ultra Bright Headlamp – rugged, waterproof, and ultra-bright lighting designed for serious hunters.

Constructive Review: I purchased this light more than a year ago (to use for work, 8 hours a day) and it has worked flawlessly, the light is very strong and maintains output until the battery is very close to dying then it starts to dim a little. the battery is still good after a full year of use (charging does take a while so I leave it charging overnight usually). the value is insane when compared to medical loupes light.
I got used to the weight and it does not really bother me. although I do take it off every once in a while.
the straps were starting to get loose (I always carry it from the straps so it’s perhaps my fault). I contacted the company and immediately they replied and helped me resolve the issue after more than a year from the purchase date. I wanted to leave this review because it is rare to find companies with excellent customer dedication these days. -Ali A

Trending Review: I have used the light for about a week now and it seems to be a great headlamp so far. All the features are very useful. You can lock the light in the off position so it doesn’t come on accidentally in your backpack. Has high, low, medium, red and boost. I used boost on the trail the other night when I was geocaching for about an hour. The light is extremely bright and you can adjust the lighting by turning the outer lens in or out to make it a spot light for long distance or a very large bright light right in front of you. Battery only used 1 of the green lights up out of 4 green lights which is good . Seems to be made well and works great. Will see what long term use brings us. But I’m sure it will be fine. -David plunkett

Reassuring Review: We love these. We have a small chicken farm and sometimes you have to go out at night to evaluate things. These have several settings, including zoom to really focus on what you need to in the dark. They are adjustable to make them your size, and it’s an easy process. They come in a little carry bag and easy to store in a small area. Easily chargeable, they have a C type charger. They charge quickly. Price is on point compared to others, which were a much higher price point. -Tory

5. Bushnell PRO Rechargeable 400L Multi-Color Headlamp

Bushnell PRO Rechargeable 400L Multi Color Headlamp

Highlight: Powerful 400-lumen rechargeable headlamp with white, red, and green light modes—perfect for stealthy, all-night hunting.

Constructive Review: This headlamp is one of my best buys in years. I bought this headlamp in a convenience store in July 2017 while I was in Alaska. I was attracted by the fact that is was rechargeable instead of having to use several batteries. More than 7 years later, that same light still works, still holds the charge and is impecable. Since then I have become a fanatic about the light and bought many more, to gift and for me. I have one downstairs, one in my bedside table and one in my luggage when I travel. I don’t use it for camping or trekking or hunting. I use it almost on a daily basis at my house. Trying to find something back in my closet or my pantry or a drawer. Doing things at night in my garden. Or trying to find something in the garage. Trying to do something that needs more light. With this you can light what you are doing and have both hands free to do it My mother uses her for sewing. The light is very bright and you have different light modes. And the best thing is that it works for years. But be careful. They are quite addictive. -Ingrid Vidal

Trending Review: I’m a serious gear junkie, own WAY more headlamps and flashlights than I should admit. This headlamp immediately became my favorite. Great versatility, easily select appropriate light beam (spot or flood each with its own switch) and select brightness level. Also has red mode. The high spot beam is extremely bright and has impressive beam distance, way more than i expected. Compact and lightweight so very comfortable. The most unique and innovative feature is the integrated USB charging cord. This integrated cord provides two major benefits; 1) super convenient since its attached its always there so all you need to charge is a standard USB A outlet (wall cube, vehicle outlet, power bank…). 2) IPX4 Waterproof, since the cord is integrated into the headlamp housing there is no charging port with flimsy cover that isn’t waterproof. The cord is about 4″ long and the USB plug end tucks into a small rubber socket on the band to keep the cord secure while wearing the light. Bottom line, this thing is bad ass, way better than expected, a great value! -Jim G

Reassuring Review: I’ve used this now as my primary lightsource while running long missions on the covid task force with my state’s national guard as well as for night missions to include land nav courses, night ruck marches (up to 15 miles), personal use on multiple FTX’s, and just as a light for personal use while changing a tire.

The white light is excellent but where this unit really shines is it’s red light output which frankly outclasses every other red light I’ve ever encountered. I’ve had buddies with various other brands and none of their headlamps came close to putting out as much usable red light as this one does.

My buddies do have an easier time just replacing batteries when their AA’s or AAA’s run out than I do having to leave this plugged into my portable battery charger (if recharging in the field) but that’s not a big problem, just a minor inconvenience and to be expected of any item with an internal battery.

I absolutely recommend this light. -G. Prout

6. 11 Modes 4000 Headlamp Motion Sensor Head Lamp

11 Modes 4000 Headlamp Motion Sensor Head Lamp

Highlight: Ultra-bright 4000-lumen headlamp with 11 lighting modes and a motion sensor for hands-free control.

Constructive Review: For the money I paid this headlamp can’t be beat. The brightness is really good and I love how I can narrow the beam back and forth. It’s very straight forward with three position adjustments and a sensor for turning on and off. Very cool, and all for 25 bucks. Man, you just can’t beat it at 16000LM, the comfortable band and long lasting battery. I also have a BIAT COB @ $11.00 and it’s really good too, especially for the money but I can see the difference and obviously you get what you paid for. They both have their specific use and I’m very happy with the more powerful and versatile TIROFLX. I highly recommend it. -Jose M Tamez

Trending Review: I gave it five stars relative to the price. This is not a surefire or a fenix, but if you can accept reality and look at it for what it is five stars is appropriate.
It is made out of aluminum instead of plastic like most of the lights at the price point. The headband is wider and thicker than most and the material is soft very nice if you are wearing it for long periods. I used it one evening finishing up working on my scooter and cleaning the carport after dark. I used it on high for a couple of hours or so. The battery level uses numbers instead of little round dots like most. I think that it just shows increments of 25% 50% 75% 100%. After the couple of hours or so on high, I plugged it in and it showed 75% which was better than most I have had. It must have been actually a little more than 75%because when I glanced over at it thinking about plugging my speaker instead it was already 100% in around 15 minutes or a little less.
When I read the little booklet with instructions I noticed that at the end where you find the “about us ” part they are young and hungry. They sound like they want to please the customer and succeed.
I definitely recommend and I will buy another for my go bag. -Bigdummy

Reassuring Review: I hardly ever leave reviews but I feel like after using this headlamp, I just had to. Attached is a photo of me shining the headlamp towards the clouds at fully zoomed. I feel like this thing could blind a plane if you’re not careful lol.. It’s awesome, you can see creatures eyes glowing in the distance from almost a mile away. I’ve had it for almost a month and no issues so far. Be careful though not to shine it in anyone’s face or towards your pets because it is blinding. $27 for this amount of light output is a great deal and it even has a led backlit battery meter. I’ve used it several times for 5-7 minutes at a time and it’s still at 100% charge. We’ll see how long it lasts, but for now I’m pretty happy with this headlamp. 10/10 -David Garcia

7. AMAKER LED Headlamp Rechargeable

AMAKER LED Headlamp Rechargeable

Highlight: AMAKER LED Headlamp Rechargeable – Ultra-bright, long-lasting, and waterproof for reliable hands-free lighting on every hunt.

Constructive Review: Needed a hands-free light to work in a cellar for a big job. This one popped up and now I like it so much I’ll gift some to buddies. It is incredibly bright. It lasts a really long time, like hours. It’s rechargeable, no batteries to buy but you can buy more of the 18650 3000mah batteries to charge offline and quickly change out.
Cool feature #1: you can tilt the lamp down so if you’re working at a table, you don’t have to bend your neck.
Cool feature #2: see the pic, it’s got a charging port you can tap into to charge your phone, watch, etc. -Jeorge

Trending Review: The brightest head lamp out there, probably. The amount of light this thing puts out on high setting is ridiculous. There’s high, low and blinking light mode settings. Not whatever they list it to have. Basically, take the listed features and halve it. It’s not a type-C charger and it takes hours and hours and hours to charge. Even if you haven’t used it in 3 months and just want to charge it back to 100%.
It’s very heavy and very uncomfortable as is, so you’ll need to do some fenangeling to be able to wear it for long periods but all in all…
The price is great, the amount of light it puts out on high is ridiculous and the charge time is ridiculous. Can use on high for many hours. -Luru

Reassuring Review: Great light! I wear it with a hat backwards for a more comfortable fit. But this thing is a quality beast. I already used it to change a flat tire in the rain and it was awesome. Stayed secure and was super bright. Also makes doggy duty way easier in the dark. -David

8. BORUIT RJ-3000 LED Green Headlamp

BORUIT RJ 3000 LED Green Headlamp

Highlight: Ultra-bright green LED beam with long-range visibility—perfect for night hunting without spooking game.

Constructive Review: Update: Finally learned how to fully charge this light, which is why in my previous review I rated it so poorly. Fast forward to my recent hunt in Arizona’s desert. Got my deer about an hour before sunset. By the time we headed back to our trucks, about 1 1/2 miles away, it was dark. I turned on my light, not knowing if it would last an hour let alone the 5 hours it took to make it out. It not only stayed on the entire 5 hours, it was bright enough to see around me. If you are familar with the desert, there are several things that can trip you up in the day, the night is 10 times worse. Anyway, got back to my truck, took the light off, and it finally gave out. 5 hours folks. 5 hours it stayed on. Hats off to the makers of this light. Go get yourself one but make sure you get it fully charged. It’s sitll bulky, and the battery pack holder is fliimsy, but it saved my life! Can’t beat that with any other light. Period, a good deal.

I’m a hunter, so getting in and out of the woods requires a compact, lightweight and very bright light. Got these because of the green light option, which biologist claim deer and other wild game can’t see. The pros: When initially fully charged, both the white and green light are very bright. The cost was a good price too, for what else is out there. The cons: I charged the batteries as per the instructions but I had no way of knowing when or if it was fully charged. On the second use, on the way back to my truck from the woods, the light got very dim. Within a short time, the light completely went out. The second charge held for three hunts. The battery pack has a red light on it that shows when wearing, again, I only want a green light. Also, the battery pack is very large, and bulky. I mean, I felt like a coal miner wearing this thing. As mentioned too, the instructions are included, but translated from Chinese to English, missing the right verbs and adjectives- thereby making no sense. The snap that goes over the charger input came off after the first charge. So, I’ll probably keep these only because they still kind of work. -Marion Hack

Trending Review: Great light! No BS strobe to deal with. I hate all flashlights that have that stupid strobe light! If you let the battery completely die before charging it, it will save the life of your batteries. I let it completely die before recharging it, I use it all the time, just about every night. Only have to charge it about once every 3-4 weeks. Great light buy one, I have bought 3 myself. -James

Reassuring Review: Just one button changes the light and turns it off. I use this light to find tomato worms after dark. The vines are unruly and it’s hard to climb around without a bright light. When I get to a new spot I can use the black light to find the tomato horn worms. In black light they glow a bright green, almost like turning on a neon light. I cannot quickly get even the smallest ones into a container and in the morning, feed them to the chickens. Having a lid for the container is helpful. -Mariahscarey

9. LHKNL Headlamp Flashlight

LHKNL Headlamp Flashlight

Highlight: Ultra-bright, lightweight, and rechargeable with a comfortable fit for all-night hunting adventures.

Constructive Review: Great, lightweight, long lasting, rechargeable headlamps. I like the ability to be able to change from high to lower brightness. It’s light weight, water resistant, easily rechargeable with a “C” type recharging cord. Battery longevity great using a 1 to 1.5 amp cell phone charger. The headband is comfortable although it’s life doesn’t match the life of the headlamp itself. I bought my first pair November 2023, and have used them almost daily since. It’s now June 2025, and I ordered 2 more last night. I lost one light, and that’s the only reason I am ordering 2 more. They are very handy for the various tasks I use them for, especially working on my cars or mowing after dark during hot days. And now they are $6 lower priced than when I first bought them. The only thing I would change is the headband. Great little headlamp! -Luca

Trending Review: These headlamps have been perfect for us. We use them on a daily basis on our small farm and have had them for a year and a half now and they still work perfectly. We like that you can charge them- so much better than having to always replace batteries. They are comfortable to wear, and very well-made. The visibility they provide is great, with different settings/power levels. These will last us a very long time. -Keera

Reassuring Review: I like to use items for awhile before writing a review. After a year of having these I am very happy with the purchase. I ahve used them for hunting and working around the house in poorly lite areas. Being in my 50’s my eyes aren’t what they used to be so i love having these to help me see better. They hold a charge for a good amount of use. The charging time is average but everything else about these lams is great. I would definitely recommend them. -Calrk

10. Blukar LED Headlamp Rechargeable

Blukar LED Headlamp Rechargeable

Highlight: Blukar LED Headlamp Rechargeable – lightweight, ultra-bright, and built for hands-free comfort on every adventure.

Constructive Review: These are great. I have another one that I used all the time but its the old style light with an actual bulb it was pretty bright but nothing like this. This thing is BRIGHT!!!! I like the fact that i can lower the brightness if in I’m a small area to make it not blinding. The second bulb with ambient light option is perfect for lighting up the entire room and your still able to use the spot light at the same time if you need to. These are perfect. The strap is comfortable, the light is adjustable up and down so you can get it right where you need it and the battery lasts. I’m not exactly sure how long it goes for because ive been charging them before it dies every couple days but I’ve used it for many hours for a couple days with no noticeable decline in brightness. Also being able to charge with USB is perfect I live in hurricane zone so charging it with my power banks or car is so much better than AA batteries that last 4 hours. 2 of my neighbors and my father have already ordered their own after checking out mine. We all look like a bunch of dorks with our headlamps on now but they work so who cares. -Huckjam

Trending Review: These things are amazing I was about to go look at a big box store before I found these for the price I figured why not and I’m glade I did I had to do some pipe work under my house and these things worked perfectly the strap is super comfortable being one band around the head stays in place really good being in about 3 foot of crawl space bumping it on thing these are durable light wasn’t effected by dust or dirt the tilt is great for awkward positions and the light weight is great rolling around jumping down and scotching around it does not move from your forehead brightness is way better then expected with ease of adjustment with one click of button I’ve used for 2 to 4 hours for almost 3 days and battery is still holding up before you waste money on a $40 lamp I would try this first well worth the money maybe under priced for build and quality would definitely buy over and over. -Kevin

Reassuring Review: The lights are really bright and the band that holds it on your head can be adjusted to fit almost any size. It fits my adult head as well as my 3 year old nephews after adjusting. Something else I appreciate is that the package includes 2 chargers, just in case you want to give one away (my nephew). Shipping was great too, I received the package in only 2 days! All in all, they are cool little lights for the price, and I will purchase more as I need them. -Lois McCloud
