1. Classic Accessories StormPro Heavy-Duty Boat Cover

Classic Accessories StormPro Heavy Duty Boat Cover

Highlight: Tough, waterproof, and UV-resistant for year-round boat protection.

Constructive Review: Was having difficulty finding a cover to accomodate my 21 foot with a higher center console without going custom. (most covers don’t say that they only work for 30 inch high or lower consoles). This cover fits perfectly and was super easy to put on. I was concerned that I’d have a couple of extra feet of cover at the back, but after accomodating for the height of the console, the engine cover fits perfectly too. Hoping to get a few years out of this one. Giving it a 5 star for now based on fit only as it’s just arrived. -Randi J

Trending Review: I only just got this so time will tell but I bought this for my 2018 Carolina Skiff 218 DLV. I got the largest one, I think 23′ and it’s great. I didn’t even realize it was going to cover the engine too. I like the durability so far. We’ll see if it holds up in the NC sun. Seems like a good value though. The only knock is the cheesy pole it comes with. I’m not sure I need it since I have a center console and can pull it real tight. We’ll see but if needed I can make my own pole easy enough. -Theodora

Reassuring Review: As a whole the cover fits my 22′ Triton perfectly!!!! Absolutely pleased considering the price. Only thing I am not pleased with is the motor cover barely fits over my Yamaha 200 and will eventually tear due to the tight fit. Most important to me was covering the boat and this cover does the job. Brian

2. Seamander Waterproof Boat Cover

Seamander Waterproof Boat Cover 1

Highlight: The Seamander Waterproof Boat Cover features heavy-duty 600D marine-grade polyester for all-season protection against rain, UV rays, and mildew.

Constructive Review: I was impressed with quality right from the date of delivery. I did order the correct size based on measurements but it should be explained that if you have railing of more than 2 or 3 inches high you should order for an additional size. My cover was 22-24 but with railing i needed a 24-26. Again thats my fault.

The durability for the price was exceptional. It was a noticeable quality fabric. I felt comfortable synching it down with moderate force. The metal frame of my windshield did not puncture the fabric. It definitely is waterproof! I didn’t use center supports to help shed water and it filled right up and had to be drained periodically… but never seeped through. Eventually ice and snow built up, it held up quite well. It finally took 16 inches of heavy wet snow to rip the fabric. It still continued to hold up! -Nicholas S.

Trending Review: So far quality seems good, came with plenty of buckles to tie it down. I just could not decide weather to get the 17 to 19 beam or 20 to 22 beam cover for my 19.5 foot Thompson so I’d like to share what I found. I wanted to get one that fit snug but I dont want it too tight and stress the front rails. I figured I’d be better off with the bigger one and I’m glad I did so. If you have a 19 footer without bow rails on the front of mine as you can see in the picture, you can probably get the 19 or smaller one but if you have anything that sticks up high er than normal on the bow,

I’d get a 20 to 22 foot cover because you will need the extra room. A tiny bit loose in the back but not much to really effect how well it works and there’s straps that tie that down too. If you have a 22 or bigger, I’d consider one size up to be on the safe side. Only time will tell the true durability of this cover, but they warranty it for 2 years so they must have a good cover. And at 95 bucks if I get a few years out of it I’ll buy another one after! -Susan Aldworth

Reassuring Review: This cover is made of durable, think material and is surprisingly waterproof as well! I always try to prevent pooling from occurring when my boat is covered, but I didn’t have time to get my braces in place before a particular rain storm. This cover seems to be completely water proof, and quite strong as well! There are plenty of straps to secure everything in place, though it would be nice if some of them were just a little bit longer. All things considered, I’m very happy I purchased this for my 17′ Four Winns (IO). -John Anderson

3. YimSting 1200D Waterproof Boat Cover

YimSting 1200D Waterproof Boat Cover

Highlight: The YimSting 1200D Waterproof Boat Cover features ultra-durable 1200D marine-grade polyester for all-season protection against rain, UV rays, and snow.

Constructive Review: Great cover. Heavy, durable material. Well sewn, lots of attachment points. Fits like a glove. Quality and I expect it to last a good while. The motor cover is an extra and greatly appreciated. Turns water like a ducks back and bears the wind well. -Joe R. Downs Jr.

Trending Review: Extremely pleased with the fit on my 1650 skeeter boat. Also it’s already went through a heavy rain & it held the water off proving it’s water resistance to no question. It’s made well & pricing in my opinion is good. I would reccomend. Update: I can’t s a y enough good things about this boat cover, after several rounds of rain, high winds & small hail, this cover has done it’s job & beyond. -Mark A.

Reassuring Review: This is my 3rd cover. This one has lasted the longest by far. It does not appear to be any worse for wear. It has held up to the snow we just got in Ohio. I did have to put supports under it of course. Without the supports it does fine for the rain but snow needs the extra support. I was concerned with UV breaking down the material but it is holding up well. There is a Multiyear warranty (can’t remember how long) so if it rips I will just get a new one. At this rate I don’t think that will happen. -John Lynn

4. HAHASOLE Heavy Duty 1200D PU Waterproof Boat Cover

HAHASOLE Heavy Duty 1200D PU Waterproof Boat Cover

Highlight: HAHASOLE Heavy Duty 1200D PU Waterproof Boat Cover offers ultra-tough, all-weather protection with reinforced 1200D fabric and superior UV resistance.

Constructive Review: Very impressed with this tarp. Fit was perfect with a litttle extra room. I installed it a day before rain and it kept the interior of the boat dry. Did not have time to install reinforcement to keep it from puddling. No water seepage where water pooled. I purchased this tarp to place UNDER a $600 (COVERCRAFT TARP) that color burnt my interior.
“Hint” I highly recommend not purchasing DARK colored covers for that reason. THIS TARP WAS INTENDED TO HELP PREVENT COLOR BURN FROM MY ORIGINAL TARP. I highly recommend this boat cover. Packed nice with straps to tie down. Rudy Trejo

Trending Review: Fits perfectly on a 17-foot bass boat with extra room to accommodate inside poles. The straps and buckles are exceptionally long, making it easy to secure the boat tightly.

The material is very durable and does a great job of shedding rain. When purchasing a boat cover, go for the thickest material your budget allows. Be sure to cover trolling motor props or any sharp objects, as they could tear the cover—this is mentioned in the instructions, but it’s worth emphasizing.

Also, pay attention to the front tag when putting the cover on or taking it off. If it’s not aligned correctly, you’ll end up wrestling with it, which I learned the hard way! -Jim

Reassuring Review: I recently purchased this boat cover, and I must say it has exceeded my expectations in every way. The fit of the cover is perfect; it snugly wraps around my boat, providing complete protection from the elements. This tailored fit not only looks great but also ensures that my boat stays clean and protected at all times. The finish of the cover feels durable, with a smooth texture and a sleek appearance. It adds a touch of elegance to my boat while serving its primary purpose of shielding it from sun, rain, and dust. Overall, I am highly satisfied with my purchase of this boat cover. It not only fits perfectly and looks fantastic but also offers long-lasting durability, making it a wise investment for any boat owner looking to keep their vessel in top condition.

In the pictures I haven’t installed all the included straps, I wanted to snap some pictures before I got dark. I hope the cover holds up well. -Luis

5. iCOVER Trailerable Boat Cover

iCOVER Trailerable Boat Cover

Highlight: The iCOVER Trailerable Boat Cover features heavy-duty, waterproof marine-grade fabric for all-season protection during storage and transport.

Constructive Review: Extremely surprised at how good this cover is. For around 60$ I wasn’t expecting much but there was a bad storm a few days out and this was one of the few covers that would show up in time. 1. This almost perfectly fits an antique StarCraft Chieftain boat that no one makes a cover for. 2 It just survived 70+ mph winds and quarter sized hail and doesn’t appear to have any rips and kept the windows on the boat from breaking. Hard to say how long it will last, but I don’t really care since it just weathered one of the worst storms of the year. I’ll update this review if it does or doesn’t survive the spring season. -Alex Ragains

Trending Review: At the time of this review the cover has only been on the boat a week. I’m giving it 5 stars, for now, for the following reasons…

Fit. I have a 17′ Bayliner capri bowrider w/ an outboard. If I wanted to adjust the front a little, this would cover from bow to prop. It almost covers the prop as it sits, but I’m afraid of the stress to the fabric against the prop blade. So, only the prop is exposed. I can’t comment on towing with this cover on and I never intend to.

Everything was included. Hey, you take a chance nowadays. Not with this company. It came packed in a bag with a drawstring. The straps were individually wrapped, wound and secured with a rubber band and in their own plastic bags. The cover was folded…much nicer than will it ever be folded again.

Quality. Fabric feels sturdy. I did tug on this fabric a bit, in the rear by the outboard, to see if I could stretch it over the prop enough to ease my worries. It didn’t rip. It didn’t feel like it was about to rip and I didn’t hear it complaining like it was going to rip either. The bow is easily distinguishable with this cover and there is an elastic band in the front (the elastic forms a triangle to grab the bow) which I found helpful, especially when putting a cover on alone. It’s a nice starting point and it doesn’t slip off when you pull the cover back. I like that the cover is reflective, despite it being silver in color. I understand reflecting the heat and whatnot, so we’ll see if it actually does it’s job. The straps worked very easily. They attach to the cover through a canvas loop that is sewn on to the cover. I didn’t notice anything remarkable while fastening the cover through these loops. They work and I didn’t notice any stress on the cover, after they were tightened, that would foreshadow a failure. Took less than two minutes to fasten all of them. Cinch style, but they don’t feel cheap. The plastic clip feels sturdy and releases without straining. I do question the durability of these clips when exposed to the elements for extended periods, but they can be replaced easily enough.

A couple of things to note. Already mentioned, I haven’t towed with the cover on and won’t unless absolutely needed so I can’t speak to that claim. My boat is smaller and the bimini top creates a (hopefully) perfect V shape that should expel water without use of a pole. This means the cover fits well enough that there isn’t a ton of sag. This also means their sizing chart is fairly accurate. You can see the centerline is pretty maxed covering the outboard and swimstep, but the beam has some give. I happened to get very lucky, but we all know these things vary. These pictures were taken before the cover was adjusted and strapped down.

I hope this helps. I will update this review if anything out of the ordinary happens. -ecKs

Reassuring Review: I have a 97 Searay bowrider, 19 ft with an out drive. This cover works perfectly for me. I don’t intend to drive anywhere with it on and it’s not in the sun. I store my boat in a warehouse but it gets pretty dirty from activity that goes on there. This is exactly what I wanted. I got the D cover which fits perfectly. It covers the swim platform and fits the nose well. It’s a bit big on the sides but I don’t expect a perfect fit. I also don’t care if the drive is covered or not. It comes with the straps but I don’t need to use them.

My cover that came from Sea Ray was a custom fit but cost $500.00. This one is a fraction of the cost. If I wanted one to tow with I would order a custom one. Actually most people say you shouldn’t tow with a cover anyway because the movement of the cover will scratch the gel coat. Anyway, very happy with this cover, I was worried it wouldn’t fit but it’s just what I need. -TimC

6. AngLink Waterproof Boat Cover

AngLink Waterproof Boat Cover

Highlight: AngLink Waterproof Boat Cover features ultra-durable, heavy-duty waterproof fabric with reinforced seams for maximum protection against harsh weather conditions.

Constructive Review: I got this cover as I towed my boat to Florida for a couple months, and set it up in outside storage. I wanted a cover to keep it dry and clean. So far, I am more than satisfied. I came back down after 3 weeks and 1 side filled up with water, as my boat doesn’t have great support. However, even with the strain of the pooled water, it held, didn’t rip and my boat is nice and dry inside. Also, my boat is a 14 ft. vee hull and this cover fits well over the sides. So no wind debris or dirt made it inside the boat. Perfect for what I needed. Karis

Trending Review: OMG! I am so lucky to find this boat cover. The price is excellent; because the quality is so good. The manufacturer used top quality materials and the craftsmanship is as good as any boat covers. I have been around boats my whole life. Protecting the boat from the elements is the number one precaution for all boat owners. Nothing is harder on a boat than the weather.

The very first thing that I noticed was the wonderful web storage bag it came in. Then the next and probably the best feature is the straps for this cover. These are not just rope and I did not even expect straps to come with it. The straps are plenty long enough for my 17′ aluminum boat with a modified hull and a 25 hp motor on the back.

The cover is long enough to lap over my trolling motor, outboard motor and the front of my trailer. My boat is not a run-a-bout. It’s a console so I was taking a chance the cover would not work. Well bless my soul, it’s a beautiful fit, as you can plainly see in my photographs. Since I have a trolling motor on the front of my boat, I pointed out the contact points. I will take the cover to my local upholstery shop and have a large piece of reinforced canvas added as a protective layer to protect it from tearing on the trolling motor or the front trailer hitch. I also provided pictures of the stitching. You can clearly see the double stitched lapping fabric.

I highly recommend this boat cover. It will be great for boat up to 18 feet long. It will also work great on a boat with console, like mine. This is a purchase you will not regret. One look and I think you will agree that the quality will protect the boat from the elements for several years. I think you will be happy that you found this cover and the price is awesome. -David L Hall

Reassuring Review: Okay so I haven’t tried multiple covers and I can’t say this is the BEST out there but first let me say that I am highly critical of the things I buy….especially on Amazon. I read all the description and a lot of reviews to try to determine if it really is as good as everyone may say. Quite a few times I receive a product and send it back because of one reason or another. This cover though, has EXCEEDED all my expectations!

I usually can find something negative about an item…some little thing I may dislike….something that doesn’t work just right… something that doesn’t fit or feel right. So when I leave reviews…I’m honest and say it as it is (no one has ever paid me for a review nor have I ever been sent anything free for a review). With that said, I love EVERYTHING about this cover.

Excellent quality and stitching. The cover is thick and durable. The straps are evenly placed along the sides and front and are very easy to use. It takes just a couple of minutes and I have the cover on. The length is perfect and fit well on my 1971 Ranger Boat…17 foot. ( I bought the 19.5) My boat is fiberglass and has a jon boat front….it’s not a V-bottom and not a tri-hull. I do have a trolling motor on the front and a Mercury Outboard on the back and it covered it all perfectly!

I am EXTREMELY SATISFIED and I would HIGHLY recommend this cover! -Marty

7. Mancro Boat Cover

Mancro Boat Cover

Highlight: The Mancro Boat Cover provides heavy-duty, waterproof, and UV-resistant protection designed to keep 17-19ft boats safe in all weather conditions.

Constructive Review: I bought the 20-22 ft for my 18.5 foot Tahoe T18 so it could cover the winch too. Fits perfect and withstood 2 huge rain storms that we had. Not a drop leaked and kept the completely boat dry. The material is very thick and the stitching is strong. The boat dealer wanted to charge me an additional $1500 for a cover when I bought the boat. I don’t know how much better it could’ve been than this cover for a fraction of the cost. The value and functionality make this boat cover perfect!!! -Zack

Trending Review: Great fit, great quality
,and great tie downs. I have a 2005 SeaRay 180 Sport IO. I have dad a few covers over my 20 years of ownership some for as much as 3 times the cost. I believe this is the best fitting with its elastic edge, the easiest tie down system to strap to my trailer, and the best fabrics with a coated back which I anticipate will be much less dusty inside and improved water proofing. Looks great too. I was hesitant when ordering as I have an IO and the description said universal fit and included out boards. But the fit on my boat is fantastic. I wound highly recommend this boat cover. -Royal Lloyd

Reassuring Review: I just got my cover and I was struck by several things. It was packaged extremely well. It came with a mesh bag. That was not a cheap piece of crap you get from most companies. I’ll actually be able to reuse it! The cover was a little long for my boat because it is a jet boat and has an odd shape. But I was able to secure it very easily because of the numerous straps that were very well placed around the cover. And the cover isn’t cheaply made either. Frankly, I don’t know how they do it at that price. I recommend them highly. I’m fairly confident this will last quite a while. -Neil Renvyle

8. GEARFLAG Trailerable Boat Cover

GEARFLAG Trailerable Boat Cover

Highlight: Durable, waterproof, and custom-fit, the GEARFLAG Trailerable Boat Cover offers superior protection with easy installation for hassle-free towing and storage.

Constructive Review: My boat came with a fitted cover that is excellent. The downside of the fitted cover is that it is too cumbersome to use during the boating season. I keep the boat under a Shelterlogic garage and I needed a cover just to keep cats and debris out. This cover is excellent for that purpose. I drape the cover over the boat and do not set it up to be watertight. I will say that this cover is well crafted and of good quality lightweight material easy to use. To use the cover to keep rainwater out a pole and strap system would be needed. -John R.

Trending Review: This cover perfectly fit my boat and was very secure with only the straps which came with it. The more expensive cover it replaced had to have rope and bungee cords to supplement the ones they provided.
The construction of the cover looks excellent. I’ll try to remember to update this in the spring to let you know how it weathered a cold illinois winter.

Note: there is no outboard motor cover provided with this as shown in the photo. It was the one thing worth keeping from the old cover. -George

Reassuring Review: We have a 19 ft deep V fishing boat on a lift under a covered dock and wanted something to protect the boat for short term use. The factory cover that came with the boat was too heavy to manage for taking on and off frequently. Will use the heavy one for winter storage or trailering. This lighter cover works great for our needs and the size was surprisingly perfect. (Our boat measures 19 ft long and 101 in beam) The straps attach to the lift very easily so we can take it on and off without difficulty. The elastic around the edge seems to be good quality and will hopefully last. -Mary C

9. Seamander Waterproof Boat Cover

Seamander Waterproof Boat Cover2

Highlight: Seamander Waterproof Boat Cover delivers durable, reliable all-weather protection.

Trending Review: I have bought a few of these. Lately I also put a tarp over the cover though. This is water repellant but if water starts pooling it will make its way through this cover. Also stay away from the lighter colors. I usually but the darker ones but I thought a lighter color would stay cooler. The lighter colors let more light in and my interior started to yellow a bit. At least in my experience. -James

Reassuring Review: Reviewing this boat cover on my 20ft Proline WA after 4 months of winter. This cover held up well with 6-8 inches of snow on it during two snow storms. I was impressed that no seams split with all that extra weight on it. I did remove most snow when the weather permitted to reduce the stress on the cover.

More impressive is that it remained water proof the whole time. When the snow melted there were couple of spots that held up to 6 inches of water on the cover but no water leaked through the cover that I could see. Only con is that there is no cut-out on the cover for the outboard motor so the cover ends up going over the motor which leaves gaps at the back transom. Not a big deal as it allows me to peek inside to see if all is good under the cover. Will definitely buy again when this one wears out. -James Passarelle

10. MSC Heavy Duty Oxford Polyester Made Trailerable Boat Cover

MSC Heavy Duty Oxford Polyester Made Trailerable Boat Cover

Highlight: Durable and weather-resistant, the MSC Heavy Duty Oxford Polyester Trailerable Boat Cover offers superior protection with a secure, custom-like fit for all-season use.

Constructive Review: Update: Wow, this cover is amazing. 2 yrs and 3 months and it still looks brand new – see new pics. No fading, stitches are all great, etc. Everything below is still true!

Original review: It’s been almost a year, and there is no sign of any deterioration. All of the threads and seams are still solid. No fraying or fading anywhere. No deterioration of the tiedowns. I consider this a great success.

It was subjected to snow in the winter and a lot of sun. We also get occasional heavy winds, 30 to 45 miles an hour. It doesn’t hold the moisture in the boat, the boat is very dry inside (although we have quite low humidity most of the time here.)

There is no discernible difference between the side that is in the sun all day and the side that is mostly in the shade. I.e. the lower parts.

Under the tarp, I did provide cushioning for any where there is a sharp edge. So the wind wouldn’t flop around and make it tear. And there’s a board supporting down the middle at the top so that it won’t pool up water or too much snow. -Methew

Trending Review: I literally tried 5 covers for my boat. The first 2 were not from this seller and felt cheap and weak. Numbers 3-5 were from this seller, it took me a few tries to get the size right. I had no problems with returning it a couple times. This is the most durable feeling cover I’ve tried and it’s definitely waterproof, the anchors feel solid, etc. I’m happy with it. In my case, I eventually ended up figuring my windshield into the centerline AND beam measurements.

For a 14.5’ 1977 chaparral about 70” wide I ended up liking the fit of the 16.5’-18’ with 94” width best. Last tip, cut a slit down the length of a pool noodle and use it to cover sharp edges like the top of your windshield and trolling motor prop, it makes installing much easier and I assume would help increase the lifespan of any cover. 10/10: would definitely recommend this seller and product. Matt P

Reassuring Review: I bought this for my 2001 Skeeter SL190 fish and ski. The boat is technically 18.5 inches. I probably could’ve gotten away with the 17 to 19 foot option. But because of the rear ladder and trolling motor overhang, I decided to go with Model F (19-20’). It fits good and has held up to some pretty big storms. I’ve also put towels on the sharp rubbing areas to prevent tearing overtime. It’s been on the boat off and on for a few months now. No discoloration or wearing present so far. -Tyler Matsumoto
