1. LANGGER V Biometric Slider Handgun Gun Safe

LANGGER V Biometric Slider Handgun Gun Safe

Highlight: Quick-access fingerprint scanner with stealthy under-desk mounting – ideal for fast, discreet handgun storage.

Constructive Review: If you are looking for a safe, secure way to place your handgun, and in case a situation arises where you need quick access to your gun and magazine this safe is it. It’s awesome! I have this gun safe mounted on a side table next to our bed. It’s a quick access to your handgun and fingers that I had registered to this gun safe works great every time I try it. The number code works well too. What I like the most is when you activate the safe with your finger or number code this unit opens quickly and quietly slides straight out. Easy access to your gun quickly and most importantly QUIETLY! You will not regret this purchase. Also like the registering process. Customer service looks to be easy access even though I have no need to reach them at this time I feel it will be easy to connect with them if you do. -D.Wright

Trending Review: Quieter than other safes. My Hellcat Pro fits perfect and with the touch of your finger, your firearm will come out immediately. Great quality and easy to mount. When programming fingerprint, you have to be fast, as the instructions state. Safe has opened every time I used the reader and keypad. A determined thief will be able to remove this safe if you are not home (that’s what your big safe is for) but, it will keep your grandchildren and others from access to your firearm when you have guests. Just ordered a 2nd one and plan to find a way to direct mount it without the bracket. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a mounted pistol sized safe. Michael D

Reassuring Review: Solid, excellent fingerprint recognition and memory, easy to mount and use. Good backup options to access. I did research before settling on this model. Much better than rather good ones I purchased around 9 years ago. Price a factor, but security and emergency access ability was more important to me. Mount allows for a wide variety of location options. I placed in a non-traditional location with a bit of woodwork added to a metal frame. The slide drawer works smoothly and the combination or print quickly activates it. Plenty of room for my 1911 and extra .45 x 8 magazine. Emergency flashlight sits on top. -Ronh

2. XDeer S10 Biometric Gun Safes for Pistols

XDeer S10 Biometric Gun Safes for Pistols

Highlight: XDeer S10 Biometric Gun Safe offers lightning-fast fingerprint recognition in under 0.1 seconds for instant access when it matters most.

Constructive Review: When I received it, I found it a nice gun safe that I would love. The case is made of black matte metal. It can easily put up at your drawer next to you bed. Easy to set up. It has a special easy-to-install loop to lock on your closet.

I test it and I can be opened with your finger, the code or the key. As a habit, I put it next to your bed because it is good way to Fast open in particularly at the night. It can be easily fit into a draw. Perfect size. I can put 1 or 2 firearms in it. I used it to store one piece of pistol and 2 magazines in case of emergency. It is perfect and wouldn’t be opened mistakenly by someone else. Especially it prevents kids from mis-opening it. I guess this really put me in safe heaven.

The gun safe is made of matte metals, which feels very good when your hand touch it. It is also solidly strong. I do not think dropping it or hammering it can damage it.

The gun safe is powered by 4 AAA battery, commonly available. Last but not the least, I would suggest you put the gun safe key at a good place. Because when the AAA battery is out, the only way to open it and resupply the battery is to use your key. Otherwise, I guess there is no way for your to open the safe easily as it is so tough. I like it and use it at my final defense for my family safety!!! -Zhao Min

Trending Review: This is an updated review after I had issues with the biometric reader not working. After contacting support, they gave me helpful hints on how to make it work better. At the same time, they also sent me a replacement. What I realize after their help is to program the same finger multiple times. I was programming each of my fingers twice, in case the others didn’t work. This is totally wrong. Mr. Anthony of support suggested I program the same finger multiple times and NOT different fingers. Therefore, that’s what I did. I programmed my right and left thumbs 10x each and it’s now working flawlessly.

I had purchased three before and was going to return them because of the biometric. In the end, I kept all three because this safe is well built and heavy duty ~11lbs! You’re not going to get a better built safe in this price range. Lastly, this safe has two latches to lock the door, when similar safes have only one latch.

Now I figured out the biometric because of the awesome support, I highly recommend this safe!
On another positive note, my cat loves this box as his bed. When he hears the box, he comes running. I’ve to make sure he’s not around. -Jade The Husky

Reassuring Review: Its room enough for 2 full sized weapons and their spare magazines, and I’m even able to fit my smaller P365 X in there with the other two when I head to the range. The bad reviews here complained of some of the battery drainage issues, and finger print function, but you’re able to have something like 28 fingerprints stored, so I’ve done multiple duplicates of the same finger, just at different angles. And I like there’s a combo feature available too. Ya got to think, if there’s blood on your hands, the biometric is not going to work. It’s nice to have a code to bypass that feature. They also give you a cord in case your batteries run out to connect your safe to an outlet, and finally there’s a key to bypass all. But as far as quickness and ease of use, I’d highly recommend this. If you happen to get one of the very few that has a battery draining defect, I’d personally just exchange it — it’s worth it. An exchange is relatively easy and doesn’t take much effort. With anything, there’s going to be a few that are a bit out of whack. Unfortunately, that’s just how electronics are these days. I give it 10/10! -James

3. BILLCONCH Biometric Pistol Safe for Handgun

BILLCONCH Biometric Pistol Safe for Handgun

Highlight: The BILLCONCH Biometric Pistol Safe offers ultra-fast unlocking for instant handgun retrieval when seconds matter.

Constructive Review: I am very happy with this gun safe! It works great and I love the biometric feature. It is very secure and is easy to use, even in the dark it is easy to access without needing a light.
Also, I had a concern with my safe. I emailed Bill Conch. They responded very quickly. They helped resolve my concern professionally and quickly. Thank you Bill Conch. Five Stars and more!!!! Without hesitation, I recommend the product and the service that backs the product. -Jared Hardy

Trending Review: One night I awoke to a loud THUMP as the front door hit the end of the security latch to stop the door from completely opening. The house alarm sounded and instantly I knew someone was trying to come through the front door into our family’s sanctuary. My heart was racing as I came from dreamland to reality. Within seconds I was trying to open my gun safe by pressing all 7 digits into the keypad as fast as possible, and if you incorrectly input one of the numbers, you got it, you have to start over. Trust me, under high stress, it felt like an eternity to get across the bedroom, punch in the code numbers, open the safe, and grab my firearm as a first responder. After this experience, I learn a lot of the “Do’s and Don’ts”. I decided that I never wanted to be put in the situation again of not getting to my firearm quickly. So I bought this safe, and it has been a great night stand safe for a firearm that is within arms length at night. The best feature is the fingerprint option to open it quickly. Now I have peace of mind that the firearm is inaccessible from the children, but quickly accessible for me or my wife if the need arises again. If you are looking for a safe when things go THUMP in the night, this is the one to buy.

For transparency, I did have a problem with the security cable so I contacted the company. They were very quick to respond and rectified the problem promptly and respectfully. Kudos to the great customer service. Thanks Sally! -Flip

Reassuring Review: I have been back and forth about a gun safe for a while and decided to pull the trigger on this one. I am so glad I did. The setup is easy for both the actual safe and the app, it is made of good quality, and the material is very good. The noise level when pressing buttons and when it opens is minimal, the multiple types of access makes it very convenient! Overall I think it is a very good investment for a very reasonable price. My only issue is to wake the system and after inputting the code, you have to hit the enter button. I would rather the first button you touch wakes the system, and once the correct code is entered it just opened and you didn’t have to hit the enter button. The app is very rudimentary which in both good and bad I think. A definite recommend if you are in the market for one. -Gregory

4. RPNB Gun Safe for Handgun

RPNB Gun Safe for Handgun

Highlight: Quick-access biometric scanner unlocks in under one second for instant, secure handgun retrieval.

Constructive Review: I got this for a couple reasons, 1st the most basic, to lock up my gun.

I had gotten one of the combination dial lock boxes here, about $25 to use in my car. You know when at work, the bank, post office, etc. anywhere you aren’t allowed to carry. One day the lock just fell apart, due to a plastic part inside the lock.

I tried a snap on box that was a 14 or 16 gauge steel, but would pop open due to inertia when dropped from about thigh high. I sent that back, but really like the electronic lock feature, like what I have at home. I wound up with a keyed Lock box, very strong, 14 gauge steel, but I still favored the electronic opening, with a key option.

I had seen these for some time, the cheaper single gun one actually has more reviews, all of the RPNB boxes/safes look to have good ratings. I figured I would try one.

I chose this one as it looks to hold 2 guns with spare mags, all still in the holster. Very important. Some of the boxes are too thin to accept a holstered weapon. So what do you do with the holster? I would have preferred 3 electronic keys, but 4 is doable. I think most people would prefer 4 buttons over 3.

I got this home, I set and tried the combination many times, it worked good. The keys/buttons light up and beep as you press them. I am fine this way or silent. You can silence the beeps by the way. It’s not in the instructions, but I searched online. It also shows how in the video on the Amazon web site when you read the description.

You can toggle beep, or silent by pressing and holding the #1 button for a few seconds. All the keys light up and your preference is locked in. The lights will still flash in either setting.

When the code is entered the lid pops open slightly, not a bunch, so you do have to open it.

Good news! I tried drooping this thing on each side 3 times to insure it would stay locked. It does, YAY!, no way easy to break into here.

The electronics are programmed by you using a 4 to 6 number sequence. The default is 1,2,3,4 in that order. Which is replaced when you set the code combination you want to use.

More good news, When you program your code, this one goes away. Well DUH, right? Some boxes keep the default code too, not good.

I can easily fit 2 pistols in here, and a spare magazine for both, with all 4 items holstered. There is even a little room for a flashlight. Nice!

One more thing, this comes with mounting bolts, and also pre-drilled holes under the egg crate foam to secure this. There is also a cable to secure it to something stationary in you car or house. It clips in the small hole towards the back, by the hinge to hold the cable in place. Another plus for this box. (Versus being towards the end that opens)

Ok, so I decided I have to keep this thing, it checks all my boxes, what about yours?

The only thing I would like to change is 14 or even 12 gauge steel vs the 16, but it is still a quality box, Well worth the price of admission.

If you want a less expensive and smaller option the RPNB box for a single handgun is available here too. That one uses an RFID tag as well. I was torn between trying both of these,

I have had this just a few weeks, but looks to be a solid choice. -Martman

Trending Review: I’ve seen complaints about the battery life, well, I purchased this in April of 2020 and have not changed my batteries yet. I only opened in up about once a month most of those years, but for the last few months I open it every night. I moved to where we have bear and cougars so when I take the trash to the barn at night, I take my gun with me. Because of this every night usage, I figured the batteries would die soon, but not yet. The batteries I used were Amazon basic and they were installed 4/9/2020.

The safe opens every time first try, shuts easy, I have nothing I can find that would be a con. -Baryan G

Reassuring Review: This is a great little safe for anyone looking for something that will hold one large gun and a few mags, a few medium sized guns, or even just small personal belongings. This safe is very easy to setup and only takes a minute or two to setup fingerprint and code. I will be posting videos in the next day or two so people can rely on those for trouble shooting or if they just don’t like reading lol. I highly recommend this safe to anyone with a smaller budget but still want their gun safe away from kids eyes and also have easy access for yourself if ever need be.

I have no real complaints about this safe other than some personal preferences but dont change my view on the safe any to leave a different review. First preference would be that the light is centered on safe or even two lights instead of the one light on right side. The other is the battery cover. Easy as can be to take off but took a minute to get it back on but other than that no complaints. A few little side notes: I used Harbor Freight batteries for photos which I recommend you DO NOT use! It’s the only batteries I could find. Make sure to use good quality batteries so battery life is longer. For those wondering the guns used in photos that’s a Glock 19, Taurus G2C, and a Ruger LC9S. All fit with a little room to spare. Ric Noble

5. XDeer S005 Biometric Gun Safe for Pistols

XDeer S005 Biometric Gun Safe for Pistols

Highlight: XDeer S005 Biometric Gun Safe offers ultra-fast fingerprint recognition in under 0.1 seconds, ensuring instant access when every second counts.

Constructive Review: Great little safe that I installed near a rear entry door. Large enough to keep my EDC kit options in one place away from kids hands.

I keep a .45 and 9mm, two spare mags for each firearm, my EDC knife, and a small tactical flashlight. It is a tight fit, but it does all go in to my wall mounted set up. I’ll likely add some 1.5”-2” foam with custom cutouts, but for now it works as needed. I also throw spare keys into the safe so they are not just hanging on a peg or sitting in a drawer.

Fingerprint reader was easy to set up. I’ve tried my non-programmed fingers, all the kids fingers, and a few friends… it never opens for anyone except me.

Digit code lock was similarly easy to program / reprogram. 3-6 digits permitted; only thing that could use improvement here is if you use a combo that is short (3 digits), the lock will beep if you hit 3 incomplete buttons letting someone know how many digits your combo is. Easy solution is just use six digits and you have a combo with 46,000+ possible ciphers.

Mounting to the wall was simple and the hardware was included inside the safe. Super surprised they included hardware for it. I opted to use a better, beefier anchor to make it more secure, but the included hardware would be adequate to mount it safely.

One review mentioned that the security cord hole has a direct line of sight to the pin reset button. True; however the safe includes a tamper proof cover that fastens from the inside the blocks the hole and makes the reset button inaccessible unless the safe is open.

Now, this is no replacement for a good fireproof vault. It wont make it through a fire. Don’t store important documents, cash, jewelry in here as a permanent solution. A determined person could break it open with enough time. But for my purposes – secure firearms from kids and smash/grab type home robberies – there isn’t a better way to spend a single C-note. Definitely recommend this safe. Wish they made a shotgun-sized version to put in the bedroom for my home defense 12-gauge. -SkiBreck

Trending Review: This safe is great for my needs. It stores my 9mm handgun and plenty of ammunition. I wanted a secure safe so only I have access. Had a slight problem setting it up. At first it would not take my number combination. I reloaded 4 different batteries then it worked as expected. I set up a numerical combination and also fingerprint access. When setting up the fingerprint access I positioned my finger a little bit differently each of the six times as suggested on a video I saw on YouTube. I have seen other reviews that complain that the fingerprint access is not consistent. This is not the case for me. The fingerprint access works every time. Ron

Reassuring Review: This a great gun vault to safely store multiple firearms. I’ve had it for nearly a year now. The biometric fingerprint reader functions nearly flawlessly, about the same reliability as an iPhone or MacBook Air print reader. When it does hiccup because of sweaty hands, the digital combination or key will unlock it with no issues.

The XDeer S005 easily fits a couple compact pistols (like Sig P320, Glock 19), plus room for numerous magazines, tactical lights, etc, and that’s just on the bottom ‘layer’. There’s enough top-to-bottom depth that I’ve been able to, on occasion, lay a J-frame revolver on top the other two pistols and magazines and secure them all.

It’s a quality product – no regrets on making that purchase! -Mark Ziegler

6. awesafe Biometric Gun Safes for Pistols

awesafe Biometric Gun Safes for Pistols

Highlight: Awesafe Biometric Gun Safe offers lightning-fast fingerprint access in under 2 seconds, perfect for quick and secure handgun retrieval.

Constructive Review: So first off, I was most worried if my firearm would fit, even with listed dimensions. I have been bit on this before with other products. What you see in the photo, fitting perfectly I might add, is a Sig Sauer P220 Elite .45 acp. Darn near 8 inches long with beaver tail. It fit with room to spare for at LEAST 4 spare magazines or various other items. My second concern was would it fit nicely underneath the driver seat of my Jeep Grand Cherokee. It DOES! I wanted this safe to put my firearm when I make visits to places that do not allow firearms inside, such as the hospitals. Unfortunately with my boys, we seem to be there quite a bit. So this met my big 2 requirements. The setup is truly simplistic. Even if you have no experience with these types of safes. Install batteries, push a setup button, push 1, push in your 6 digit code.

Done! Be sure to keep your keys separate and NOT in the safe. You will need them if the batteries go dead on you! The safe seems very sturdy, but I have no plans to test that theory. Lol. The buttons give off a nice soft blue light after the first button is pushed. Perfect for entering the code at night, should you need your firearm. There is also a soft blue light inside the safe when you open it. Inside there is a nice soft material to keep your firearm from being scratched. It does NOT compress the firearm between two sides of foam. So it will NOT keep your firearm from bouncing around inside. However, I don’t see why you couldn’t cut your own foam if you desired. Long story short, for the price of this safe, it’s functionality, sizing, durability, it is a no brainer. It is the best safe of this type that I have ever owned. Buy it! -Todd J. Thompson

Trending Review: I spent several hours reading reviews of different gun safes on multiple web sites before selecting the Awsafe’s 2 gun safe. There are many good safes out there but the Awsafe meet my criteria for sturdiness, fingerprint reader with backup, physical size and price. Bottom line, for the price you can’t go wrong.

The safe easily fits my full size 9MM and my 380 along with 2 mags. At only 3″ high I can fit it in a drawer. It does need to sit back in the drawer in order to use the fingerprint reader and key. The doors opens smoothly with the gas cylinder but the unlock sound could be quieter. Also, you have to push down hard to engage the lock.

What I really like is that the set up button is located inside behind the battery box and the lock mechanism is well protected so destruction is the only way in. Other safes had flaws that would allow access to one or the other thus making entry easier.

Set-up was very simple and, taking my time, had it dune in a half hour. The only issue I had was that the instructions call for a 4 number code but don’t discuss pressing 2 numbers at the same time. If you press 2 numbers at the same time that counts as 2 numbers. Not big deal but would have saved me a couple tries. The fingerprint reader, once set up, works great as long as your finger is in the same spot.

Overall, it’s not Fort Knox but then again none of them are. I believe it will keep my guns reasonable safe and that’s as what counts. -Dave

Reassuring Review: This gun safe is a top choice for secure firearm storage, especially with our children in the home. It safely holds a large pistol and two to three magazines within the storage, giving you peace of mind. The biometric unlocking method works well. You may have to wipe (I use alcohol pads) the biometric sensors each time before and after you use it to prevent it from not recognizing your fingerprints. The backlit on the manual keypad, provides a soft brightness to ensure you can access it quickly and reliably in the dark. The gas strut and LED soft lighting within the storage area make single-handed access easy and discreet, perfect for bedside placement. It is easy to bolt down to any anything. We have bolted ours in our bedside night stands for quick and easy access. Built from solid steel with a pry-resistant door, it’s designed to be tough and secure. Plus, the reliable customer service backs up any concerns. Highly recommend for anyone needing a dependable, safe firearm storage solution! -Kelly & Koren Johnston (KJ)

7. BILLCONCH Biometric Gun Safe for Pistols

BILLCONCH Biometric Gun Safe for Pistols

Highlight: Ultra-fast fingerprint recognition unlocks in just 0.5 seconds for instant, secure access to your pistol.

Constructive Review: Fantastic pistol safe.
The fingerprint digital pin works great and it is wide enough to hold a single large-frame pistol
The advertising photos show two smaller framed firearms, but that’s pushing it in my opinion. I was barely able to fit a CANIK TP9SF in there with an extra magazine without the hinges hitting the pistol. It’s ok because it fits, but just barely. Directions are simple and easy to follow and once all is done you can even silence the “beeping” if it bothers you. The rechargeable battery life has not been tested, but as with anything time will tell. I’ll re-post (if I remember) when it runs out. Other than that, it is just a no-frills nightstand safe that most gun owners can use to keep tiny hands off the firearms that keep us safe at night. Excellent product. -Ozzie

Trending Review: For starters **all those looking for the Silent Mode, it DOES exist. *Press OK-1-OK to activate and deactivate Silent Mode* I found that via YouTube comments on a video**. I included a video in my review to show this.

It works pretty well, it’s not perfect but one can’t expect perfection out of a $75 safe, especially not one with features that are usually in safes at least double the price.

The keys are well made and work just as well. I personally love that the rechargeable battery is removable and replaceable with a standard size you can find elsewhere (instructions include specific specs for the battery in case you need to replace it). It’s very convenient to have the recharging too rather than having to have batteries on hand.

The keypad works great as well, opens very consistently every time with the key pad. Only able to use a 6-digit passcode, I’m not a fan of the lack of ability to change that but again it’s a $75 safe. I don’t mind it, especially since I will primarily use the fingerprint scanner.

Speaking of which, the fingerprint scanner works very well for the price. It can be finicky if you have anything on your fingers (whether it’s the oil on your fingers is built up, or you’ve got sweaty hands, etc). But, in my experience so far, it has opened pretty consistently (best results have been with my thumbs personally, but others work too).

Make sure when setting up your fingerprints to *follow the instructions*, that is the majority of people having issues with these: not following the set-up directions properly.

That being said, it’s fancy for the price, but not too fancy. For a $75 safe, it’s phenomenal and that’s why it has 5 stars for me. It’s very functional and has a lot of great features above its price point. The limitations and mild finickiness I can look over easily considering the price. It will keep people away from accessing your firearms, and let the right people access them consistently. As long as you do your part, both in set-up and knowing how to handle its mild limitations, it will serve its purpose very well for you. -David T

Reassuring Review: 100% satisfied. Excellent product that is easy to set up. Great instructions that were large enough to read were simple to follow. Well-made product with an interior light and felt to protect against scratches. Is large enough to hold my S&W Governor. -John E. Day

8. HOLEWOR Biometric Gun Safes for Pistols

HOLEWOR Biometric Gun Safes for Pistols

Highlight: HOLEWOR Biometric Gun Safe features ultra-fast fingerprint recognition with secure steel construction for quick, reliable access in emergencies.

Constructive Review: I originally got this for my father as a gift but after setting it up for him I saw how well made and nice it was so I bought one for myself too! If I had any criticisms they’re such minor things that I still have to give it 5 stars! Here are the minor cons if you can even call them that, they’re really just preferences:
1.) The swing-open speed is so powerful when it’s unlocked that it can move the entire gun safe back a little cause the weight isn’t heavy where the hinge is but it doesn’t bother me at all just an observation.
2.) there’s no way to make the numbers glow before entering the passcode so when you’re in a pitch black room you have to first feel the buttons and hope you got the correct first passcode number entered otherwise it will register your first attempt as incorrect which makes you take a little longer opening it in an emergency, this issue could be a problem but hopefully you are smart enough to practice opening it quick anyway so as long as you’re the type to have emergency practice drills you’ll be fine. In the same category of light, I’d prefer the lights to stay on a little longer after opening to allow for proper visibility inside to make it easier to see the gun, ammunition and spare magazines while preparing the gun or at the least seeing everything available for a quicker response. Even if it just gave us a light on timer choice like 3 seconds/5 seconds/10 seconds et cetera. Not a big deal but would’ve been nice.
3.) This one I actually don’t mind at all but I’m sure there are some people who would have at least preferred the option, the clock only shows in Military time which is easy to figure out but I can see it being annoying for some.

Other than those little things this gun safe is perfect for what I needed it for and I enjoy using it very much! So well made and I even gently took off the letters with my fingernails to give it a fully matte black finished look so that when people who visit my father see it on his nightstand next to the bed they won’t be able to look up the company and know for sure that it’s a gun safe, I prefer that awareness to be at his own personal discretion. This was all my very long winded way of saying buy this product I highly recommend it! -Rick

9. ONNAIS Iron SE Biometric Gun Safe

ONNAIS Iron SE Biometric Gun Safe

Highlight: Lightning-fast fingerprint recognition with advanced anti-tamper security for quick and reliable handgun access.

Constructive Review: I purchased this gun safe through Amazon because of the price and what the features had to offer. I found similar items in big box stores but they were a lot more expensive and they weren’t as nice as this one I felt. I installed this underneath my bed I brought it to the floor and have a fire arm ready to go inside of it along with some extra cash and other small valuables. It’s very simple to use it has either a number keypad, a key, or when I like the most biometric fingerprint. It has quick accessibility in case I need it. I had some questions and I contacted customer service they responded right away they were very helpful and very simple to work with they made buying an item very easy and enjoyable. I recommend getting one of these if you have firearms throughout the house. Maxx

Trending Review: This lock box/ safe has been fantastic. It opens consistently and has a lot of room in it. I can fit 2 pistols. I currently have a full size a mag, paperwork and some cash in it. If you’re looking for a clean, easy to use product that is pretty solid. This is it. Now, is it a hard core safe, no. Can it be picked, maybe but I tried lots of ways and it never opened.
I have a house full of teens so keeping my guns away from curious teens is important. This does the job.
It’s been 2 years. I locked myself out. Changed batters and updated the code…I thought. Wasn’t paying attention a got locked out. Can’t find the keys (moved twice).
Reached out to support, 2 years later mind you. They responded the next day and gave me a way to get it done. I’m back up and running. Awesome!! -Ian Hall

Reassuring Review: Coming in at almost 7lbs. the ONNAIS Large Biometric Gun Safe is very sturdy and feels very durable! If this thing were to be thrown out of a building i would expect hardly any damage to come of it! let alone it opening by the impact.. this thing is built to withstand some significant damage if someone tried to break into it! ohh and good luck to them trying to steal it if you have the steel tether cable attached to it, that thing ain’t going no where!
I love that there are multiple unlocking features just in case the battery was to die or the fingerprint would not be recognized. I also love the Light feature that lights up the box upon opening it! super beneficial during nighttime operation. it is definitely large enough to hold the 4 regular sized pistols as depicted, or just 1-2 pistols and some extra ammo/attachments. as long as the size fits the space you are looking to store it, this is a heck of a purchase to fill the need!! -Cory Beckman

Constructive Review: I bought this safe because we now have 4 grandchildren who like to explore our house. I found the safe easy to set up and use. I did initially have a question about the safe. I emailed support and they responded within 24 hours and were very helpful. Setting up a 5 number PIN was easy. Also setting up your fingerprint access was equally as easy. Actually the fingerprint access works better than the fingerprint access to my I Pad. The safe comes with a cable which allows you to secure it to a bed post or you can screw it to the floor of your room. It also comes with a large gray bag that fits into the safe. It appears to be a Faraday Bag. I plan on buying a few more of these to place around my house to secure the rest of my guns. The price is unbeatable. -Claire Boldrick

Trending Review: Well on my 3rd time of reprogramming safe, numeric function works fine but fingerprint reader is so far sub par, I’m going to work with this another day but if I can not get reader to work properly, I’m going to return it for a refund and buy from another company. I bought this first to make sure that my grandchildren can’t access my pistol, now in other reviews I hear complaints that it’s easy to break into with a nail file, that I find to be absurd. The safe is well built and isn’t made to keep out criminals, it’s to keep the gun away from a child more or less, if you want to keep someone from stealing your gun then I suggest that you get a regular safe, but back to my complaint fingerprint reader must work properly so that I can quickly access the firearm in case of an emergency, I’m really hoping that I can get it to work properly, I’d rather not return it, it is a nicely built safe.I returned safe, only to receive the safe with damage to the box.

Hoping that safe wouldn’t be damaged I opened box used key to start as normal and I could tell immediately the door opened improperly, also closed improperly. started a new return. Now I don’t know if I’m willing to take the chance on purchasing another, it’s like a shot in the dark. This is not the manufacturers fault this is on Amazon, in my opinion damaged boxes should be set aside and inspected before shipment. This company has the greatest customer service, after each review they had contacted me by email. After 2 bad safes sent to me by Amazon they decided to send me a gun safe free of charge, thankfully the third safe works flawlessly, after several days using fingerprint reader I am completely satisfied with my gun safe. I hope that everyone gets a good safe. It may have very well been that the first safe had been mishandled and the second one most definitely had been mishandled. AINIRO is a good company and as I said their customer service is just impeccable THANK YOU AINIRO for taking care of me. I am considering getting a second one for my wife. Scott Byers

Reassuring Review: I recently purchased the Biometric Gun Safe for Handgun, and I couldn’t be happier with my purchase. This safe has truly impressed me with its advanced features, solid construction, and ease of use.

The biometric fingerprint scanner is lightning-fast and incredibly accurate. Setting up my fingerprints was a breeze, and now I can access my handguns and other valuables in a matter of seconds without the hassle of remembering a combination or fumbling with keys. The responsive scanner recognizes my fingerprints reliably, making it an ideal solution for quick access during emergencies.

The build quality of this gun safe is outstanding. The steel construction feels robust and durable, providing the peace of mind I need to store my firearms securely. The interior is well-padded to prevent any scratches or damage to my handguns, and the compact size makes it easy to place on a shelf.

One feature I particularly appreciate is the discreet silent mode. This is especially useful if I need to access my firearms during the night without alerting anyone nearby.

I’ve been using this gun safe for a few months now, and the battery life has been impressive. It gives me confidence that even in situations where power might be out for an extended period, my firearms will remain accessible. Additionally, the backup key option is there for added peace of mind.

In summary, the Biometric Gun Safe for Handgun is a fantastic investment for firearm owners who value both security and quick access. Its biometric technology, durable construction, and thoughtful features make it a top-tier choice. I highly recommend this safe to anyone in need of a secure and convenient storage solution for their handguns. -Hannah

Constructive Review: If you have a gun , you need to keep it safe ! This is perfect for any occasion weather you have kids or not . No one could get into this except the people you allow to , it opens up fast for my finger print , it memorizes more than one finger print if you want it to and also has a back up code you can enter if needed for any reason as well as a key so you have 3 options to get in . It lights up inside so you can see it in the dark . I keep it right next to my bed in case I ever need it . I’ve got 3 kids and I needed to make sure they can’t get in it so I had other people try an get in an use their finger print and it does not work for them , only mine . It looks very nice to and heavy duty. Great price nothing can beat protecting yourself a the people around you by having one but also by keeping it put away . -Randa

Trending Review: This is the thickest steel and heaviest personal defense safe I have found or owned. I have several including a Gun Vault mini for many years. I tried the Gun Vault micro (perfect size for a vehicle IMO) but I returned it as the micro’s lid did not pop open far enough for my liking and I often hit the lid and locked it again trying to open!

WORD OF CAUTION – You MUST clear all finger prints (see manual) for the biometric function to work properly or yes ANY finger or object on the sensor will work. My guess it is set to ANY mode from the factory so the safe can be opened while being manufactured and not accidentally locked with the keys inside. Also put the safe in the location to be used before recording finger prints and do several.

This safe is a little large for most vehicles and I believe they have a slightly smaller version. This will definitely hold 2 full framed autos.
I have used many biometric devices and this is one of the best for my finger prints I have used and my hands are always rough from working. None are 100% but it also has the key pad and key.
I do like the ability to turn on and off the sound but if you do then you will also not hear any error beeps (incorrect key pad entries or biometrics) so I’m leaving it on.

My only concern is the longevity of the unlocking mechanism. My Gun Vault mini has a simple electric release but this safe sounds like it has an electric motor that rotates to unlock. I personnally like the loud noise this safe makes openning as I do the sound of a 12 gauge pump!  JFixit

Reassuring Review: I do like this safe quite a bit. I have several others and this one is slightly bigger than those and accommodates a full size and midsize pistol comfortably. I think it could hold 3 firearms, but they would all have to be compacts or micro firearms. Dimensions are roughly 14 inches wide by 11 inches long and 3-3 1/2 inches deep. The biometric scanner works great, and it comes with 2 sturdy keys for key opening as well. I have not yet used the digital combination lock so I can’t comment on that yet, but I think it will work as advertised. It is very sturdy and locks well. I’m not worried at all about any of my children being able to get into it without possessing the keys. I do believe it is DOJ certified as well. Overall, I think it was an excellent buy especially for the price I paid. The one knock I have on it is the foam padding on the door is thin and held on by double sided tape, so it kept falling off. It was very simple to take some Elmers clear glue and apply to the tape stuck on the door and glue the foam pad down. Make sure to glue it so it fits perfectly into the cutout of the door like a puzzle piece fitting together. I’ve had zero issues since gluing the door foam down. I would buy another one if needed which it most likely will be sometime in the near future. -C. Barnes
