1. Summit Treestands Viper SD Climbing Treestand

Summit Treestands Viper SD Climbing Treestand

Highlight: The Summit Viper SD Climbing Treestand offers a lightweight, ultra-comfortable design that keeps hunters quiet, secure, and steady all day in the woods.

Supportive Review: The price of this climber is great for the value of the product. Summit makes the best quality climber in my opinion. They are light weight, easy to use, comfortable, mobile, quite, feel secure when you set the teeth into the tree, and great for archery hunters. I’ve heard people say it is Josie to setup, but I have no issues setting up this bad boy. My recommendation for this people is take your time, plan our tour route, your assembly in the field, and practice your climbing. Generally it’s the operator making the noise not the equipment.

The only thing that would warrant some more attention is that the paint on the teeth has already come off, but I expected that to happen.

Special note for those looking to buy this bad boy. I’m 5”11, 205 with a waist of 34 add all those layers on here and the width of the seat is just enough to be comfortable. I’m going to buy the Goliath and give this viper to my girlfriend. If you have long legs like me Best Buy that foot rest extension.

5 out 5 stars summit I’ll be buying the Goliath next. -Alex Rao

2. Hawk Steel Hang-On Adjustable Hunting Game Deer

Hawk Steel Hang On Adjustable Hunting Game Deer

Highlight: The Hawk Steel Hang-On Adjustable Hunting Stand offers rock-solid stability and customizable comfort, keeping you safe and steady for long hunts.

Supportive Review: So many people complaining about difficult assembly. One guy said he pulled a muscle in his back trying to install one of the seat supports. Maybe take up board games as a hobby instead. I just assembled two of these in about an hour.

Instructions were clear (though mine were missing a few plastic washers – just buy a few). Very comfortable seat and the stand is solid. No, it’s not aluminum as one dude complained. If you want aluminum buy the Kickback “Helium” model for $60 more. One note: buy a couple of good ratchet straps to secure to the tree.

The one strap provided can’t be tightened securely enough for my liking. Very solid stand for less than half the price of a Millennium. -Mark Williams

3. Millennium Treestands M60U Ultralite Hang On Stand

Millennium Treestands M60U Ultralite Hang On Stand

Highlight: The Millennium Treestands M60U Ultralite offers a rock-solid yet lightweight design, making long hunts more comfortable without weighing you down.

Supportive Review: Taking the time to write this review simply because I love this stand already. I’ve had basically every big name stand in industry for mobile setup. This is my personal favorite. I’m 6’2 and 220 lbs. i wear size 13 boots.

I actually feel comfortable in this stand and I didn’t have to sacrifice size of platform and seat to be mobile. The competitors stands were so tiny and uncomfortable, in my full winter gear I would look down and couldn’t even see the stand I was sitting on.

My preset hang ons are usually 25-30 feet high. This is first mobile set I can comfortably set above 15 feet. I have room to move and not feel like one wrong move will have me falling from stand. Very easy to set up and pack gear in QUIETLY.

This has been issue in past without adding ton of straps to other stands. Just using the strap under seat and one cam buckle I can pack bag and sticks and bounce around with a hint of noise. I’m not big on standing up and moving around but this thing just feels safe I don’t even think twice about. Worth every dime I paid plus some. -Savanah

4. Hawk Deer Stands & Blinds

Hawk Deer Stands Blinds 1

Highlight: Hawk Deer Stands & Blinds deliver rock-solid stability and all-day comfort, keeping hunters hidden, steady, and ready for the perfect shot.

Supportive Review: I’ve been using the Hawk Helium 30″ climbing sticks for a few weeks now, and I’m really impressed with their performance. The lightweight aluminum construction makes them easy to carry, which is a huge plus for anyone who hikes deep into the woods for a hunt. I appreciate how compact they fold up, allowing for easy transport and storage.

The setup is straightforward, and the traction on the steps provides great stability as I climb. I feel secure when I’m up in my treestand, which is essential for any hunter. The 30″ height is perfect for reaching those higher spots without being cumbersome.

My only minor drawback is that I wish the straps were a bit more robust. While they work fine, I can’t help but feel that sturdier straps would add an extra layer of confidence during setup and takedown.

Overall, these climbing sticks offer excellent value for the price. They’re lightweight, durable, and easy to use, making them a solid choice for anyone looking to elevate their hunting game. I highly recommend them! -Allegan B.

It is light for its size, which makes it easier to hang than steel stands of comparable size. It is also very durable. Two seasons in the woods (removing during off season, of course), and the mesh seat and back are still in great condition. I will definitely purchase more of these. -Darrell D Martin

They use bushings for fitment. The seat is very comfortable, a sit all day stand if you need it. I’d say it’s great value and quality for the money. Very stable hunting platform. Used it all season with no complaints. Assembly was not hard at all. -Glenn Hall

7. XOP Hang On Tree Stand for Hunting

Supportive Review: This product is just as described, and it comes with straps and a harness which is awesome. Not the backpack strap in the pic those are upgraded but out the box has black ones.

Has a green tree tie off and safety harness. Seat is very comfortable and for the smaller of the 2 stands I wear a 15 boot and have room to stand up and move take a half step enough shoot my bow and stats huge I hate shooting with my legs together. Very sturdy and if hung CORRECTLY!

Like I can step on the edge at 6 foot 3 180lbs. So all in all if you want top teir this may not be for you. But if you want mid-top teir quality at mid-low level pricing these are PERFECT! if you are new to hang on or looking to my multiple as a seasoned hunter or just a simple upgrade you can’t go wrong. -Ridge

8. Millennium Treestands M50 Hang-On

Millennium Treestands M50 Hang On

Highlight: Experience ultimate stability and quiet precision with the Millennium Treestands M50 Hang-On, perfect for all-day deer hunts.

Supportive Review: We were turned onto Millenium tree stands due to their CamLock system. It is every bit of what we expected. The CamLock system is safe and secure, and it eliminates a lot of time and energy put into hanging an ordinary stand.

The seat is comfortable and doesn’t hold water/moisture like other tree stand seats, making longer sits possible and more comfortable. Both the seat and the platform are adjustable, so you can adjust the stand around a tree that is not perfectly straight. Considering the low price, it’s a wonder that these tree stands aren’t used by every hunter. 5 stars without hesitation! -Kyle

9. Hawk CRUZR Hang On, Tree Stand

Hawk CRUZR Hang On Tree Stand

Highlight: Hawk CRUZR Hang-On Tree Stand: Lightweight, ultra-stable, and built for quiet, all-day deer hunting comfort.

Supportive Review: Wanted a treestand that utilized a hanging bracket to make hanging easier and safer and I found this. For less than $100, it’s hard to beat. Although assembling the seat proved to be somewhat difficult, the end product is wonderful.

Sturdy when hung and the platform is roomy and solid. The seat with lumbar is a great bonus. I do agree with some reviews that the length of seat does take up some room to move on the platform, it’s not to a point where I feel unsafe in this stand. Overall I highly recommend and definitely pick up the cruzr bracket. -Dryer

10. Summit Treestands Goliath SD Climbing Treestand

Summit Treestands Goliath SD Climbing Treestand

Highlight: Experience unmatched stability and comfort on every hunt with the Summit Treestands Goliath SD Climbing Treestand.

Supportive Review: I am a first time tree stand buyer and owner. And i must say, i cant imagine it getting better than this one. Its super easy to

Set up, climb, and sit in. Im about 18 feet up in it right now and i couldnt feel more safe. I weight about 240 with about 20 pounds of gear. As for treestands go, i would imagine any extra room is not only hard to come by, but will make handleing and climbing that much more difficult. That being said, i have room to stand, sit and even turn around. Thats more then i could ask for.

The harness gets bad reviews for good reason. Its not the easiest to get used to, but after fiddling around with it for about an hour and putting it on before i even left my house, its not all that bad and easy to get used too.

The stand is perfect as it is, but the one mod i will make is to add a large carabiner or two to attach my backpack, bow and my coat to if need be. Ohhh. And cut the tags off the seat. They make crumbling sounds. I highly recommend this stand… GET IT! -Mike

11. MUDDY The Boss Hang On Person Deer Hunting

MUDDY The Boss Hang On Person Deer Hunting

Highlight: MUDDY The Boss Hang-On delivers unmatched stability and comfort, keeping you safe and stealthy for all-day deer hunts.

Supportive Review: This was my first tree stand, and I’m thrilled with it. Super wide and comfy seat for long sits, always easy to set up, minimal noise with the quieting washers, and had endured from Sept to Dec in the elements without showing any wear and tear. Feels sturdy and locks in tight, even though I had a few sets in trees I probably should have passed on. Can’t think of anything I’d want different in a hang on stand! -Tommy

12. Guide Gear Deluxe Hang-On Tree Stand

Guide Gear Deluxe Hang On Tree Stand

Highlight: Guide Gear Deluxe Hang-On Tree Stand delivers sturdy, all-day comfort and quiet stability for your ultimate deer hunting experience.

Supportive Review: Awesome Hang On stand! Went together fairly easy, but a better instruction manual could be sent with it. Glad I am mechanically inclined! Stand seems pretty sturdy but won’t know until I am up in it.

Doesn’t seem to make much noise(squeaks, rattling). Foot platform is pretty roomy. A better system could be designed for the seat. If you don’t have straps right. You will hit the platform. The armrest pads are cheap. Those are really the only cons I have about it.

The safety harness is what is! It’ll be a backup to my backup plan if my harness ever goes bad. Tweak the seat, armrest pads, and you’ll definitely have a 5* hang on. I’ll review again once it is used in the field. -Charles B.
