1. Extinguisher Deer Call by Illusion

Highlight: The Extinguisher Deer Call by Illusion delivers incredibly realistic buck, doe, and fawn sounds, complete with an easy-to-use slide system that allows for instant tone adjustments in the field.
Supportive Review: Just used my new black Extinguisher call hunting two days ago. It was about 7:00 am. Wind out of the west about 3/4 mph. My tree stand is about 80 yards from a bean field. 40 yards of trees and sticker bushes and 40 yards of thicker autum olive bushes and then the field. I was thinking that a deer could hear me if they were in the field close. It was very quiet. In the video they showed how just using your your normal breathing and no forced air would make a good doe sound. Sooo I gave it a try.
Normal breath and I closed it off with my left hand slowly. Being so quiet the sound was perfect. I knew that it could reach the field. 10 min later the sun was just starting to show off my right shoulder. I was looking N/ W. I saw a slight movement in the thick A/O brush line about 60 yards away. I thought Squirrel!!. A few minutes later this big 8 pointer lifted his head up. I couldn’t believe my eyes. He was slowly moving in one step and then looking around.
This went on for at least 10 min. He kept coming. I couldn’t catch my breath to make a short call. He was now buy the sticker bushes and half of his body was covered. He is about 45 yards away. The only good opening I had was at 40 yards if he kept coming the same way. He stood there for 5 more min. Then one step at a time he approached my opening. His head than neck came into my shooting lane. He stood there for 5 min.
Looking around. Never looking my way. Instead of stepping all the way forward he started to turn left. He stood like that for a few minutes. Than slowly walked away from me. I did have a shot when his head and neck was in my lane but I didn’t like my odds of making a clean shot. I was using a crossbow. There is no doubt in my mind that I called him with that soft doe call. I know I could have made more calls as he was leaving but I was totally in shock. He never new I was there and I hope I will see him during the upcoming RUT. -Richard Engleman
Trending Review: Works flawlessly. VERY easy to use, unlike some calls that take time to perfect a perfect blow. Only things that caught my eye were the groove for the lanyard looks a lil shallow for my liking and the reed slide moves a little too easily. Feels like I’d have to hold it in the right position to keep it from sliding around. I’ll gladly overlook both those things for the quality sound this makes with ease. It would have saved me time and money buying the extinguisher first over other brands, it really is the #1 call on the market. -Nick
2. Primos Hunting Power Buck and Doe Call

Highlight: The Primos Hunting Power Buck and Doe Call delivers incredibly realistic deer sounds, helping hunters draw bucks in close with lifelike precision and ease.
Supportive Review: It’s great to have a dough bleat, and a buck call all in one product! I used it during the later part of last season and was not able to get a deer, but I do know that this thing sounds really good and I can’t wait to try it out next season. Anyone who knows deer hunting knows that just because you use a call doesn’t always mean a deer will come in! Having this in my pack is really nice and I would recommend it. -Kristen Loughridge
Trending Review: This call worked perfectly and was super easy to use and carry. The neck strap and smaller size makes it easy to carry and durable. The fact you can change the call and it has both buck and doe bleats for different phases of the rut make it extremely versatile. Definitely worth the money! Now if I could just close the deal after calling them in. -Allissa Specht
3. Flextone Outdoor Hunting For Deer Game Call

Highlight: The Flextone Outdoor Hunting for Deer Game Call delivers incredibly realistic deer sounds that bring big bucks closer, making every hunt more effective and exciting.
Supportive Review: Very realistic sounding deer call. I like the fact that it not only has the buck, doe, and fawn calls but it also has the snort-wheeze function(dominate buck sound). It has a slider button that I can easily use with one hand while blowing into the call.
The attached tube helps with making strong or soft grunts or bleats, especially if you use both hands and cup around the bottom of the tube. The call is much, much louder than my other calls but as I mentioned above, I can make really soft calls also. It has a “no freeze” funtion built into the slider button(if your breath freezes up the call, a simple slide up or down will keep it from being useless).
I have not gotten to try it in the woods yet, tomorrow I’m taking it hunting and will report back if I have good results. This is a Very Nice Multi Funtion Deer Call, Especially for the price I paid for it. There are similar products(it is almost identical to a call that is 3x the price of this one but the pricier one doesn’t include the snort-wheeze function). I am Very Pleased with this purchase. -lilmama44
Trending Review: This thing is great! I have had a few calls, this one is very close to the real thing. Well worth the price. It is very convenient to have all 3 calls in one unit and to perform so good. Trust me,you won’t be disappointed. I only gave it 4 stars in durability because I haven’t put it thru that part but I guarantee you this, it will be getting used often. Follow up::: the tube has a tendency of working it self off when directing the sound. I personally just used electrical tape to hold it in place. To the manufacturer, it would be to your advantage to correct this issue. I am pleased with this tool. -Dave
4. BUCK COMMANDER Deer Calls for Hunting

Highlight: The BUCK COMMANDER Deer Calls deliver rich, realistic sounds that draw big bucks in close, making every hunt feel like the real deal.
Supportive Review: Went on my first ever hunting trip in west Texas. I knew there was a buck and several does in the area. Didn’t see anything all day. Decided about 15 minutes before sunset to try out this product. Let out two short grunts to alert the buck, then one single grunt about 15 minutes later to help him find me. Had a beautiful 10 point come within 5 minutes after. Couldn’t be happier and won’t go out again without this product. -Max
Trending Review: Well made just a little concern about the rubber ring to adjust the sound between fawn dough and buck it may deteriorate over time otherwise great sounding call looks good too with the bright orange you don’t have to worry about dropping it from your tree stand and taking 2 hours to find it easy to use strong materials functions as it should. -Wlfchic
5. Hunters Specialties Hunting True Talker OG Deer Call

Highlight: The Hunters Specialties True Talker OG Deer Call delivers incredibly realistic buck and doe sounds, making it a must-have tool for drawing deer in close during any hunt.
Supportive Review: I’ve used many different deer calls, and there is just something about the tone that can’t be beat. It’s probably the rubber coating on it. The rubber eliminates all the plastiky sound commonly associated with grunt tubes. Like everything though, you need to practice with it. Watch some videos of live deer communicating and practice. It probably could be a little easier to use for multiple sounds, but once you learn how to use it, it’s very realistic sounding. Worse comes to worse, set it for your favorite sound and use it for that. Good luck. -Kim
Trending Review: This is a great call. I started using this grunt call 35 years ago. I have always called in bucks . What’s great about it is you could change your vocalization which is what you want I think it sounds more realistic than the rest of them. but I heard they change the read on it. Now I’m afraid to find out what the new ones sound like. Guy Karow
6. Flextone Outdoor Hunting Versatile Realistic Sounds

Highlight: The Flextone Outdoor Hunting Call delivers incredibly realistic sounds that mimic natural game calls, giving hunters a powerful edge in the field.
Supportive Review: Having purchased and tried several, I keep coming back to this one. Great range of realistic sounds and works in all kinds of weather. I bought a second one just in case they stop making them. -Teddie2
Trending Review: This Call is Great! My son and I hunted with this during archery and got to use it a few times to catch the attention of the buck from over 75 yrds. Small buck so no shooter. My son loved it so I got him one for Christmas! -Brandon
7. Primos Hunting Trophy Grunter Call

Highlight: The Primos Hunting Trophy Grunter Call delivers rich, realistic deer sounds that draw big bucks in close, even during tough hunting conditions.
Supportive Review: First day in the field with this grunter and had a buck SPRINT at me. Im not call a expert, but this thing simply works. Small enough to pack in a chest pack and can be extended for longer, deeper calls if necessary. It does have a setting for estrus bleats on the reed, but its nowhere close as effective as the primos “the can”. Pair the two and you’ll only have your poor shot to blame for not bringing home deer! -Bsadin
Trending Review: It works surprisingly.. I’ve used their deer antler rattles and have rattled in some decent bucks. They don’t bring in bucks every time but it does break up the boredom. I thought I’d give this a try. Of course I’m no expert on either one. I watched some videos on grunting and rattling which helped and practiced before heading to the woods..
You have to use them at the right place and right time. I grunted one morning a couple times and a spike came right to me within 20 yards. I let him walk and as he got about 40 yards away I grunted again and he stopped and looked back but didn’t see anything and kept walking. I grunted another buck on another day but let him walk also.
I think if I would have been using my buck decoy with the rattles and grunt call things would have been different. This works better than any scent stuff I’ve used. The call is adjustable for different sounds. I kept it on MB (mature buck) but it can be set for a doe bleet, a TB trophy buck and a few others. -Ted Shockey
